The 1st time I thought all went well, until when he had the car delivered, on the receipt was stamped 6 mos warranty! Well, after I authorized him to repair the transmission....he said that he would give me a 1 year warranty. When I asked him about the 6 mos warranty stamp, he said "no worries they made a mistake....I will honor 1 year." I paid him $3,200 for the job. WHO in their right mind would agree to only a 6 mos warranty after paying that much?! So, the car ran well for about 7 months, then transmission went out. I called him, and had the car towed back over there. He said that " you know it's out of warranty, but I will see what I can do". So now he forgets about what he initially told me! So, he kept my car for another 6 mos......dodging all of my calls, and making up B.S. excuses about why my car wasn't ready! When I got the car back he told me that he would not give me a new warranty! The car ran for another few months....then transmission went out again! Smh SAVE YOUR MONEY AND TIME! Oh, and he must know someone over here at YELP, because he had my 2 prior reviews taken down! Smh

He was very kind but direct and showed me what the possible problem could be based on the age of the car, sound and fumes. But he made it clear he would need to use the lift to confirm. He was apologetic he couldn't take care of it right away due to their current workload so I took it in the next week, and in the same day it was ready for pick up. He was right, it was the part he thought but instead of a crack it was fully broken in half! Luckily, he is a welder and I didn't need to buy a new piece. I just came back from my trip and I was still recovering from Jetlag so I decided to try mobile service and I found Raul on yelp and oh boy, did he come fast to the rescue! Don't be fool by the cover people, Raul is polite and respectful and I am glad that I was able to get help from him. So he looked at the under hood and said it was an alternator problem. So we bought the alternator from local AutoZone and he was able to replaced it like within 2 second. lol... Also, the cool part was, he bought his home boy aka his cousin or nephew (sorry it's been awhile) and was teaching him.. man I wish I had a cousin like Raul. Anyway, after 8 months, car is running like a new, so far so good with no big issue. But lately, being hot summer in Riverside, I do notice when I try to break with AC on full blast or when I try to turn the wheel while engine is in idle mode, car starts to shake which was not there before. This is by far the best place to come to get your car worked on. Very reasonable pricing and very honest mechanics. Customer service is also really good. They can fix just about anything on your car. From getting your smog done to even getting your engine replaced. They are happy to show you what's wrong with your car and will even show you the damaged parts. They're also honest when telling you what needs to be replaced and how much longer you have before you should consider getting the work done. Like I said, very honest mechanics. When getting an oil change they include tire rotation at no cost and will check your entire car for any problems regardless if the check engine light is on or not. I recommend requesting Roger for any problems with your car. Great attitude and lots of experience with cars. As far as smog, Manny is the smog guy to go to. Also great personality and will help you as much as possible to pass your car if it doesn't by doing a tune-up and such. Also you do not have to pay for the certification if you do not pass smog. They're pretty busy, but walk-ins are definitely welcome and they will try their best to squeeze you in as soon as possible if not you can always make an appointment too, works great with my hectic schedule! read more

They had my car for 3 months.. dragged it on for weeks and weeks and never answered a single phone call. When they finally said it was ready and running great, I went to pick up the car and the car had a dead battery, no gas, and brakes were seized. How could it have been running great earlier that morning? So I had to leave and another few weeks of little communication go by, and finally the car is ready again. I drove it for a couple weeks, and the carburetor they replaced is leaking badly. They promised a 1 year warranty on their work, but have been ignoring me ever since I paid. These guys are amazing, they are like the uber eats of the auto industry. I messaged them on Yelp and they quickly responded. My BMW was not starting after I had taken my car to the BMW dealership twice in the last 6 months for the same issue, Roger the lead technician knew exactly what was wrong with my car and was up and running for a fraction of the dealership prices and you know when you car is running right and not, let me tell you I haven't had any issues Since. So after deciding to finally ditch my families go to mechanic all the way in Garden Grove, I came to Manny and Roger at Arco Smog Pros. So far I have gotten a few oil changes, brake job, and even a tire repair. Not only was my brake job a steal, they replaced an air filter free of charge. They can get pretty packed so I usually call and find a time where they dont have much going on. They are very friendly so it is never a hassle talking or dealing with them. Roger recommended changing out hoses that looked old but had no issues. A week after he replaced the hoses my car leaked all the radiator fluid due to lose hoses not being tightened. I should have told him to leave them as is as they were working fine before he got his hands on them. Like the old saying goes " if it ain't broken dont fix it" Roger seems to recommend services for your car which are not needed. Please be careful and only fix what's broken. read more

The 1st time I thought all went well, until when he had the car delivered, on the receipt was stamped 6 mos warranty! Well, after I authorized him to repair the transmission....he said that he would give me a 1 year warranty. When I asked him about the 6 mos warranty stamp, he said "no worries they made a mistake....I will honor 1 year." I paid him $3,200 for the job. WHO in their right mind would agree to only a 6 mos warranty after paying that much?! So, the car ran well for about 7 months, then transmission went out. I called him, and had the car towed back over there. He said that " you know it's out of warranty, but I will see what I can do". So now he forgets about what he initially told me! So, he kept my car for another 6 mos......dodging all of my calls, and making up B.S. excuses about why my car wasn't ready! When I got the car back he told me that he would not give me a new warranty! The car ran for another few months....then transmission went out again! Smh SAVE YOUR MONEY AND TIME! Oh, and he must know someone over here at YELP, because he had my 2 prior reviews taken down! Smh
