Upon moving my property out of the unit, signing the vacate notice, leaving the unit empty and clean the regional manager "Sam" charged my account for the storage fee the following month after I vacated. I called them to make them aware of the error. They were pleasant at 1st and reimbursed my money that morning, however that afternoon they again charged my account for the storage rent. I spoke to them on the phone through out the week as well as went to the business to try to resolve the issue. The manager " Sam" became very rude and nasty. He said " I reimbursed your money, why would I need your money I have a 35 million dollar business." I showed him my bank statement where he double charged my account in 1 day. He became extremely obnoxious and said " Lady I told you I make millions of dollars a year, I don't need your money, I'm not reimbursing you" he refused to place the money back into my account. I'm paying for empty unit 7113. I'm sure he's robbed other's to make his millions. Pathetic!

This was my first time ever needing a storage unit. Ashleigh was extremely friendly and more than willing to educate me on how everything worked. She personally drove me to my unit in a golf cart since I was worried about getting lost. When I realized I was going to need a bigger unit she happily helped me get a different unit that same day. All around a very relaxed and welcoming experience. The price is the best around too.

The location is easy to get to and there is a small parking lot to the left. The truck I rented was brand new (not always the case) and even had a aux input for the stereo. There is a gas station across the street so you can refill right before you return your truck. The worker that assisted us was friendly and chatty. He even was able to tweak our rental so that it was only considered 1 day even though technically it was overnight. There are some random things inside the building as deadbeat storage clients items are sometimes sold to the public. There is also 2 large bookcases filled with free books. Only use for a very short time!!!…read more I moved to one of their small units in January while my girlfriend and I organized things after we moved in together. There was an online special for a small room for $25 a month. They also charge a $25 administrative fee when you sign up. After 4 months they are already raising my rent $10 a month due to "market adjustment". When I look online they are still offering the same move in special for $26, yet it's going up $10 for existing renters. Their business model is the hope that you'll never move your stuff and just deal with the price increase. It's a suitable place if you're only going to be there 2-3 months, but after month 4 you'll likely get a rent hike. Also the the operator will badger you for a review while you're there, but make sure to wait until you've been there a while before you do review. Most of the reviews on here were done when they started the process, and it doesn't get bad until later. Look at the "excluded reviews" for the company and they're basically all the same.

I highly recommend renting from this specific location at Fort Wright, Kentucky - ask for Troy Jetter!! Thanks Troy for making my move so much less stressful :) Plus great prices and great specials. Paperwork I was provided is basic like other storage units I've rented in the past. 10 day notice to vacate and no prorated months, which I've found typical for most storage places.
