Love it! This diner is owned by sunset grill (one of favorite places and right next door to the Beachside Diner). I like their breakfast better than the lunch we had. I ate here last week for breakfast and had a western omelette that came with a biscuit and fruit and quite possibly the best breakfast I've ever had. We went back for lunch and I had the Mahi tacos - not bad a very small portion of fish and overly sweet Asian slaw along with homemade chips - most cooked, some not so much. Good service (better at breakfast for us) Great outside seating and good prices make this a must visit. read more

The family was very impressed with breakfast! My daughter saw the chicken and waffles option but it was with spicy chicken. They gladly offered a non spicy option for her. Beachside Diner is owned by the same team as Sunset Grill next door. This fabulous location did not disappoint for breakfast! Veggie omelette with hash brown casserole (hash browns mixed with cheese and toasted bread crumbs on top=sinful!) The waitstaff is lovely, inside and outside seating is plentiful and squeaky clean. Stopped here on our way from Palm Coast to Jacksonville along A1A. My daughter had the Mikes Hangover and had to share it. Soooooo much food and was delicious with everything on it. The 5star rating is definitely well deserved. We were here on a Monday, pretty busy, they were doing a good job of spreading parties out even with mandates lifted. Our waitress was great, very attentive! They have all the regular breakfast fare with some unique items. We had the spicy chicken and waffle hand held, crispy, white chicken, not too spicy! The hash brown casserole was cheesy and tasty. The corned beef hash had big pieces or corned beef that they make themselves, so good. We also tried the BLTE, BLT add and egg, perfect for someone who doesn't love breakfast foods. Also the iced mocha was rich and creamy. Not a single complaint here, we will be back! read more

I saw this place on the news so we decided to give it a try. We ordered the meatloaf which is advertised being stuffed with cheese, which I never found. The mash potatoes were not hot hot in less you got them mixed in the gravy. First place I've been where a house salad as a side is an up charge. My wife had the bang shrimp, which came cold and had to be sent back. When they did come back they were bland and definitely not banging. I don't think we will be back. Go next door to Sunset Grill. That food is the best on the beach as their sign says. read more

Took the family here for brunch last Saturday. The wait was less than 15 minutes and the foot was incredible. I had the eggs Benedict, extra eggs sunny side and espresso. My daughter had the Mickey Mouse shaped pancake and a fruit bowl and my wife had the old timers breakfast. My daughter never finishes her pancakes and this time around, she ate them completely. I asked for extra sauce on the eggs and asked them to burn the hash browns and they did it perfect. The coffee was nice and strong and the service was fast and lots of smiles. Loved it so much, I came 3 times during my trip! Convenient location, great theming, and excellent food. I got the French toast, 2+2+2+2, and the fish and chips. All meals were absolutely delicious! I met a friend the other day for lunch here. It was awesome....the food, the service, the prices! I had the Bang, Bang Shrimp dinner with fries and slaw and ate every bite! Totally delicious! The only complaint I would have is the parking! Ha! Need more room! I guess that's a good thing for a restaurant owner! Someone had to help direct me out as everyone was parked so close to each other (also front and back). But the diner and its' people are really, really good. Only took a star off because of the server. She kind of had an attitude but was still pretty quick. Food was great. We got chicken and waffles and a chicken biscuit. Beachside Diner gets the breakfast job done very well. I liked my omelet so much that we went back a second morning for a repeat. This is the normally egg whites Surfergirl but with full octane eggs. Why in the wild world would people avoid whole eggs, one of the healthiest foods known and the fat is where the nutrients are...oh well. The mixture of fillings on this was just great and generous. Both of the ones I got were perfectly cooked, fluffy and among the better omelets I've had recently. I splurged for the extra buck hash brown casserole the first time but found this a bit too heavy and strangely not that flavorful - needs some onions, etc to spice it up. Regular hash browns are fine as is the fruit choice. They have a huge menu of every possible breakfast dish (and lunch also I guess?) and beverages. It is a very busy place but service was good both times. Parking can be a bit challenged but they seem to have a deal with Sunset Grill next door - which is not open in the earlier AM - and I parked there one day. Good stuff. read more

Their food is good and the servers are good; however, the last two times I went there, there were just too many issues with the orders (I usually go with friends). I took my new puppy and we had the end of the patio we weren't in anyone's way. I had water for my dog. What appeared to be a manager (regular clothes) came over and swiffered the area saying this would help it dry faster for the next people. My friend and I were still eating. I said, we are still eating.. he just kept on shifting, we were definitely in his way. Btw, there were plenty of tables open. read more

Being in St. Augustine this weekend. We ate at the beachside diner twice! Friday afternoon for lunch. The waitress was super friendly. The food was delicious and Fresh. The Spicy Chicken and waffles is a great option. The spicy chicken breasts are tender and juicy, but not spicy to me as I really enjoy spicy food.
