Truck has been to them twice now. First time for a transmission rebuild, once rebuilt with better parts, it came back with new problems like overheating and a leek. Went back to the shop to be corrected, this cost me additional for parts and labor. No longer is it leaking with the added trans cooler and larger trans pan, but it still leeks. I've been trying to get the truck back into the shop to get corrected, but the last two 2-3 day jobs have taken 2-4 weeks each and I can't leave my truck for that amount of time once again. Tried to schedule an appointment, but this shop doesn't seem to have the technology to do so? Front staff was very friendly in person, not so much over the phone now that it's a warranty issue on them. read more

okay so just to be clear i took my 90 chevy suburban for a tranny rebuild cost about 1250 not bad you know but as i drove it out it started acting weird like a spark plug wire was off or something so I parked on the side of the road right outside and I and I started pushing in all of plug wires on the very last one all the way in the back was just placed on as if they pulled it off and just placed it on, so I pushed it back in and never had issues with it again, but that gave me trust issues read more

On 11/20/2024, I paid $5,531.70 to remove, rebuild and replace transmission assembly, engine mount and main seal. Office employee could not figure out how to slide or insert the chip on my Apple card. I had to do it for her, and there was a 3% charge to pay by credit card. After arriving home about 7 miles away, I placed my vehicle in Park and when I came back outside I was unable to shift gears because the gear shift cable disconnected due to the mechanic not attaching it properly. Not what anyone would expect after paying $5,531.70. Horrible recommendation from a great mobil mechanic I use. Will update this post if any additional issues arise. read more

I said I would write an updated review a few months after getting my transmission back and forgot to.... So 4 years later, my transmission is still working just fine. It's still like butter!! We don't drive it daily like we used to.. but we only retired it about 2 years ago. So a year to year and a half or so after the rebuild, we drove it daily..and never had any problems.. the shifting is so much smoother, and clearer as well i feel like.. it's easy to get the shifter all the way into gear, so there's less grinding of the gears. I would take my transmissions here time and time again. I have also referred people here for their transmission problems as well..and will continue to do so! read more

I wanted to wait a few days before I left a review so I didn't completely obliterate this place out of intense frustration without processing my experience. It was awful from the start. I was excited given there were hardly any reviews and they didn't seem like it was a place that would do me dirty, but I was wrong. I called and spoke with Frankie, who at first was super nice and funny, helpful, informative. He told me to call back Friday because they were swamped. Well Friday I forgot and my check engine light came on driving home from work. So I called and left a voicemail. No biggie. First thing Monday morning I called with hopes to drop it off before having to go to work. The woman who answered the phone, was clearly having a bad day. "Hi! My name is Kelly and I left a voicemai..", with a nasty attitude she cuts me off "I haven't checked the voicemails yet", like okay. I was just letting you know to not call me back because I'm here but whatever. I told her my issue and she asked who I spoke with. I said I didn't get a name but he was a nice guy, again she cut me off and said "yeah, they are all guys". She then put me on hold and comes back to let me know she knows who I spoke with. Yeah. Don't care. Rude. I told her never-mind, she clearly doesn't want my business. She back-peddled and I brought my car in anyway. Frankie was waiting for me and actually mentioned that she knew she was rude to me and asked if I could not be mean. So sure, I get it. It's a Monday. I let it go. Dropped it off and they said they'd call me at the end of the day. They never did. I called them and they said they never got to it and would the next day first thing. They didn't. Called again around noon snd they said "hold on. 20 mins" Called my boyfriend back and told him I need a new trans. 5k and 5-6 weeks. I went to pick it up. I got my hair dyed the day I dropped it off, blonde to blue so I looked different. For same attitude from the front desk woman. Nice! Expected. Clearly she's just a crabby woman after all and it wasn't a Monday... Anyway, got a nice run around from Frankie and the manager(?) (Blaus? Idk). The paper he was talking to me from had different numbers he quoted me. Weird. I'm annoyed AF at this point. They think I'm a stupid girl with blue hair. Dope. Yeah, no. I'm not. You're messing with me, a**holes. I asked what the code was when they scanned my car, since the engine light is on....THEY SAID ONE DIDNT COME UP! I'm sorry.. what?? Gtfo. Get your car and go. I then asked for a copy of the paper with the notes and was DENIED. "I typed it up for you. The handwriting is messy."- from Frankie. And all he typed was "informed she needed a new transmission. Quoted 4700$" Oh no no buddy. There was WAY MORE on that paper. I got a scanner myself. Scanned it. I just needed to change some spark plugs. 160$. Did it MYSELF. If you didn't have the time, send me somewhere else. You guys are literally ridiculous. You're doing repairs people don't need. And fire the woman who answers your phones. She's fake and rude. Clearly doesn't know she works in customer service. (And you guys didn't think I'd actually review you on this situation huh??) Oh yeah!!!! My car was parked right where I left it two days before with nothing moved or touched inside. Not even the seat or the volume. Which I leave blasting to see if they actually go inside. Losers. I took my car in for a rebuild they took about a week, I thought was great. Car ran great for about 2 weeks then my torque converter goes out. I call its cover under warranty, I drop it off on a Monday saying its gonna be a days. Call Wednesday not ready couple more days. Call friday not till Monday or tuesday. My car is in there longer for the torque converter then the actual rebuild. Never going back again. Most places you go to if you bring something back you become priority. It's not the fact that something happened I wont be back it's how they handled me when I'm under warranty. read more

