I have driven past this place for many years and it always seems busy. I had my girlfriend's car aligned at another shop and 3 months later noticed they had done it wrong and now the 2 front tires were garbage. replaced the tires and based on positive reviews took it to Bear to have the alignment done. the only draw back was it's a small lot and knowing where to park was difficult. the waiting area is clean, the people very friendly, and the service took exactly how long it was supposed to. I was not up sold anything and over hearing Paul talk to other customers I know he was being honest with them which is very refreshing. I typically do most of the maintenance on our vehicles but I wouldn't think twice about coming back here and trusting them with my vehicles. read more

What can I say besides great place with excellent customer service. They are an old skool alignment place that doesn't use computer guided lasers. This helps get that alignment just right by adjusting and road testing. One thing that they did for me, adjusted my control arms but since my alignment was spot on, they didn't even charge me. Also cannot beat $55 flat for alignment. I highly recommend this place. read more

I was so impressed with the service I received today. I had A A A jump my 2007 CHEVY HHR and it blew a power assist steering fuse out. I called in to explain what had happened to Chuck at Bear Auto repair and he said bring it over and we will pop a new fuse in. With just a little wait to get the right part. Stopped by for an alignment on my Sprinter 2500, ended up needing new ball bearings and the crew was able to get it all done the same day for a great price. There was a small issue with a sensor not working after the parts were replaced and bear did everything they could to get the replacement ordered and getting me back on the road in no time. I have been going to bear alignment and brake for about 10 years, this is the most honest and ethical place I have ever found. About 5 months ago I was sure I had a rear main seal leak because that's what I was told by another shop. When I called Paul to make the appointment I told him I thought it was a rear mail seal leak. It turns out it was just a leak from the axle and so the cost was much much less than planned. I don't know much about cars so they could have easily ripped me off and charged me for the rear main seal leak which is what I had brought it in for, and it would have been impossible for me a to verify what was actually fixed, but these guys are very honest Also I always have my brakes done there, recently brought it in because of squeaking brakes, they did something (sanded the pads)? As a quick fix and it worked, i was very surprised when I picked it up and Jeff told me I didn't owe anything! I will always be a loyal customer because I know I will be treated fairly and not ripped off. You guys have my business for life , very honest place read more

went in Friday around noon, dropped off my car and by 3PM my car was ready to be picked up. Got my front brakes changed. They did call and SUGGEST (not pushy) about some other services that could be done, but when i said i would take care of that a little later, they completely understood and did not try to push anything on me. First time i've ever been to a car shop that does not try to scam me. I was referred to this place and i think i found my go to now. The service was very friendly, dealt with Paul and Jeff. You guys definitely know how to make your customers feel at peace! Brakes are working just fine and I feel safe driving around again. Thank you so much! I called ahead of time and scheduled an appointment for an alignment on my lunch break. I asked if they could get it done within the hour. Not only did they get the work done quickly and perfectly, but I had half my lunch hour left to enjoy some food. During the 30 minutes they had my business, they managed to align both the front and rear of my car and explain some options that I had in terms of an aggressive alignment setting I was asking for. I miss this level of service. It's no wonder that this place is packed all the time. I especially love the new Saturday hours as I will be bringing them more business in the future. Important note though, "YOU MUST MAKE AN APPOINTMENT!" Anyone who walks in and expects to get serviced as if there aren't more intelligent people who actually make appointments needs a reality check. Sure you can walk down the street to some box store but I seriously doubt you'll get the level of service that you could have gotten here if you had simply called ahead of time and been prepared with an appointment. read more

I went in early in the morning right when they opened and Paul failed to communicate well, he has horrible customer service etiquette, he's just point blank a TERRIBLE so called manager. I don't understand how he has a manager position when I waited for 2 hrs for my car just to sit there while he couldn't tell me when my car would be worked on just because he failed to tell me on saturdays they only take appointments . He showed favoritism towards all the other cars and made me waste my damn time. I normally deal with Jeff and Jeff is great but if they didn't have Jeff working there then not sure how pauls dry personality would be able to upkeep that place opened. His action today was un called for and therefore is why because of you My rating is a zero! I don't recommend him to anyone because he sucks and has NO people skills and the only skills he has is talking on the phone and giving wrong information. If you do decide to give them your business make sure you deal with only Jeff because Paul is an ASSHOLE. read more

