I have a Honda vehicle and I guess I needed some sort wheel lock key to get my wheel fixed because i had a flat... well I didn't have the key on me... so they took initiative and somehow managed to get the wheel off without damaging the wheel locks and my car was done in about 20 min. The problem with other shops is that after getting aligned, I need to go into the software and adjust for the offset. My boyfriend's tire fell off of the wheel that he got replaced from this tire company a few weeks ago. We were on our way home on a road trip in 115 degree heat and the tire literally came off and we were driving on the rim. They refused to do anything because there's no warranty on a used tire which is ridiculous. Do not get a used tire from this company. They will price gouge you and won't do anything to assist you after their faulty work :) read more

I came for a tire alignment after having new front struts assembly for driver and passenger, camber bolt for front strut assembly, new rear shocks and rear upper control arm with camber adjustment installed on my car I would assume that part of checking alignment and adjusting camber requires to loosen necessary bolts and upon completion to double check that all bolts that's are part of alignment parts are secure I brought my car home to replace the lug nuts on the tires because I have special lug that can be a pain to work with if you aren't familiar. I tend to put on lug nuts that are easier for mechanics to work with before taking it to the shop. Putting back on the old lug nuts allow me the opportunity to inspect shop works if possible depending on job And this is what I found. A bolt to my front strut assembly that was loose enough that I could spin by hand As a paying customer I should have faith that the job is done correctly. If Iam able to catch this, how many other customers have this happened to and they have kept driving their car for hundred or thousands of miles?. This would essentially put their customers and other motorists lives on the road at stake. Pay for a service and then most likely having to get it re-done because it was not done properly the first time. That is if you still having a working car to bring it back to the shop Don't think I will be returning to this shop and fair warning to others. I have no intentions of faking a review to get a refund. If I had the money and space then I would have the equipment to do the alignment job myself at home. read more

I went in to buy a used tire because I was using a the spare from a previous flat tire. I chose this place for convenience. Once they replaced my tire, I noticed my rim was scratched up from removing the rim but didn't want to say anything - just glad they had my tire size available. Now just 1 month later, the same tire is low again. There was a chunk missing from my tire and I couldn't recall hitting anything until I had someone take a look and told me the tire this place sold to me was old/ dry (probably sitting in the sun for a while) and started cracking apart. Now I had to replace this tire again elsewhere. It makes sense why they used the tire shine to make it look in "better" condition. Not coming here again! Check any used tires before purchasing if you go here! read more

I picked up a set of factory acura 20 inch wheels and tires without the tpms sensors so I basically need the tpms sensors removed from my current 18 inch wheels and installed on my new wheels simple as that no tires or sensors needed from them and the quoted me $120! JUST FOR LABOR! I thought it was steep so I went down a few businesses to my mechanic at 10 degrees and he told me that was a very steep price. It should be a $70 to $90 job max! I've been here before and the guys seems to charge based on what you drive not profesional at all. Go to lalo's tires in el Cerrito for better prices not these crooks... Update: I came to Lalo's tires on Temescal canyon Rd the next day and they charged me a total of $90. Lalo's tires is the place to go. read more

Had a flat from a nail. Called around to several places and there were 2-3.5 hr waits to patch a hole. Drove up to Hugo's - one of the mechanics met me at my car and looked and my flat gave me my options within 3min he had taken my tire to patch. In total took about 15-20 min from driving up to driving out for my patch from nail to be completed. Was inexpensive and quick ! read more

DO NOT RECOMMEND THEY STOLE TWO OF MY TIRES! Hugo's tires which also goes by "Hugo's auto repair" , Should not be trusted working on anyone's vehicle. I was hesitant to leave my truck from the beginning but giving Raúl the benefit of the doubt and trusting him with my Truck I left it there so the back brakes could be fixed. While working on it he decided that he wanted my two name brand Michelin Tires. He Stole not just one but BOTH of my back Michelin tires while working on my back breaks and replace them with two off brand used tires as if I wouldn't notice. I gave Raúl the opportunity to fix the issue but instead he insisted on arguing over the phone and not take accountability for his actions, I'm sure he does this a lot. read more
