Elam & Son's were actually recommended to me by another Piano Moving company in the Cincinnati area that came out to my home but were ultimately unable to help me! I needed help moving the a 500+lb Stairmaster machine up a flight of stairs into my second story condo. The machine was extremely bulky and awkwardly shaped, making it very difficult to move/lift even with tools (so much so that the first company I tried before E&S came and left!). But Elam & Son's were able to squeeze me in within a couple of days of my call, they were reasonably priced (I know because I got a couple other quotes from other piano/organ moving companies before my appointment and E&S's pricing was better), and they were able to get the machine where it needed to be in my home within an hour! I was nervous at first because only three men showed up with straps and some tools (same as the first company that came & left), so I didn't know if they'd be able to help me either. But these guys were SO great! They had to remove two of my doors and part of the Stairmaster machine itself to fit it in my guest room without any damage, but they put everything nicely back together and now I can use the machine in my home! I had to get 6 pieces of woodworking equipment and two pinball machines from my basement along with a 32 foot extension ladder. We tried several other movers who all turned the job down but finally one recommended Elam & Sons. They moved everthing the other day with absolutly no issues. Not a single nick or dent in anything and not even contact with a wall or anything. These guys are pros. They blanket wrapped everything and strapped it down. If you want pros for difficut work these are the guys. Oh, I forgot to say we called and scheduled the move. They confirmed a few days berfore hand and showed up exactly when they said they would be there. And their price is competitive. We will use them for our next move! read more

We hired them to move a piano only, and got their name from Henderson Pianos, who recommended them for it. They worked with our schedule and did an excellent job - I was nervous as all get out because it's 13 stairs up our front walk and into our house, and those instruments are heavy. I scheduled to move a month in advance and checked on it twice. The day of the move they did not show up when I called them they said they did not have me on the schedule and they could do nothing to help me I was just out of luck. They were recommended to me by my realtor l so I will make sure she knows what type of service they gave me. I highly recommend you do not use this moving company . read more

These guys unloaded our truck we drove up from Atlanta in February 2015 and then moved us into our house in August 2016. They are fast, careful, work hard, and have great attitudes. Amazing customer service! Stayed in touch before visit, showed up early, safely got a 700 lb safe down the stairs without any damage. My movers arranged for them to move the piano out of a living room with a half wall. It was my understanding they would professionally move the piano to the new house. They were just moving the piano 4 feet and wanted $350. They showed up in a pick up truck. Very disappointed. read more
