He dismissed the request without meaningful discussion and ended the interaction abruptly. Within minutes, I returned ready to move forward with pricing on new tires. His response--"we're the biggest tire company in America, chances are we have it"--was delivered with a level of condescension that was both unnecessary and unprofessional. I wasn't questioning your inventory; I was asking for a quote. It's not a riddle. I asked again, simply, for a quote. I was then told to wait in the lobby. Despite having a 12:00 appointment, I sat waiting while he proceeded to assist multiple walk-in customers who arrived after me. After nearly an hour with no follow-up, no communication, and no acknowledgment, I left. Just an extended lesson in how little my time mattered. I contacted American Tire Depot immediately after. Within five minutes, they confirmed availability, provided pricing, and offered same-day service--everything this visit failed to deliver. Efficient, respectful, and refreshingly free of ego. This experience was defined by dismissiveness, poor communication, and a clear lack of respect for a paying customer's time. It was defined by condescension, poor communication, and a surprising resistance to simply doing the job. If the goal was to lose a customer, mission accomplished. I will never be returning.

For a 6-quart oil change, that's nowhere near the extra $40 I was charged. To be fair, the service itself was still quick and efficient as usual. But using current world events as justification for what feels like excessive up charging doesn't sit right with me. Loyal customers deserve honesty and fair pricing.

My family and I had spent a wonderful week at the beach and were driving home to Arizona when our van suddenly started overheating. We had already stopped at a gas station to check the fluids, so we knew this was something that needed to be repaired before we attempted the drive home, and since it was a Saturday afternoon, we started searching for a garage that was open. By chance, we chose J's Garage--and we could not have made a better choice. We pulled in around 10:00am and explained our situation to J. Even though he and his team already had a bay full of cars to work on, they immediately pulled our heavily loaded van into the shop and checked it out. They quickly discovered that the problem was the thermostat, gave us a very reasonable estimate, and told us they expected to have it finished by 1:30. We were thrilled, but honestly, had been preparing ourselves for the possibility that we might have to find a couple of hotel rooms for the weekend because most shops are closed on Sunday. There were five of us, including my 82-year-old mom, and we were all standing outside in the heat. J himself came out, brought extra chairs into the air-conditioned waiting room, and told us to make ourselves comfortable. There was a movie on for us to watch, and he even gave us recommendations for some great Mexican restaurants in the area. We were planning to take him up on that recommendation and grab lunch around noon--but we never got the chance! Jay and his team worked incredibly quickly. Our van was repaired, and we were back on the road by 11:30 am--only about an hour and a half after arriving! J and his lovely wife were incredibly kind and welcoming throughout the entire experience. The repair cost was extremely reasonable, the service was fast and professional, and they treated us like people rather than just another repair order. And, as an added bonus, we got to watch "Back to the Future" while we waited! A vehicle breakdown on a road trip--especially with a fully loaded van, five people, an elderly family member, and a long drive still ahead--could have turned into a complete nightmare. Instead, J's Garage turned it into the best breakdown experience we have ever had. Thank you, Jay, your wife, and your entire team, for taking such good care of our family when we were in a bind. Your kindness, honesty, reasonable prices, and incredibly fast service made all the difference.

Just…read morerecently, I took my car in January to repair the clutch actuator in my hybrid and they took 4 months to complete the repair after trial and error. They took on a bigger project than they were qualified for, damaging a part after another, eventually replacing the hybrid battery and transmission. They always had an excuse pushing the deadline on every single inbound call. After applying daily pressure on them on a continuous basis , I finally received my car in April, however, the shop still owes me $583 for one of the car rentals they told me to purchase. I kept calling to retrieve the money but they didn't keep their word and denied paying me back. I could have easily placed a lien on the business for $583 with all the proof to retrieve my money but you know my good heart didn't follow through. Instead, writing this review will sting bigger and is the least I can do for the people. Im an easy going guy but after going through this extensive car repair, we decided to pull away from doing any future business for the wrong doing and unprofessionalism of their actions. I believe it's only right for everyone to hear about this and avoid what I went through, therefore, save yourself a headache. The owner is not a man of his word. This will bake in slowly. P.S. I also have screenshots, messages, and documents in case they want to lie and deny the truth.

Hector, Oscar and everyone at Lalo's are just great. They really helped me out of a jam a few years ago - stayed open late on a Sat on a phone call to help a total stranger with a flat tire who had an emergency need to drive 100 miles away. Been going to them ever since for tires, oil changes and repairs. A mom and pop business who loves the Lord and shows it in how they live. Can't thank them enough for being so awesome! February 2024 took car in for nearly $4,000 preventative maintenance and suspension repairs including new struts and rear shocks. Just over 12,000 miles and 17 months later took my car back as the handling was feeling very unstable when I drive over bumps. I was advised the struts they replaced prior were covered under mananufacturer lifetime warranty, I would just pay labor and was given estimate for over $700. I questioned this as they advertise 24 months/ 24,000 miles warranty on repairs on their website. They replied to me it's only 12 months or 12,000 miles whichever comes first. I contacted Tire Pros corporate warranty center and they confirmed the struts would be covered under the 24 month/24,000 warranty. I had the struts replaced elsewhere as I do not trust this facility.
