I've been here twice now in the past month and honestly can't say enough good things about Tiger and his crew. First time was for my alternator. Second was for my driver seat (still waiting on the part to come in) while there he noticed I had a flat which I shouldn't have had because a nearby company was supposed to have patched it not 10 minutes earlier. Took care of the tire for me so I felt safe driving back to the previous place and getting my money back for the patch they failed to do. We have been bringing our car to this shop in the past for general maintenance things like AC repair, belts, etc. and find the employees to be kind and polite. Unfortunately, our most recent experience here has changed our opinion of the business and its integrity significantly. We had a clunk in our steering wheel. That can be a lot of things, but based on a bunch of internet searches we thought maybe something was wrong with the tie rods. We brought the car in and Safi Tiger, the manager, said that they would diagnose the issue for free (though we admittedly did sign paperwork that said the diagnosis was $150, but he told me it would be free). We received a call from the shop later that day. They said that the entire steering column needed to be replaced. The repair estimate was $1500 to replace the existing steering column with a used one. We went to pick up the car and explained that we would bring it back later in the month when we had more money. Walli said we needed to pay $150 for the diagnosis. We said that Safi Tiger told me it would be free. He went in back and came back out to explain that they spent all day taking the car apart and diagnosing the steering issue. They told our husband that it was dangerous to drive the car. They said they would take the $150 off the cost of the repair after the work was done. They said that they see this all the time in Hyundais. We paid the $150. We took the car home and did a bunch more internet searching because $1500 is a lot of money and quite honestly, our car is 15 years old and probably only worth about $2300. We are not mechanics, but we are pretty good at Google. We found a video on YouTube which recommended replacing a little piece (flex coupling) in the steering column. Failure of that flex coupling in Hyundais and Kias is apparently not uncommon. Anyway, we followed the YouTube instructions and were able to fix the problem at home with YouTube, general tools, and a part we ordered from Amazon that cost SIX DOLLARS AND TWELVE CENTS. It took all day and was not simple for us, but the car steers perfectly now. No symptoms at all. It doesn't need a $1500 repair at all. The diagnosis we paid $150 for was incorrect. So we went back to the shop today and talked to Safi Tiger. We explained how we fixed the car. At his request, we showed him photos of the work we did in our own driveway, sent him one of the YouTube videos showing how to do the repair, let him get in our car to feel the difference in the steering wheel, and showed him the $6.12 OEM piece we repaired the car with. We said that they should know that it wasn't a $1500 repair job, and that We didn't think it was nice to charge $150 for the diagnosis after saying it was free and subsequently giving an incorrect diagnosis. We hoped that an apology or refund for the incorrect diagnosis would be offered, as we really are pretty naive about things sometimes and thought they'd do what we thought was the right thing. Instead, Safi Tiger said a lot of things: about how most people wouldn't be able to figure the problem out, how most people wouldn't be brave enough to try to fix it themselves, how the mechanic had 40 years of experience, how YouTube wasn't always so helpful for car repair, etcetera etcetera. No apology. No refund. As we were leaving, Safi Tiger told me that when we come in for an oil change next time, he'd give me 50% off. In case it isn't obvious, there will not be a next time. Quite disappointed in a shop we thought was a good one. We apologize for the length of our review, but we hope it saves somebody some money. read more

Straight and Simple: AVOID THIS BUSINESS! I came in for a safety inspection and got a failed result -- fine, I expected that. I fixed all the listed issues and came back for a re-inspection, only to fail again. They claimed problems were still present, even though they had been addressed. For example, there was a nail in the tire -- got that fixed. Now the same tire has marks and needs to be replaced? That's money wasted that could've gone toward a new tire in the first place. I replaced an axle -- now they're saying a different axle needs replacing? This place feels like a scam. They advertise a thorough "2-hour" inspection, yet somehow miss things or conveniently bring up new problems later. Doesn't feel honest. Save your money. Avoid this business at all costs. At first, seems like a reputable business and a Godly one as well with the plaque they have on the wall but do not trust them. About a month ago, I negotiated with Safi for "elite" category brake pads and "gold" category rotors for a price of $440 and he said the squealing and brake noises would go away. After about 2 hours, the car was finally returned to me. I still heard the squealing noises and figured I would give the bedding in process two weeks for it to go away. That same day I notice a new clunking sound when applying the brakes and became concerned because I have never heard my car make that sound. I continued to drive it to see if it would go away and it was still squealing and making this new clunking sound. Before handing them my car, I've never heard of this clunking sound and now after it was in their hands it started to make it. I went today to let them know and they checked it. Now, Safi is blaming my suspension and that the brakes are not the issue. I told him that I have proof from the dealer that the suspension on my car was already replaced and he still denied responsibility for it. Additionally, on the receipt, there are part numbers that are allegedly associated with the parts installed on my car. I told him that I'm going to hire another mechanic to verify that the part numbers match and he said that they would not because they "use a different system". Again, he avoids accountability for his work and said "he had to go". I'm never coming back to this place again and I request that the better business bureau conducts an investigation on this business. There are too many red flags and I don't want this to happen to another member of my community. read more

One rear rotor disk $119.95 One fog light bulb $24.95 The price is 3 times or 4 times higher. Compare to the one which sell at auto zone. One set of two rear rotor $55.99 at Autozone Replace one fog light bulb, one rear light plate light, one rear disk brake on the right without brake pads, inspect brakes and light. My car unfortunately had been misdiagnosed at several locations and still was not fixed. Upon arrival Safi let me know that they would perform the diagnostic tests needed and let me know what the problem with my vehicle was. This place is decent. Had a diagnostic done they came back told me what was wrong with my sensor and also that I needed new rear breaks. Decided to take their recommendation for the brakes and they didn't apply the diagnostic to the break service they recommended so basically I had to pay the diagnosis cost on top of the break job. They did a decent job on the breaks which is pretty hard to screw up in the first place. They couldn't help me with my other problem and I had to take my car elsewhere. All in all I didn't like how they did me on the diagnostic they should have applied that cost to the break service that THEY recommended after diagnosing my vehicles issues.