At first we were quite disappointed in the work and care we received from Bear Alignment. We had originally come in to get our alignment checked and, after having it inspected by Paul and his team, found that we needed one of our bearings replaced. After dropping the money to do so, we got it back and heard a weird grinding noise. We brought it back and it turned out we needed to replace our brake pads. Paul generously replaced these at cost. Got the car back and continued to hear the grinding noise. Brought it back one last time and they replaced the same bearing they had originally fixed at no charge. Must have been a bad part, though there was some of this that could have been avoided had more care been taken. Thank you to the team for getting us fixed and to Paul for getting us in and out same-day on all occasions. He handled the situation professionally and even called in to check on us a week later to make sure the car worked fine. 4 stars because of the amount of time spent bringing the car back multiple times after initially bringing it in for a small issue. 5 stars because we have been issue-free since. Awesome place, the team here did an exceptional job on my CR-V! I couldn't get it aligned for close to a year and they did it on the first run. Jeff was very knowledgeable and diagnosed the vibration and pull issues and then addressed them at record speed. Came here from a recommendation from Dirt Werks Offroad. I came the first time they told me i needed new lower balls joints which i didnt know i needed was awesome they told me. I went had them done and then set up another appointment and had them do the alignment. I was in and out and they did a great job. Just know its appointment olny they are busy. I took my car here when I had a lowrider about 25 years ago and they always took care me. I haven't been back since then. I took my car for an alignment there today and ended up getting a phone call telling me my control arm bushings were leaking and they couldnt locate only the bushing and can just locate control arms. That went from a $50 dollar alignment to $ 1150 repair. And they could not due the alignment unless I did the repair. That makes sense but had a funny feeling so I ended up taking my car to a trusted mechanic in corona and he inspected it and said every thing looks great no leaks. He ended up taking it too a different alignment place in Corona and it's now aligned and seems ok. I'll change my yelp if this turns out to be false. Update 10/11/17. Well they obviously read the yelp reviews. I did get a phone call from a gentlemen named Dan. I explained the Yelp to him and why I posted it. He agreed on the aspect of not enough do-diligence being executed in finding just the bushing. That would be a mistake on their part. He did how ever clearly remember my car and stressed to me the repairs that are needed. Dan has requested that I take my car back down to him so he can personally show me the findings he noticed. I told him in a few weeks that I would take my car back down there and take a look at what he is saying. I will follow up with another update after I do this. read more

Where do I even start?!! I stopped by Bear alignment last week and spoke to Paul, made an appointment at 8:00 a.m when they opened. I showed up at 7:50 and the shop was already open and all the techs were ready to work, one customer was in front of me that was there for an oil change and Paul the owner went to get the mileage of her car and came back told her that her oil change isn't due for 2000 more miles unless she wants to do it early, that right there showed me he's an honest man. Anyways they took my car in and aligned it to the specs I wanted and got my steering wheel centered, they kept my car clean and the tech working on it did a great job! I grew up in Corona but have moved away in my adulthood. My alignment was off, I went to a local shop local and got it aligned - but it wasn't good. Needed a place I trusted so I drove back to Corona to Bear. They spotted som issues unknown to me, showed me the faults, explained it would align but would not be good in long term without repair. Did I'm the repairs, and the truck drove like a new truck and aligned perfectly. I was so glad I came back to these guys. Pailful and Jeff know their stuff. This is a good honest shop. I took my car in on a Friday for an alignment that another shop said they wouldn't do because it was within spec. Car pulled to the right, spec or no. Was suggested to go here by a tire shop and I am glad I took the advice. Made an appointment the day before, showed up about a half hour before. Paul took the car in right away and within a few minutes had found some problems with worn out tie rods and control arm bearings. Showed me the play that was due to the worn out parts. The other shop made no mention of these obvious problems. Paul replaced the old parts with upgraded aftermarket parts that were superior over the factory parts. Paul had an estimate, and even offered to do a portion of the work now and the other half later as the bill was over a grand. I opted to have it all done at the same time and asked when we should reschedule for the repair. Paul said we could do it now, and have me out by 5 pm. As promised, I picked the car up at 5 and everything was done properly, the car drives straight and I know it is safer now. Bear also does all other automotive work. I usually use a shop in Anaheim but think I will start bringing more vehicles to Bear Alignment and have Paul and his team do the maintenance and repair. I have known a few good shops though the years and this is definitely a good shop! read more
