I've received 2 increases in less than a year. When attempting to configure autopayment through their portal, using the exact details copied/pasted from my lease I was unable to establish an account profile because it could not match to a tenant. When I tried going to my unit today, my gate code no longer works and I've received no communication indicating a change, suspension or other issue. There are no employees onsite at any time, and when calling the phone I first had to listen to/decline (5) separate ads for completely unrelated services, at which point I was connected to a chatbot that claimed the business I was trying to reach is not a recognized client. The website is down. This has all the markings of a business that is either heading into bankruptcy or has been sold to a holding company.

They really need to clean the inside of their vehicles before renting to the next customer! The inside of the vehicle smelled like cigarette smoke and weed. The inside of the windshield, the dashboard, steering wheel, seats and floors were dirty! I get it, there are rental trucks, but one should expect them to be cleaned every once in a while. To top it off, I was not credited for the extra gas I put in the truck beyond what was in it at pick up (1/2 tank of gas and then filled the gas tank up to 3/4 tank before returning, as I wasn't quite sure how much to fill it to get back to 1/2 tank. I asked for a credit and the U-Haul staff at the U-Haul Moving & Storage of Milford, OH location said they could not credit me because they didn't have a button for that. That's not fair or a good customer experience, especially when gas is $5 per gallon and U-haul charges $10+ per gallon if the vehicle is returned with less than what was in the tank at pick up! I doubt anyone at U-Haul will even read this feedback or do anything to make it right. I suppose all I can do is leave this bad review on social media to warn others.

I've drove a lot of vehicles from heavy equipment, big trucks to regular truck & small cars in my life and military service. Some conversions are normal in these types of vehicles. However try 26' truck I rented was far beyond normal. I filed the complaint with Uhaul, they were sending out someone to lol at the vehicle but due to time constraints for the rental I had to cancel it but made sure that the complaint would be followed up on. While retuning the vehicle the traction control light came on (unloaded mind you/ tow haul off well as I did driving to the pickup location) the vibrations unloaded were intense and it's not the road conditions either they were dry and not wet, typical road bumps on 275/471/71/75 etc. and these are roads I've driven my entire life. The Milford location Asst. mgr. called me after a "30 minute diagnosis from the mechanic" stated there was nothing wrong with the vehicle. So I have submitted the videos my 12 yr took while driving the truck To Uhaul itself as that location is not a franchised one. I am asking for the full refund of the rental $167.65 plus the $35.00 for the fuel. I've rented from Uhaul plenty of times and never experienced this type of situation from any of the rentals and I usually rent 20-26' trucks anytime I rent from them.

Management was utterly useless. I'm going to have to go back tomorrow to speak to someone higher up and get this solved. I'm out memories possessions that belong to dead relatives that I can never get back because they're obviously dead. Not to mention the emotional distress that I am now receiving because of this, if they had given me a call that some thing had occurred I could've possibly have saved some items and when I went inside to ask them if they had anything in their system regarding it she outright said no, no one said anything to them. This has been an absolute nightmare of a move from start to finish. We had given simple…read moreinstructions to pick up at 2 locations and drop off the combined stuff into a single location. At the second location they were bringing my piano up the stairs. Why would I move a piano to a place we are moving from? Next, they laid all of our boxes upside down in the new place. All my containers like grits, oatmeal, and oil spilled all over the place naturally. It's so much more effort to flip a box than to just pull it off a dolly ‍. They laid an ottoman with a lid on upright instead of flat on the ground and naturally all my stuff fell out. Boxes were broken at the bottom, and they just seemed to have thrown them around. Then, they couldn't move my piano up a second flight of stairs even though they were so ok with doing it at the second location, it has been sitting at the bottom of my staircase blocking access to the laundry for 4 days. You know they also wanted a tip by the way. I'm also magically missing a box of shoes that had a pair of vintage inside. I called about that, the guy who answered said he would look and call me back. I never heard anything. Then, after waiting all week (we moved Sunday, it was rescheduled to Friday), they were supposed to come bring my piano up the first flight of stairs, they never showed up. We weren't even asking for them to bring it up to the third floor like we want. I called that morning at 9am and they confirmed they would be coming out after their first move of the day today. At 5:51pm, I called again, and the guy who answered the phone said someone already called to tell us they wouldn't do it and I needed to get professional movers. They didn't. I never heard anything since my confirmation this morning. Now I'm going to call actual professional movers. Overall without including the tip this crap job cost $1200 ( I was quoted $810) and they didn't even finish Update: when they reach out about lost items they expect you to have a receipt and photos of each item. They lost an entire box of shoes with over 20 pairs! Who has receipts for all of that! And if they disagree with you they will pursue legal action and require you to pay their legal fees on top of everything. This place is an absolute scam.
