Total Auto Care has some totally awesome customer service. I don't normally recommend businesses but Total Auto Care is worth noting. I went in for an oil change. They were tentative to the needs of the car. Frank was knowledgeable and helpful. The entire team were kind. Pleasant with good attitudes. Thanks read more

Frank and Alex! You guys are awesome! Midas wanted to charge me $1800 for parts and labor with a warranty. You guys got me out the door for the same situation for under 900. I have nothing but great things to say about you guys and appreciate the transparency. noteworthy, I explained to Frank that Midas was charging me three times more than what the cost of parts were. Frank said that I could provide my own parts but that would negate me getting any type of warranty. I decided to pay an additional $175 baked into the cost of my parts. One great thing to mention is that Frank and Alex did not need to replace a few parts, so it really worked out to being close to even, we had discussed initially the job costing about $1000 and I was prepared to pay. This goes to show you that Frank and Alex are running an honest business. Shop small because even small things add up! Take it easy fellas! read more

If you are looking for an honest mechanic at a fair price and the job done right, look no further. Frank and Total Auto Care take away the worry and concern about car repairs. I cannot recommend them highly enough. read more

Quick, kind and great value! Tom retired but these guys who bought the business are just as amazing and so kind. Weeks ago they did a free inspection on my VW car when the battery died to verify there was no issues with it. And then today they took care of my Ford Truck. They special ordered the Interstate battery I needed and got us back on the road but while we waited they kindly spoiled my little girls with treats and let them change the TV channel to cartoons. Their kindness and attention to detail on vehicle repairs is why I will continue to give them my business for years to come! read more

Frank did a lot of work on my 90s Chevy Tahoe. When I needed some help post picking my car up, he went above and beyond to make it right. He's a stand up business owner that gives great customer service and made a long time customer with me. read more

I used to go to Mountain View Tires, but not anymore. Tom is an honest mechanic that you can trust and here is why: I dropped off my 2010 Honda Minivan because it was making noises, but Tom did not find any problems after 2 days so he told me the truth and did not charge me. Most auto places would have made up some kind of problems or at least tried to charge some fee. In fact, that is the very reason why I stopped going to Mountain View Tires (they seem to always find some kind of problems with my car every time I went in for an oil change...). Tom went the extra mile and fixed the radio too while he was inspecting the car. I had a long drive to Idyllwild that weekend and the boy scouts certainly appreciated having a working radio. All these may seem trivial, but they are testament to Tom's character. I highly recommend Tom if you are looking for an honest mechanic in the Eastvale / Norco area. read more

Excellent and honest service. What more can you want from your mechanic. Thank you Tom and Steve.

Best shop in town to take your vehicles too, Tom is trustworthy and honest. No BS. Always see it busy with cars and parts delivered by NAPA. Good shop. read more

Tom is amazing! Takes the time to check out your car properly and is very honest with what he tells you your car may or MAY NOT need. Would recommend Tom to anyone if you want a good honest job done. read more

Great mechanic. Honest and reasonable. Not cheap but does quality work and does not take short cuts. He informs you as much as possible before he begins work so there's no surprises. Tom the owner is usually always there. Unless he's out doing a test drive or something. I Highly recommend his business. read more

OK, sounds like this guy walks on water... He may, but I have never needed him to do that, just work on my cars. This he does very well and honestly. Tom and crew have are the only ones who have worked on my cars for 14+ years. Timing belts, break jobs, water pumps, CV joints, CV boots, Maintenance Checks and oil changes. I have never had to take back any repair job. Take it there. You won't be sorry. read more

As a woman I used to think that only my husband could take the cars in so I wouldn't get "taken for a ride" on costs or repairs etc. But we have been taking both our cars to Tom for 9+ years and I can say with confidence that he is honest and does GREAT work! I can call myself anytime and Tom is not only friendly and knowledgeable but he will go above and beyond for you. I stopped going to the Lexus dealer and getting robbed of my $. I HIGHLY recommend Total Auto Care to everyone! read more

I have been taking my cars to Tom since he was located in Corona. He is not the fastest mechanic, but he is the very best. He is honest and I have never felt as if I received anything less than my money's worth. I recommend this shop to anyone seeking a high quality mechanic. read more

Tom is the BEST!!!! We have taken our older cars to him. He is SO honest! He will tell you the truth even if it means he doesn't make as much money. Going to take our sons car in next week to have him look at it. It's hard to find good, honest mechanics! read more

