They did not know how to pack a truck I have several pieces of heirloom furniture that was scratched on the top and edges. They did not appear to be qualified to move things. Never used straps of any kind. I've moved many times in my life and never had so much damage and the lead guy kept saying it's fine, its good, we got it! Then to top it off, as I am unpacking a box and open one of the drawers I find half of one of my ball feet of my late husband bureau! I am not happy. I don't even think they rate a star!! I usually like to give everyone a fair chance, but these guys more training! We used a different company the day before they were quick, efficient and professional. No damages. If not for the owner's behavior, this would be a five-star review. Bruce and Ryne, the two movers who showed up, were phenomenal--professional, respectful, and tireless. They worked quickly but carefully, took only one short break, and kept positive attitudes through an exhausting fourteen-hour day. They were the bright spot in an otherwise dark experience. We chose Clark & Sons because their website emphasizes "strength in unity," professionalism, and care. Sadly, none of those values were reflected in how we were treated. Our written quote clearly stated $189 per hour for a three-man crew and one truck to move our three-bedroom home about twenty-five miles. On October 11, only two movers arrived at 9:15 a.m. They immediately called the company to report they needed help. We overheard multiple calls throughout the day asking for assistance, yet no one was ever sent. Because there were only two movers instead of three, the job took from 9:15 a.m. until 11:30 p.m. At the end of the night, Ryne called the owner, Clark, to discuss payment and handed the phone to my husband. My husband first praised Bruce and Ryne for their hard work, then raised the issue of the missing third mover. Clark's response was hostile, abusive, and threatening. He called us "thieves," said he was driving to Indianapolis and would "turn his car around" to come to our house to "embarrass us in front of our neighbors", and physically attack my husband. When my husband confronted him about his behavior, Clark threatened to call the sheriff. His aggression destroyed any sense of trust. We refused to provide our credit card number, fearing he might overcharge us, and instead requested a secure payment link like the one used for our deposit. Five days later, on October 16 around 11 p.m., my husband began receiving repeated calls from 513-264-2622. When he finally answered, the same man admitted it was him--the same Clark who had threatened us--and said he was "frustrated that day." He then demanded that my husband make me remove a review, even though I had not written one. When my husband refused, Clark continued calling--**six times between 10:49 and 11:04 p.m.--**and finally texted: "If you get that review removed, I'll give you $1,000 right now." Screenshots confirm both the quote and the repeated calls. Sadly, the harassment has continued with more calls today. And so NOW I am writing a review. We've moved many times, across states and even internationally, and have never experienced such unethical and threatening conduct from a moving company--let alone from its owner. Adding to the irony, Clark & Sons promotes itself as a Christian, family-owned business. Their trucks display Bible verses and crosses, and they advertise in the Christian Blue Pages under the phrase "Strength in Unity." Steady Moving offered the best rate for my specific date - and had great reviews as well. A few days ahead of my appointment, I called to confirm our mover's arrival time. I also received a call the day of our move to let us know that the movers were on their way. Communication is so important with services like this - and I'm very grateful that Steady Moving was easy to get in touch with throughout the entire process. Our movers arrived within our estimated time window, and got right to work. I was so impressed with how much they got done in such a short amount of time! They expertly packed our truck, and even offered some great recommendations on how best to secure our boxes and furniture for the drive ahead. We had them scheduled for two hours ... but they were done with everything in just over 90 minutes. We drove the moving truck ourselves, and had zero issues the entire way. I can't recommend this crew enough to anyone moving in the Greater Cincinnati area!

The guys show up with a dirty moving truck no security messures like shrink wrap dollies or…read moreblankets they were 1 hr late and expected me to provide the furniture covers and break down my own furniture. They left my white suede car bed at the moving location because I couldn't break my son's bed down. My son has to sleep on the floor until i can recover the bed frame. The job ended late lastnight and do you know they got their money but drove off with my sons bed rails. I had to get in my car to meet them to recover my son's bed rails. Not a good experience AT ALL.

We hired Robinson Relocations back in June for a fragile pack of kitchen and artwork and to load…read moreour POD and I certainly would not hire them again. We had issues from the beginning with the professionalism of the work. First, we didn't know when they were coming and they just showed up day of. I think they may have given us a window but no other warning other than that. My husband supervised them and noted that they took multiple smoke breaks, even leaving cigarette butts on our property. They also left energy drink cans in our garage, left some of our stuff loose without packing that my husband ended up having to pack, left a set of keys to who knows what, and left several moving blankets in our home that were not ours. Most importantly, we had adhesives on the walls for a bookshelf and they tore those off the walls despite my husband asking them not to which took the paint and some of the drywall off and ending up costing us $200 (which thankfully they reimbursed). The claim process was pretty easy to get the reimbursement, but apparently you can only file one claim, which I didn't realize and made my further claim null when I tried to file another claim for the items that broke during our move. After we moved and we unloaded our POD, we had many issues with how things were packed. We did have our stuff in storage for three months so I am not sure how much that impacted how well things were maintained, but there were obvious errors they made that ended up costing us many of our items. For example, heavier boxes being packed on top of lighter boxes (the movers we hired to unload our POD told us that was an obvious error). We also had a table whose legs were not taken off and therefore was ruined in the move as a leg was ripped off. The same thing happened with one of our night stands that was not wrapped properly and a leg was torn off. Our couch was not wrapped properly, the couch cushions were shoved on top of everything else without any wrapping or cover and all fell out when we unloaded it. Our mattress was not fully covered and got wet. A lot of our fragile items were seeming just poured into boxes. Most of our artwork was not wrapped properly and some were even shoved into boxes that they didn't fit in. It was remarkable that we only lost a few mugs and the rest of our dishes and art were intact. Not a huge deal but we did lose most of our boxes which in previous moves we have been able to reuse. Like I said I filed a claim for some of these items and was told that the claim I had filed earlier I signed a paper that said I couldn't file a claim again. So just be aware of that. They also claimed that none of this was actually their fault, which I would presume any company would do, and would blame the packing of the boxes by the customer (which they did for some of it), the POD and how it was transported (which they did for others), or the unpackers. Because of this, I would recommend going with a full service mover if possible, as I feel they would have treated our things nicer if they knew they were responsible for it through its journey. Unfortunately, since we needed to store our items for a few months, we didn't have that luxury. This was also a very expensive move. About $2k for 4 hours of work. I've attached some photos to showcase the work they did and some of the errors they made. I was really looking forward to working with this local company after seeing many positive reviews but unfortunately we had a very poor experience and would not recommend.
