My second time coming back and the food was just as good as I had the first time. KEEP IN MIND: plenty of parking since it shares a lot with a Von's and other stores but depending on how busy it gets, you might have to park a little further and walk. No reservations in advance, you'll have to get your name taken down by the hostess. The first time I came, we went earlier in the morning so we didn't wait at all. But this last time, I came with a party of 5 and we had to wait about 30 mins when we got there around noon. Knocked down a star since we waited quite a bit before our order was taken but the food came out very quickly. I personally don't have a problem with the price since I think the portions are very large for what you pay but to each their own. We had pancakes galore, an order of crepes, and their Hawaii Five-O French toast but I think their waffles are superior. These potatoes are my dream potatoes: the perfect size, perfect cook, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. I forgot to take a picture of our iced lattes but they came in cups that were bigger than the water cups so you definitely get your caffeine fix. I came in a Sunday around 11:15 am and the wait was 30-40 min. Not too shabby for the weekend. We spent the time browsing the menu and were ready to order by the time we got a table. The service after being seated was a bit slow. We sat down, waited around for awhile and when someone finally came to ask us about drinks we mentioned we were ready to order. Sadly, she told us she'll get our server since she was only taking drink orders. We waited maybe another 5-10 min. Eventually, I flagged someone down and asked again and, again, was told they'll find a server to take our order. They didn't even pick up the signed bill from the previous patrons that were left at our table. About 5 min later, the server came to take our order. She was really nice and friendly. So many employees walking by or behind the counter (some just chatting), but apparently not available to take any orders. I get it, it's busy. But maybe the people standing behind the counter should be available to take some orders too? FOOD-WISE: The food came out in a timely manner which I really appreciate. The Eggs Benedict was decent; the hollandaise sauce was great. The side of potatoes were bland, but salt, pepper and ketchup helped. The Omelet was basic; nothing special and small. Hash browns needed salt as well. The waffles were probably my favorite of the 3. It's a tad on the pricey side for waffles with some fruit on top, but it was good. I would probably try the pancakes next time. Overall, the place is okay. As of now, I'd definitely go back and try other things. Went this morning for the first time in awhile and MY GOD the prices are insane for breakfast. Their standard bacon, eggs (2), and pancakes are now $25 and to add a speciality, it's an additional two dollars. Ordered a "baby pancake" for our son and that was $13.95. A PLAIN PANCAKE! I understand everyone has to make money, but for 3 adults and one 20 month old to go to breakfast it cost us $120 here!! That's simply not affordable and it's unlikely we will be back. The tables are sticky and chipped in places, and the chairs are uncomfortable. On top of that, the air conditioner either doesn't work at all or isn't doing its job because it was really hot inside, even though I was eating in the morning. I'm not sure if I should make this comment about all American food or just this particular place. But honestly, it's impossible to eat this without sauces. Considering you can also kill time at Starbucks or at the market in the same plaza. I wanted to visit Lou's for their croissants so we walked there and back to kill time haha. We were seated after we came (perfect timing!) and they have a lot of items to choose from on their menu. I wanted to get the matcha pancakes and my boyfriend wanted the breakfast burritos. We also got a side of hash browns and bacon. The matcha pancakes here were so good!! The cream they also added on top was really nice too, I enjoyed that a lot. It's already sweet by itself, so you don't have to add any additional syrup, but it's good to use if you want to change up the flavor profile or if it gets too dry! Though the matcha in this were really nice. The breakfast burrito was not bad too. It wasn't that heavy based on the ingredients that was put together, but a bit heavy at the same time because of the cheese. The hash browns were pretty good and the bacon was nice. Parking is pretty easy, and the restaurant is in the corner. Very easy to find when you see a large group of people waiting outside. Speaking of being outside, we were seated in the outside tables in a very isolated area. If you've got a sweet breakfast tooth, Bea Bea's is the place for you. They're known for their decadent breakfast fair... and by that, I mean "rich and calorie-filled" goodness. I use the term "breakfast" lightly, as most of their pancake, waffle, and french toast items would be more accurately described as dessert. We haven't tried everything on the menu, but they are known for their insane french toast concoctions. Personally, my favorite item has been the scrambles. Made with fresh ingredients can't do wrong. You can never go wrong with Bea Bea's! One of the best places i always recommend my friends to eat at for brunch. It's so tasty and filling i wind up taking it to go most of the time because it can easily fill me up. I think the best time to go with little to no wait times are around late lunch time. It's always so packed with long wait times when i go earlier (like for breakfast time). There's a huge parking lot here because it's the Lakeside shopping center next to a Vons, Starbucks, Nail Garden, Panda Express, etc. The staff are always so friendly every time i come. I always get a new item from the menu so during this time i tried the s'mores pancake & added vanilla ice cream ($11.50 + $3.00 for ice cream) 4/5. It was so good but it was huge! Wasn't able to finish it in one sitting but luckily they have very good to-go packaging that keeps my meal intact throughout the day. I recommend getting the mango lemonade 5/5 SOO GOOD. This is my go to drink everytime i visit Bea Beas. My boyfriend got the ham, potato, bacon plate with a side of waffles (i forgot what the name of this order was but that's basically what it is lol). He loved it 5/5 from him and best believe he finished his entire plate. The potatoes here are so good so if you can choose those as the sides. Overall, our experience here is always pleasant. The servers and cooks are so efficient and fast paced. The food is always fresh and hot just the way we like it. It's always clean in the restaurant. I ask for the manager & he look at it said he could not see it then we pulled it up and he took them.
