They fixed my smog problem, very good service. It was not easy for them but they analyzed the problem and solved it .

I came here to repair a few things on my truck, he stated to just do a diagnostic check it was $300+ . He gave me a quote for my mirror turn signal an passenger door issue. He didn't do the turn signal so the quote should have been lower. He stated that some of the money would go towards the diagnostic and the repair. The total turned into $560.90. Not even a couple hours in the diagnostic he stated he terminated the turn signal cause it's after market. I was told my truck would be done latest the next business day. That turned into we can't get your truck together because of issues and we need it for the next day. He didn't tell me this until the middle of the day that my truck should have been finished. I'm sure he "Steven" does care or keep his word. He didn't even knock the price down to show some sympathy for making things worse. Cause rental cars are not cheap and he caused me another day and that was not the plan him and I agreed to. I know this shop is in Norco so don't let the location fool you. The people that live in Norco are way better than this. This shop should move downtown in LA where they can take advantage of all the tourists that come to spend money. Usually the people that take advantage of others get it in return, God bless him. I'm sure he will make a response to try to make them look better, but if you look closely all the one star ratings are from people that got taken advantage of by them. read more

Had my son car tow to the shop I got a call the person in the front desk said I need a deposit i as how much he said enough for the Part So we go in to pay the deposit, He change it up said you have to pay in full and then we work on the car .Being a women and African American in Norco they would try to take advantage of us and A plus I am Elderly. My wife took her 2011 infinity qx56 to make repairs to her vehicle that was recommended from another shop. They said the computer control module was bad and needed replacement. They replaced it with a used one, and some minor other things for a toya@ of $1432, not to mention they charged us $140 for "tightening spark plugs." Well as soon as we left shop it still had the same issue as we left. Call them about it and they said it would take a bit of time for the module to reset. It got worse, so we took it to a different shop and told us, not only was the cpu trash, but one of the catalytic converters was gutted. Mind you this vehicle was sitting at their shop for about 2 weeks. I'm calling them for a refund and if they refuse I'll be taking it to BBB. read more

Took our Yukon in for new belts and a new windshield wiper fluid pump. While the vehicle was in the shop for these repairs, the technicians broke the drivers side door handle. Instead of a phone call notifying us that they had broken the handle and how they were going to make it right, they charged us for it! Total cost was just under $1,000 for roughly $100 in parts, 2 hours + labor and damage to my vehicle. Manager was called and discussed all the facts noted above and he refused to make any concessions noting the "handle was going to break any day now anyways". Awesome how this guy has a crystal ball that just happens to remove money from my pocket and into his. These guys are shady. Steven honestly you're so dishonest it's not even funny. I never called back to get you to do other work on my car; I called you back to fix my A C unit that you discharged the Freon during your repair. How can you even justify charging me that type of price for the repair and damaging my car and not even fixing it that's deceptive business practices. I don't care how you feel about me and I know you don't care how I feel about you but business is never personal you should've fixed it. This is not the place to go if you are in a bind. The evening before coming here, I had drove down to SoCal from Santa Cruz, after having been evacuated because of the CZU Complex Fire. I had been planning on taking my truck in to get a multi-point inspection done before driving it on any long trips, but because of the wildfire I had to drive it down to SoCal to stay with family. I explained this to the guy on the phone, and I also explained to him that I needed a smog check done, but because my check engine light was on, I could not. I also told him that I was trying to get back to work in two days up in the Bay Area. He told me that they could squeeze me in and to come on down. I then drop off my truck and I'm told that they probably won't be done until around the time they close, 5pm. 4:20 comes around and I receive the call from him, he tells me that they didn't get to my truck, and also that the guy who does the check engine light service was not there that day, so it could not be looked at. He then asks me if I would like to leave my truck there for two days, until Monday. I told him no, because like I said earlier I am trying to get back to work on Monday. Finally, when I'm 5 min away, he calls and says its 5:00 and he can't wait for me any longer, and where he's putting my keys. I am amazed at the unprofessionalism that I experienced. read more

I have received great HONEST service from Norco Auto Tech in the past. This week I had some issues on my current vehicle and was happy to find out from Carmax that NAT has a contract with Carmax for Warranty repairs. I was politely greeted by Steven in the front office and explained the issues with my vehicle. Long story short, they diagnosed my vehicle and it ended up being "operator error" (what can I say I'm a Blonde, lol). I found these jewels because my car needed a smog check and was referred by a smog check place in Norco, CA, when I called them they were courteous and polite just how I like it. Showed up the following morning and they looked at my car and told me what was the problem & the EXACT price. So, I gave them the authorization to work on my car and within an hour I was out the door, now that's the kind of professionalism that I like and appreciate. They had to fix a code from my car, they cleaned the throttle and gave me a new air filter so I would pass my smog test & I did! I am a single mom. Brought my BMWX1 to Carmax Riverside. Since I have Carmax care suggested to bring my car to Auto Tech as a contractual repair shop to change my BMW Radiator.Chose this repair shop cos its close to my home. After it was picked up that day oil was still leaking. I have to bring it back not sure if it was changed or not. More than a year of not driving it because of Covid. This time coolant was always low and brought it to Carmax again suggested that radiator needs to be changed and have to bring it back to Auto tech since it is still covered for not driving it more than 75k miles. Steven from Auto tech told me that it is not the radiator and even charged me $65 for the diagnosis. Those 2 hoses need to be replaced and charging me $550. Since I don't trust this repair shop anymore I decided to drive my car to Vegas. It was too risky and so inconvenient for me and my kids. I have to stop, wait to cool down and refill coolant after driving 100 miles. Today I brought my BMW X1 to Carmax Vegas and the diagnosis is to change Radiator. Is Auto Tech trying to rip me off again?? So thankful I don't get fooled again with these guys taking advantage because I am a woman who does not know anything about cars. I took my 2005 Toyota Corolla here. When I called, I asked about checking out the car and was advised it was a "free estimate." Turns out that was not the case. I was charged something like $145 diagnostic fee...I basically had to pay for them to tell me what my car needed. On top of that the oil change was upwards of $75, for a COROLLA. A basic oil change. I thought we found an honest mechanic and would bring all of our cars here. I would not recommend this place, you're better off going to the car dealer, as they would even be cheaper (and that's saying a lot). Very disappointed in this business. read more

NOT GOOD. I would question the education and training( up dating ceritification) or plain buisness ethic on how buisness is done. I was called with a estimate that the work had already been done. Anthony/ Steve indicated that I had a leaky intake manifoild ( puddling according to Steve). I then presented a document from Dt Automotive in Los Alamitos that stated that there were no pressuere leaks any where in the cooling system to be found. The owner said " i saw puddling arouund the intake manifold". The labor rate at Norco Auto Tech currently is $ 95.00 per hr. DT auto motive is $80.00 per hr. Also, Norco Auto Tech charged me $660.00 to replace my radiator and associated plumbing . I provided after the fact from DT Automotive Tech wwith an invoice of $477.50.
