They also work through my Car Max warranty, which is very helpful because they will handle all of the paperwork and order the parts needed. Roberto, the owner, is great to work with. The whole process is very streamlined--you can either pre-book an appointment or walk in, and they provide clear details and estimates upfront. They also keep you updated throughout the work with photos and videos, which is really helpful. In the end, the pricing felt reasonable. The only minor downside was the assessment charge--I think it could have been discounted if you go ahead with the recommended service. 100% solid shop. Brought in for a check engine light and stuff went downhill fast. After spending days on proper diagnosis they recommended to tow the vehicle to the dealer so warranties work would be certified. Terrible customer service ! Not only did Ricardo refuse to do the work he stated that if I did not pick up today he would leave it outside with the front hood open . (See picture) I am a 41 year old women and who treats there customers that way? Also, upon my arrival I see Ricardo and team drinking beer while on the job, really is this happening? (See picture). Now I know why he was rude and inconsiderate. I warn anyone taken there vehicle here if you want a bad job/repair take it here and waste your money . I already spent thousands of dollars and the vehicle is still not running in a drivable condition. I had to close my hood since they refused to close for me and as a women this is very inconsiderate being treated this way . I recently had an experience at 10 Degree Automotive, and I must say it was extremely disappointing. I took my car in for a diagnostic check, hoping to get an accurate assessment of the problem. However, I was shocked to discover that the technicians seemed more interested in making a profit than providing an honest evaluation. Despite my car's warranty being expired, I expected a thorough diagnosis based on their expertise. Unfortunately, it became apparent that they lacked the integrity to admit their mistake. Instead, they conveniently found a $4,000 issue with my vehicle, which I suspect was exaggerated to maximize their profit. What frustrated me the most was their lack of honesty and compassion. Rather than acknowledging their error, they failed to take responsibility for their actions. It's disheartening to encounter such a lack of professionalism and human decency. I strongly advise others to be cautious when considering 10 Degree Automotive for their car needs. Based on my experience, their commitment to honest service and customer satisfaction leaves much to be desired. One more thing the mechanic that diagnosed the problem was Israel! Do not trust him! I have been coming to this shop for the last six years that I have lived in Corona. Ricardo is always honest and works with you on pricing. I decided to buy a Jeep Wamgler and unfortunately took it somewhere else that seized my engine doing a simple oil change. I went back-and-forth with that company for about three months before they finally listened to me and I took it to Ricardo. He fixed immediately. They put in another engine and fixed all the electrical issues that were caused by the seized engine. They are a great honest shop and I highly recommend them. Amazing service and prices, what a pleasant experience, greatly exceeded my expectations

I wrote a review about 9 months ago, but was "nice" BC I didn't want to hurt Ricardo's business. This is the real review, and I'm really crusty after staying up all night after having to heli-coil yet another bolt hole. My wife and I bought a "Carfax" used car in Riverside, the motor blew after 2 months, and the dealer said I had to use 10 Degrees or he would not honor the warranty. This because he said "He's easy to talk down on the repair price". Not my agenda. They wanted to do junk-yard motor, I said no and ordered a remanufactured motor. Gave Ricardo carte blanche on replacing old sensors, mounts, rubber, anything. Asked them to bolt on a set of "shorty" headers. Happened to be there the day they were starting the motor change. Ricardo called me over to show me where the car had been in a crash. The subframe under the front end was bashed in front and back, like they had hit some giant rock. Transmission mount was broken. He said he would replace the transmission mount, I said the subframe must also be replaced, he said the dealer would not fix this (CARFAX, remember). I said this would mess up the entire steering geometry. He asked if it made alignment, I said yes, what he said next shocked me so much, immediately after we talked I went to my wife, told her, then wrote it down as to never forget. Every person I've told this story could not believe it. Ricardo's quote: "Well maybe you should learn the subject, so the next time you question the mechanic, you know what you're talking about" So here's a rundown on stuff I have had to fix, because of 10 Degrees sloppiness or disregard: 1. At 3500 miles, thought I'd pull the spark plugs, see how they were burning. Champion specified, .46 gap. 10 of the plugs were wayyy off, like .07 to .10, others varying but still less than factory. 12 out of 16 wrong. (Minor but had to mention) 2. At 1 month, the oil pan started leaking (remember under the car damage). Called 10 Degrees, was told if it wasn't their fault, I would have to pay for the work. Said hell with them, hired a mechanic to install a newly-purchased pan, cost me $600. And yes, the pan was slightly belt, enough to cause the leak. 3. The headers? I think they waited until the motor was in the car because they complained how tight it was. WRONG! Shorty, snug-fitting headers. I know how tight, had them off twice because: I guess they were upset, and didn't follow the specific and very cautious bolt tightening procedure. "Gorilla'd" them on. Aluminum block, steel bolts. Well guess what? They stripped 9 of the 17 exhaust bolt holes. This has caused me about a hundred hours tightening and/or fixing, heli-coiled 6 holes (make that 7 after last night), 2 holes by a shop after I tried but couldn't do. Because they didn't put on the snug headers first? Really? Hey Ricardo, what's a hundred hours worth to you? Heli-Coils, $40, gaskets $45, shop repairs $500. And I know this hell still isn't done. You M-F. 4. Oh, and the subframes? The car MAKES ALIGNMENT, lasts about a month. I have "lifetime alignments" at 3 shops. Rough on the tires. This has cost us around $1500 plus my time, still isn't repaired. Ricardo, maybe YOU should learn the subject, so you know what you're talking about. 5. There's other nit stuff like the dent in my trunk, not there when I delivered the car, but the hell with this. read more

Worst service and customer service ever!! I had a motor replaced and after 500 miles the engine light went on . I took it back to the shop and they were not able to see it until the next day . The next day in the afternoon they stated that even though it is a motor issue it is not covered under warranty which does not make any sense. We paid $4000 and these crooks took the money and will not back up there work . If you want your money to go to waste and be ripped off take your car here . Ricardo is the worst manager for not backing up his work which he will eventually understand that quality of work and great customer service will make a business prosper . Ricardo is the man! I needed to get a pre-purchase auto inspection at the last minute. Ricardo told me to come on down. He thoroughly inspected the 2008 Scion XD I brought in. I visited the shop with the salesman from the dealership. Before starting the inspection, Ricardo asked the salesman if there was anything he wanted to disclose. He also told me does inspections for local dealers and tells them if a customer comes in with the car, he'll point out any needed repairs if the dealer hasn't done them. He's definitely a straight shooter! He found a small oil leak that the dealer didn't disclose, too! Ricardo used to be a mechanic at a Toyota dealership, too. That put me at ease because Scions are Toyotas. He explained everything to me and was extremely professional. I wouldn't hesitate to take my car to his shop for service in the future. read more