Never do business with this company, I assumed with them not having any bad reviews and in business for so long I would get great service for our truck. I was beyond wrong and very disappointed in the service we received, I had a rebuilt engine done here. I dropped it off on a Monday the following week (Thursday) I call to see if I can be given any information about my truck (the manager) said we haven't opened it up yet but its not changing gears so your insurance approved service. On Monday morning I rec a call pick up our truck its ready with no reason on what is wrong with the truck I pick it up and asked what they did he said rebuild transmission, as soon as I change gears I hear an awful noise. I pulled over and asked what that noise was he said maybe Shaft? I didn't know what a shaft was so I said ok.... I drive home with kids in truck we break down! right in traffic me, 2,5,8,11 year old kids are scarred not sure what's wrong... its my u joints they were severely damaged. # this company failed to tell me # I could have had an accident/ car flip due to the size of vehicle and how bad this part is. # $300.00 out of my pocket to repair it and this company denies they noticed how damaged the part is. # they removed this part and placed it back with no hesitation.... knowing I could have been in a serious accident. no apology and my insurance would have covered this issue? makes me wonder if they really did the job. DO NOT COME TO THIS FACILITY. FYI THEY ARE NOT ON BBB BUT I WILL BE SURE TO MAKE A COMPLAINT. JUST BECAUSE I AM A WOMAN DOES NOT GIVE THEM THE RIGHT SERVICE I DESERVE AS A PAYING CUSTOMER. I have an older Ford econo van that wasn't shifting into park. My van is all decked out for handicap accessibility; wheel chair lift, hand controls and a driver's seat that turns around so I can transfer into it from my wheelchair. That being said, most places get a little overwhelmed and dont even want to look at it. I get all sorts of excuses as to why they wont work on it, no matter the issue. Its annoying AF. I called the one place I know that isn't afraid to to do some maintenance on my van (Friendly Automotive Service Technicians (F.A.S.T.)) and described the problem, they said it was most likely a transmission issue, so I panick thinking that I wouldn't be able to find any place that would look at it. They recommended Luke's Transmission. I am so glad they did. I took it in to these guys and after about 30 minutes they brought it back. I was informed that it wasn't the transmission but something with the steering column wearing out due to the age of the car, but adjustments were made that now allow the van to shift into park! Best part about it? They didn't charge me! I'm not saying that they'll do all work for free. What I'm saying is this shop has integrity. A quality that is hard to find these days. PS. I got a warranty on my transmission, it broke again after they fixed it the first time, under warranty you can bring it back no charge so I did that, but it doesnt make sense I have to wait over a week for something they didnt properly fix, I dont jusyt have another car or a bunch of ppl who wana take me back and forth from work, it's very inconvenient for me. In sales if something is broken or not right you take care of that customer right away when it breaks. People who bring their car back in because it was not properly fixed should be first to be fixed again not held off on. read more

Dropped my car off on Monday (05/11/16) for a rebuild because my second and fifth gears were popping out. Went in and Dave said I would get a parts quote in a couple days. Couple days passed by, nothing! Gave them more than a week with no reaponse so I called them on Thursday (05/19/16). Dave said they were about to open up my transmission after almost two weeks of having my car at their shop. Got everything settled and my car was finally ready on Friday (05/27/16). Went into the shop about 20 minutes before they closed and my car was parked against the wall ready to go, all I had to do was go into the office, pay, get my key back and I was ready to go. I got into the car about to leave when my boyfriend notices a huge dent on my car on the side that was against the wall. Had he not been there, i would have drove off the lot and who knows if they would have accepted responsibility for the damage. We confronted Dave about the dent and he said it had happened five days ago when one of the guys tried to lift my car to put it on the ramp and he put his weight on it but he forgot to mention it. He told me to come back on Tuesday (since Monday was a holiday and they don't open on the weekends) and he would have the body shop next door try to take it out and if not, they would pay for the repairs. Tuesday (05/31/16) came around and I took my car to the body shop, they got most of the dent out but told me to come back tomorrow and they would have it fixed. I went after work and my car was finally ready... again. Looked ok but I can still see two small dents and my quarter panel is really fragile now. A couple days passed by and I noticed another hit on the bottom of my door. I took a picture of my car the day I dropped it off and that dent/scratch was not there. Nothing was written on the invoice as far as damages that they did to my vehicle. I brought my car here because they had good reviews about their work, which they do. My transmission is working good so far but the damage they caused to my car is unacceptable! It's the first and last time I take my car to a shop. read more

good and quick service on rebuilding my transmission on my 2004 trailblazer . price little high but worth it.

I had my 07 honda accord v6 automatic towed and my transmission rebuilt here (they used new.parts, kept the hard parts and casing). It was pretty obvious when my tranny gave out... Work was quick, took a week and everything runs excellent, everything shifts like butter. Only thing was my 3rd gear pressure sensor kept making my D light on my car blink. Now it went away so thats good. Gaz is a cool guy who does honest work. John the mechanic I believe, worked on my accord. Opted for the 3 yrs or 36k warranty for $200 more. They had to replace my mounts as well. Total to repair was 3 grand w/ warranty which is optional. Standard warranty was 6mo. Or 12k miles i believe. Go here instead of AAMCO in riverside. Buyer beware: AAMCO does shady work, all the tow truck drivers know. Deuces read more

I went in with my son on Friday (day after Thanksgiving) so that he can have his truck transmission checked. They test drove it and put in on the rack to check the fluid level. Afterwards, they refused to charge us anything! Said they didn't feel right because it wasn't that much trouble (it took at least half and hour).
