I simply said what I was hoping for, an independent inspection from a local mechanic (I live in Los Angeles & traveled out to Norco to look at this car), that I was looking for a used Japanese or Korean car, & my price range. As soon as I shared the name of the dealership (I didn't say anything about my experience or concerns with them, just the name), Kenni said she won't even do business with them, as they sold a used Mustang to her son whose clutch he asked them to fix, because he could tell it needed repair, they refused, and it went out about 800 miles after the warranty he purchased with this used car dealership expired, the clutch then costing $1000 to repair. Kerri also VOLUNTARILY gave me pointers for used cars, sharing that CVT's (Constant Velocity Transmissions, commonly known as Continuously Variable Transmissions) are not as reliable as other transmissions, which helped me narrow my search in cars in my budget. I got quoted on transmission replacements from a few shops and this shop offered full replacement, including mismatched parts, for half the price of any I contacted. If you are having transmission troubles I couldn't, in good conscience, recommended anywhere else but here. From the service, friendly nature, explanation of issues in a way I understood, and letting me have the final say and what repairs to make, there isn't another shop I would ever go for transmission issues. Also took only about 9 days(including weekends) where I didn't have my car. That includes them diagnosing, hunting down a transmission for me, ordering parts, and installing.
