Ran over a tire on highway and was hearing a rattle. Told I had an exhaust leak at another shop that doesn't do exhausts. Brought it in to Mota and they found out it was two small bent metal strips, no leaks. They fixed it and didn't want to charge me due to it being so minor. Took my car in for service. There was a squeaking sound upon accelerating and stopping. The brakes needed to be changed. I highly recommend Mota. I hate taking my car to get serviced. It seems the places are always trying to upsell or take advantage of customers. At Mota I could see the mechanic checking and working on my car. loud clicking noise from the driver side front suspension has been bothering me for weeks. I've brought it to multiple repair shops to have it checked out; some of them were Tesla certified. But no one seemed to be able to identify the issue or fix it. They all quoted me different issues such as the axle and tie rod. Then I came to Moto Auto repair, and Luis gook one good look at it, told me it was a simple washer missing from a nut. After about 5 min, the noise was gone, and the repair was completed. Took my car in to have the rotors and brake pads replaced I supplied the parts was quoted $150 which fair because two years I took my car there and had the same thing done and it was only $100. when they put my car on the rack, all of a sudden he ask oh you want all 4 replaced? Then he said it would be $300. an hour for the front and an hour for the back. The job only took 56 minutes. I asked why charge me for 2 hours and he replied because he put my car first. Talk about trying to make excuses for overcharging me when last time it was only $100 for all four to be replaced. That's OK I was gonna have them do at least $2000 worth of front end work on my car but not now. I lost all faith in their honesty. read more

Mota auto took care of me despite the fact I couldn't make the time they told me to come back when I showed up with no appointment. They were extremely busy at the moment, but still gave me a time to come back the next day, and had me out within 45 minutes. I went in for an AC recharge, reasonable price for quality work mind you, but they were still extremely friendly, even though I felt bad for not making it back the day before. Very great customer service and my AC blows so cold, I need a jacket in the car at all times in case. Alex warned me about how cold it was too and I know now he was not lying. I have a Toyota Camry and the original stock muffler had no sound. these guys did a resonator delete and added a new muffler to my car and it sounds so great. on top of that they added one of the nicest exhaust tips that brought the look all together. The crossover tube on my stainless Borla true catback exhaust was damaged and leaking, making my ride sound like an old beater. Mota is just down the street from me, so I popped in today and asked if they could help me out. Within 2 minutes it was up on the rack and the gentleman (didn't get his name, I feel bad) showed me leak, cleaned up my failed attempt to clamp/patch the damage, and suggested we weld it so it stays solid. For much less than buying/installing a new H-pipe, I was welded up airtight and back on solid ground within 20mins. It sounds mean again, and I am stoked. THANK YOU for taking me as a walk-in and doing a fantastic job fixing my issue. Also, the waiting room and shop area are super clean and customers are asked to wear masks. I found my new local shop.
