Brian was super helpful getting me scheduled, and Chris took great care of the car once it was in. The whole thing was done fast, priced fairly, and Chris, who helped me throughout was genuinely friendly, not in a "we're trying to sell you something" way, just good people. I've been looking for a trustworthy go-to shop in the Corona area for a while now, and I think I finally found it. Brought my car to another shop closer to make house cause B & D was closed Saturday. I panicked about my leaks. Other shop told me I needed several repairs done to my 2008 Mustang costing about $3,863. One was to rebuild my transmission which B & D did in 7/2024. Right there I knew something was wrong. I went and picked my car up. I called on Monday, spoke to Brian asking prices from his shop of what I needed done. Plus about what the other shop said on my transmission. Take my car in and B & D, they went inspected my car ( No Charge) and both things the other shop said needed done was completely wrong. I was questioning Brian a few times about if I really didn't need 1 repair the other shop said I did. My sister & brother in law owns an auto repair shop in New Jersey 60 years and she was telling me what to ask. What made me feel super comfortable was when Brian said, "I am not going to let you leave my shop in an unsafe car". Brian could have said I needed it done and take my money but He did not! B&D go above and beyond the call of duty to make sure the service they deliver is second to none. While my visits have consisted entirely of routine maintenance thus far I would not hesitate to bring more complicated issues to their doorstep were the need to arise. For reference I have an older model Lexus, yes I know they are built like tanks and require very little if treated well (that's why I purchased the vehicle). Nevertheless, I visited for the first time I approached with the usual skepticism that one does when meeting a new auto mechanic the first time, we've all had our negative experiences and entering gun shy is par for the course. Bryan immediately put my fears to rest and walked me through a plan to keep this vehicle rolling for another half a million miles. All this and a first service that went over every aspect of the car including far more than just wat any run of the mill OBD-II scanner could draw up at a price that was quite reasonable for the labor involved in completing the work. Emailed owner about a week ago to give him an opportunity to respond before I post my review. Did not have the decency to respond to my email so here is my post: "Bryon, two weeks ago, from yesterday, August 16th, I drove in to your service center to see about replacing my three inside door handles which were broken on my 1995 Toyota Corolla. Jason told me they can be fixed and that he would call me back same day to confirm he could order the parts. Later that day he called and said he was ordering the parts, and we confirmed an appointment at 9am, Saturday, August 16. He asked if I could leave the car there and I said no that I would wait for it even though he said it make take an hour. I arrived at your service center yesterday, August 16 at 8:50am and went into the office. Jason asked me if I could leave the car, again, I told him no, that I was going to wait for it since I didn't have a ride. He said, ok and told me it will take about an hour. I said fine. After an hour went by, Jason said he was waiting for the parts. I didn't understand why because my appointment was made weeks in advance, and he told me he had ordered the parts. My car sat in the parking lot for almost two hours before it was pulled into an empty bay. There were two empty bays ever since I first arrived. No other cars were being serviced except one over the two-hour timespan I was there. At approximately 10:30am, my car was finally pulled into one of the bays and it took only 15-20 minutes for the mechanic to repair two of the doors. Jason came back and told me that I would have to come back at 1:15 for them to do the third car door (because he didn't have the third part). I had to wait almost two hours for the car, not because it was being worked on but because he was waiting for the parts to be delivered. Had he ordered the parts as promised, I would not have had to wait two hours, and it did not take an hour to replace the door handles especially when there was very little business that day. When I came back at 115pm, I waited another 20 minutes before they replaced the third car door which only took 5 minutes. I wasted two hours of my time which I will never get back. During the time I was there, I wasn't even offered water, a decent chair to sit (you only have uncomfortable stool-type chairs). My back suffered greatly from waiting so long and I wasn't even given an apology nor discount. I was charged close to $200 for the repair when I discovered from another mechanic that he could have done the complete job for $125 (had he had the parts ahead of time). He said it would have only taken him 30 minutes at the most. I was going to let this go and not send you an email, but I have been taken advantage before (many times). By reading all your positive reviews I thought your service center would have been better than most. read more

I recently moved to Corona and I've had to bring my car is several times. It's an older Honda civic so it has the regular maintenance issues. They never over sell me. They're always honest with me about what my car needs. And they work with my work schedule. Their pricing is fair and they're good people. Brian and Chris are both extremely helpful. One part in my car that needed to be replaced ended up being a bad part (fault of the manufacturer not their) I brought my car back in and they had it replaced for free right away. I'm a young female and I've had plenty of automotive shops try to take advantage assuming I know nothing. But this is a shop full of honest people who do honest work. B&D is what any business should be: an honest shop that does what it promises to do. Took my Jeep to B&D after "repair" by my local Jeep dealer left it overheating worse than before. Brian told me he would inspect the Jeep and showed a list of all the items included in their exam. He said he'd give me a call the next day. True to his word, he called me told and me what he'd found, and itthat would take a day. The estimate was reasonable and I got the call the following morning to come get the car. I expected to be handed the keys to the car and go on my way--as is the norm. But Brian walked me around the car explained what had been done and why, which included replacing the radiator. Without my asking, he invited me to the back of the shop and showed me the old radiator, explaining why it had to be replaced. Support this shop... you won't regret it! read more

My Honda Pilot requires timing belt change. Called Honda dealer for price quote and never got respond. Called another shop in Chino, very friendly response but surprisingly high price quote. Simply say they adds something unnecessary. When called B&D, Brian told me what my car really needs to do. The result is, fair price, quick job, and very happy to let him take care my car. Brian and Chris are the most honest people I've met in a long time. My daughter had to have her car towed to their shop because it broke down on her way home from San Diego. She said the check engine light was on so we had them check it out. Turns out, she simply ran out of gas. Chris didn't even want to charge me for the gas he put in her car to test it.
