Burnt ends are my favorite bbq item, but I like them in cubes rather than in this more shredded in sauce format featured on top of the mac & cheese here. Still tasty, but I think there could have been a larger portion. The bowl is wide, but has only about an inch and a half of mac & cheese with a few tablespoons of burnt ends on top. Had the Pittmasters sandwich: It was yummy and very appetizing appearance! The brisket is very soft and tender, and a nice flavor, but not very notable (smoked?). Tastes better with the bbq sauce... but you dont need too much. Cole slaw was nicely light, but I think there could have been just a little bit more there to balance out the sammie. The bun was toasted well and perfectly held up with the contents. I'd like to try the mac. It is very easy to order from their kiosk and the food came out in 5 minutes. They are open a little later than other places in the area, and I was really curious. My sandwich was not cut in half, so ask for it when ordering if you care. I was on the way home and it was dark, so I took it home instead of eating in the lot. I felt like it was a little pricy (esp. with the tip and tax on it), though overall I was happy with it. Fyi I also dont regularly buy this kind of meal... Plus I ordered without really looking at the branding and pictures, but I did notice how AI it all seemed while I was waiting. The man cooking was incredibly kind, welcoming, and supportive. He politely invited us inside to relax while we waited for our food, and we truly appreciated his hospitality. Unfortunately, our experience changed completely after that. someone in the place unnecessarily rude from the moment we walked in. He scolded us for touching the speaker and claimed to not touch due to him owning everything. At that point, I just looked at him with the most confused, doe-eyed expression, genuinely wondering what we had done wrong. We were simply following the chef's instructions and quietly waiting for our food. My friends and I all work in healthcare/mental health, and we had just wanted a place to unwind for a few minutes. We weren't being disruptive or disrespectful. Instead, we were made to feel like we were doing something wrong simply by being there. The entire interaction was surprising, uncomfortable, and honestly felt like we were being singled out. What made it even more disappointing was that another person standing nearby watched the interaction, smiled, and did nothing to help de-escalate the situation. The chef deserves recognition for his kindness and excellent hospitality, but the son's behavior overshadowed what could have been a great experience. I hope this feedback is taken seriously, because customers should be treated with the same respect and courtesy that the chef showed us. read more

Tried out the Dino ribs. These are flat (flanken) ribs, taken further down the length of the rib than prime rib. There were 3 ribs, and I weighed just the meat portion - 15 oz, almost a pound! Enough for 2 or 3 meals, so the price was reasonable. Pretty tasty, some resistance in the meat, which I like. But not as tasty as prime rib bones. read more

Dino rib (3.5/5): very juicy and tender. it was really fatty but and some of it wasnt rendered all the way, but the texture of the meat throughout was really good. I wished it had more of a bbq or smoked flavor. Brisket (3/5): good smoke coloring and flavoring but i thought the brisket was a little dry. By itself, i think it was lacking significant flavor but paired with the bbq sauce it was delicious. Burnt end mac (4/5): good, solid flavor, but nothing special. I was honestly blown away by the beef ribs. They were incredibly tender, juicy, and packed with amazing smoky flavor. You can really tell that the owner puts his heart into making high-quality BBQ. He was also very friendly and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. The prices are more than fair, especially considering the huge portions. I ordered two ribs because the photos made them look much smaller than they actually are. When I got home and opened my order, I was shocked! Very good brother who makes great food. I got the beef burn end mac and cheese which was very delicious. My family got smash burgers and the hot burger (forgot the exact name) which they very much enjoyed. The truck is sometimes located in Fremont and sometimes Santa Clara near MCA. Tried ordering online twice on door dash. Checked their official website for hours they are open and saw they were open the next day at 11am. So, i ordered on Tuesday and scheduled it to come at 12pm today. Guess what. they canceled my order because somehow the next day they are temporarily closed. this exact thing happened twice. i do not understand. when are they open? I tried ordering again and this time I ordered on their website. They were open and I checked the location. Somehow after ordering on the day i checked the opening time, they are closed or/and not there. Their website says they are open at Fremont boulevard. 4 drivers cancelled the order because they couldn't find the food truck. I tried calling them but there was no response. Phenomenal food. I've had the opportunity to try halal brisket and American BBQ from multiple places and vendors but honest to god, the brisket at BBQ & Sizzle has been the best I've had so far. The meat is extremely tender and the serving size is fair. went to their food truck at suhoor fest in newark. Worst service i've ever had in my life. waited forever to place our order because their QR code wasn't working. we waited 2 HOURS for our food and it STILL wasn't ready. the guy was fulfilling orders out of order and they were STILL taking new orders when they couldn't even complete the ones they had. this isn't their first rodeo and their system was completely unacceptable. i don't care how good ur food is, waiting 2 hours for a burger is NOT okay! After i got mad about the order not being ready and him giving the orders out of turn they cancelled our order. wasted over 3 hours there and left with NOTHING. i'm beyond pissed because i had my kids with me too. i hope all those poor people waiting in line for hours like us, leave a bad review too because this food truck doesn't deserve a dime of anyones money! read more

Super excited to have a new BBQ food truck nearby. It was good, but I think there are few things that could have made this better. I will say, this place is expensive, but good quality, smoked meat should be. 2/5 Classic Ruben - the bread didn't hold up to the amount of meat and sadly, 80% of the meat was so so dry. There was not nearly enough kraut or dressing to make it moist, so it was difficult to get through. The bites that weren't dry were delicious. Def room for improvement here. 4/5 Pitmaster Roll - meat was super flavorful, good slaw inside and the bread was the perfect vehicle for all this yumminess. The only downside was the bun on the bottom was wet, otherwise it was a smash. 5/5 Burnt End Bomb Mac - so creamy, so delicious and the burnt ends with the BBQ sauce was exactly that, bomb. I am extremely disappointed In how the owners acted and went about orders. I waited 2.5 hours for food that I never received. Instead of going in order which orders were received, they were just handing out to people at the window. I couldn't even make my way to the window because of how chaotic is was. There was no structure to this food truck at all. Not only did I wait 2.5 hrs for food that I didn't receive, I also got yelled at by the guy to make sure they canceled my order. This is no way to treat a customer. They should have been handing out tickets and calling them in chronological order. Not only that he had his friend calling him for food and he picked up the phone and made sure to give him food even though there was a tremendous line of people who also waited over 2 hours.