What can I say to really reflect how absolutely pleased I am with Tom and his crew. First, I brought my truck to them which had an annoying noise when it would turn. I had already taken the truck to another local franchise repair shop in Moreno Valley, and 1500$ later they had no idea how to fix it or what the problem was. I then took it to the Moss Bros Chevy dealer to diagnose which they gave me a 2300$ estimate to replace my leaf springs (the sound as it turned out wasn't even near the rear of the truck). I took it to Tom based on a referral from a friend. It took some time, but Tom pinpointed the problem, and fixed it perfectly. Not only did he fix the actual problem, but along the way he fixed a few other things by tightening anything that seemed loose, even correctly setting tire pressure so that I could have the smoothest ride possible. His final quote was hundreds of dollars less than any other shop I went to. I am completely and thoroughly impressed with his attention to detail, and due diligence for actually diagnosing and fixing the real problem. I would highly recommend him to anyone else, and I will not take any of my vehicles to anyone else. I live 45 miles away from their shop and I strongly believe their service is worth it. read more

Tom has been working on my family's cars for years. He was recommended to my by a friend who's husband is in the auto parts business. He is a straight up guy and he treats his customers with respect. He's fixed things that other shops have messed up. Just as others have mentioned - after getting bad news from another place, Tom looked at the car and realized it wasn't a big deal at all and fixed the problem quickly and at a much lower cost than the original estimate. Give Total Auto Care a try - you won't be disappointed. Nothing fancy, just good, solid, trustworthy service. Can't ask for more from your auto mechanic! read more

Tom is the best, hands down, there is no other repair shop like his. My family and I only take our cars to Tom, he's honest and trustworthy. Ex. my brother was having problems starting his truck and it felt as if it was going to turn off ... well he went to another repair shop and they told him he needed a new transmission .... I told him get a second opinion, take it to Tom ... took it to Tom and he found some lose screws and a wires disconnected (my brother was working on his own car before and didn't do a good job!) , no problem with the transmission at all!!!! His prices are good 2, he doesn't charge an arm and a leg, so take it to Tom..... read more

Everyone knows how difficult it can be to find an honest mechanic that can do the job right. The search ends here. I can't say enough good things about Tom and the guys at Total Auto Care. I have a real good working knowledge of cars and how they work, so when I talked to Tom about mine I knew he wasn't embellishing on anything. Straight forward and honest. Tom and the guys will do what's best for you and your car both. Such a relief to finally find a good reliable and affordable garage. Good job guys! read more

I trust this man whole-heartedly. He is honest....not out to screw you at all. I have been going to Total Auto Care for many, many years. I highly recommend TAC to anyone looking for a new mechanic or a replacement as I did at that time. Tom is one you can trust. He is honest, dependable and very reasonable. Within the many years I've gone to TAC for service, I've had 4 vehicles and all of them have been treated first class. The TAC team are quality based mechanics that take pride in what they do. Thank you all. Drive on... read more

I moved to Corona and my father-in-law referred me to Tom. He is the best mechanic I have ever had work on my cars. I had a clutch replaced some years back, after 3 months it started to make an odd noise when I pushed the clutch pedal. I took it back to Tom and as soon as he heard the sound he knew what it was. He said bad bearing and not to worry it was covered under warranty and there would be no charge. Second experience where others might have tried to screw me over was with my sons car. My son had been checking something under the hood and shorted out the battery and stalled his car. I looked in the fuse box under the hood to see if he had just blown a main fuse. I pulled a bunch of fuses and checked them, put them back when I determined they weren't blown and found nothing wrong. My son tried to start the car again and it started. He drove to San Diego that night with friends and as soon as he got off the freeway the car over heated. He had it towed to a shop the tow truck driver recommended and left it till the morning. They told him they would do a quick check for no charge. Determined that it wasn't leaking and that it was probably in need of a new thermostat and other things and that it would be $500 dollars. I told my son to fill it with coolent get on the freeway immediately and drive straight home knowing the speed on the freeway would keep things cool. He got it home and I took it to Tom and left it. Before I could get 4 blocks away Tom called and told me to come pick it up. When I was checking fuses I had pulled the radiator fan fuse and put it back in a secondary fan fuse spot that was not connected on the model my son had. Tom could have taken advantage and charged me for something, but he is the most honest mechanic you will ever deal with. Can't recommend him enough. read more

Oh ya gotta be kidding me! I'm the first to write a review of this place?! Hands down: Tom Cole is the best. Now this will stop your respiratory function but its true: Tom is honest. !!! Yeah! I know, I know, "impossible" you say. And I thought so too, but that was back before I had taken both vehicles to him for work and oil changes and a major service. He really knows his stuff, he cares about his customers, his customers all rave about him (which is why I cant believe I'm the first to review here). I rarely get to call someplace a best kept secret, but there you are. Now you know. One last tip, while you are there, just step through the door and into the shop for a jaw-dropping experience: the shop floor. Its red---and you could almost eat off it. Yup. And thats how you know everything I have said here is true.....just check out that floor! read more

only selected this mechanic because of these reviews ... New in Norco and seeking a mechanic that is honest, reliable, and quick to fix the problem. Sadly mistaken with this mechanic. He has had my sisters car for 3 days and has still not fixed the problem. Unfortunate for my sister as well as them....We have two other cars that need to been kept up and will continue seeking that reliable, honest mechanic that we did not find here. read more
