They would always call or text me and I would pay with a debit card. Easy, right? Thing is, they would call on the 29th or 30th, sometimes even on the 1st, so over time I forgot my due date was the 27th. Now suddenly there are new owners and they inform me they're just about to roughly double the rent (it went from $70 to $90 to $140, but they claim that's the going rate). So I decided to leave. On the 29th of last month, the guy texted me to pay my bill (remember it was due on the 27th which I had forgotten). I texted back that I was moving out that day after work. He INSTANTLY texted me back "Your unit has been red locked." Yep, locked me out for $7 worth of rent. Called up, guy (who himself was actually pretty cool) tells me there's nothing I can do but pay for another entire month because I missed my date, and they won't allow me to pay by the day or week. Rules, you know. So I went ahead and paid another month. Fast forward to today, now I'm sitting here locked out, not of my unit, BUT THE WHOLE PLACE! Yep, they locked me out and never unlocked me when I paid, which was WITHIN TEN MINUTES of being locked out. Now I have to come back tomorrow, ON THE 27th, when someone is here to let me in. Major inconvenience, but hey, it's not their problem. Also they told me if I was ever inside the compound when the gates automatically lock for the night, there was nothing I could do but wait in there until morning. Seriously, they said that to a paying customer. All in all, I would say Secure Easy Storage is unfriendly and unprofessional, and a pain in the a$$ to use because of the hours. If you do rent there, make sure you play by all their rules because they absolutely WILL NOT help you out. It's very secure, though, I have to admit that.

Before the Thanksgiving holiday they text me and let me know a payment was due I told her I would pay by the end of the day I did not call her back I paid online and I went that weekend to get some stuff out for my Christmas decorations that my kids were over to help me hang and I was locked out of the gate she assumed that I wasn't going to pay on time lock the gate before she left and I did pay online and so now I'm locked out of the gate upon texting her she said well you didn't pay until after closing unfortunately and so now we can't unlock the gate until the following Tuesday I wish there was no late fee applied so why was I even locked out of the gate in the first place but I did pay before closing on Wednesday they offered no help to come and unlock the gate or even consider the fact that they're wrong and I just can't stand this place can't wait to find a new unit
