During the move floors were unprotected and gouged and scratched and walls were also scratched and gouged. A 3 piece wall unit was ripped apart without the connecting bolts removed. In addition, 2 of the 6 glass doors were broken. A dryer and freezer were both damaged and the freezer stopped working. Parts were left anywhere. For example, 2 futons were taken apart. At the new house futon parts were found in the garage, some in the kitchen and others in the basement. Shelves to a bookcase were not found. Trash was left behind in our yard after they left. This is not a comprehensive list, just the major highlights. I filed a claim, and almost 4 months later here are the results. The damages to floors and walls cost over $1600 to fix. They offer $0 to repair. The bookcase cost $1100 30 years ago, and $7000 to replicate. They offer $850. The freezer reimbursement offer was $60. I elected $10,000 insurance, but you see the results of my claim submission. I opened my storage account about eight months ago in the spring for a total of $85 a month. Suddenly in January overnight my rent nearly doubled to $155! I could understand a 10% increase or whatever but to nearly double?! It's outrageous! They claim that they sent me a letter, but I never received anything. I live out of state and was planning to keep my things there for the next year, I can't easily get out there to move my things out to a different storage facility. I feel completely taken advantage of. Please do not rent from here! After just a few months, they will increase your rent and not buy just a little bit, they will nearly double it. And to add insult to injury, the same space is renting for $80 online! But they expect me to be $155 for it as a loyal existing customer? The owner Mike needs to have his head checked! Why would you treat good customers like that? Disgusting!

They charged us 75.90 for the first two months until I caught the error and they corrected it stating they made a mistake and was charging us insurance even though they received our proof of insurance. Then the price increased dramatically January 2024 from $63.80 to $104.37 without any warning! They claim they mailed a letter warning of the dramatic increase, but we never received any letter nor email. I called to ask if they could honor the agreed upon price for one more month as we received no notification and the owner who I spoke to one the phone, Mike, was extremely rude and wouldn't even discuss it. Seriously that's over a 60% increase in rent. I would understand 5-10% tops. Way to take advantage of people once you have their belongings as hostage. Needless to say we moved out in January and would NOT RECOMMEND STORING YOUR STUFF HERE WITH THIS CROOK! Look elsewhere
