We went to our first Fremont Street Eats this afternoon. Out of all the vendors present, I thought 3-3-3 had a unique thing going on since they serve Korean, Mexican, and Indian inspired dishes. I saw that they're staff is composed of culinary school grads (nice). Their truck was pretty nice and their mascots are pretty dope. There's a lot on the menu, and I ended up ordering 2 garlic naan and 4 tacos- 1 carne asada, 2 spicy pork, and 1 chicken tikka masala. The tacos were good, but I felt there was a little something missing from this evening's order. The naan were alright too (they came with a side of chutney). I'd be open to trying more of their offerings though- I heard the samosas were good, and I'm always down for a good spicy pork burrito. Random thought- what if you made a naan/spicy pork combo. That'd be wild. I think if you're at a food truck festival, you need to consider dining at a fusion place to open up your mind and your tastebuds. The 3-3-3 truck came for a work event, and really cool concept of having Mexican, Korean, or Indian food in a salad, bowl, burrito or tacos. I tried the chicken tikka masala burrito with a samosa. I wish I knew that there was going to be a tomato/cilantro mix in it as I didn't enjoy that. The chicken also didn't have a whole lot of flavor. I then decided to try the Korean spicy pork burrito and asked what was in it this time as I saw the bowls had white sauce on it. Turned out to be sour cream. I also asked for no cucumbers which meant it was pork, brown rice, and kimchi. The pork had a kick to it, but wasn't the bulgogi type of meat. I think it would've been better with white rice rather than brown rice though. The kimchi was a nice addition, but again, it was just okay. The samosas were the best part of the meal. read more

Wasn't blown over by the food - the chicken tikka bowl was alright - I asked them to sub the yellow basmati with brown rice which they said yes to and promptly forgot to do - the curry sauce was meh! Mexican Korean Indian fusion, for when a fusion of two cultures just isn't enough. In practice it was tacos or burritos or rice bowls with flavored protein options from the aforementioned cultures. I felt their Korean game was particularly strong with some delicious spicy pork. Samosa: Pretty standard. Appreciated that they mixed the cilantro mint chutney with some yogurt, making it a creamier dip. Potstickers: It's not a potsticker if it's completely deep fried, since there is no pot to stick to! That aside, it was a tasty deep fried dumpling. The somewhat spicy soy dipping sauce really worked well against the fried shell. Spicy Pork Taco: Didn't expect this, but turned out to my favorite taco. The pork was cooked very well done like bulgogi and was full of marinated goodness. On top were some various pickled banchan that were perfect taco toppings. BBQ Chicken Taco: The chicken seemed a bit bland in comparison to the spicy pork. Was heavily smoky tasting though, so I was digging the BBQ-vibe. Also tasted yummy with the banchan on top. Chicken Tikka Masala Taco: Seemed a bit soupy. Almost like too much curry sauce. I'm also wondering if the chicken was stewed, which might explain the softer-than-tikka texture. Paneer Tikka Masala Taco: Can't go wrong with paneer! yo, Eric is an amazing caterer and every time we've had his services, my expectations are blown away. I always know he will cater an amazing meal but every bite of his meals still amaze me. There's not may food businesses that cater to you where you can see the care in his craft. I have loved every meal of his when it came to bridal showers, weddings, or just a random lunch or dinner. I highly recommend this service as they always perform their best. Every little dish that was served at my friend's bridal shower was top notch. I found myself going back to the food table having seconds, thirds, sevenths. Ya boi was full every time Eric catered. I highly recommend his service. Solid food truck. They were in the Oakland A's Coliseum In September and was able to try them there. Had their chicken tikka masala rice bowl. And it was as good as imagined. It was cold and breezy in the stadium and the hot plate warmed me up. I enjoy Mexican, Korean and Indian food, and this place has a nice way of blending them together, but I must add it was not as spicy as original Indian food usually is. The mushroom tofu Korean taco was amazing! Full of flavor and pretty generous portions. (See the picture I uploaded). My order was ready within 5 minutes. I also tried their strawberry lemonade. Yum, I love 3-3-3 when it comes near my area! I was able to get some of their food at a Moveable Feast. We decided to order the Freedom 4 Tacos ($10). Everything just tasted AMAZING! Short rib taco - huge chunks of tender short ribs mixed with some kimchi and cucumber. There is a sauce on top, which tastes great Mushroom Tofu taco - I was really impressed with this vegetarian taco. It was full of flavor and definitely my favorite! Carne Asada Taco - Diced carne asada mixed with some salsa. This was very good. Chicken Tika Taco - The Indian spices was not too strong, so I was able to take a bite of this. Workplace had them over for lunch and I got to try them today~ I am super happy that they came! I am not sure of the price as it was company bought but I assume it's around $8-9? Anyways, they only had the rice bowls for lunch today even though I was looking forward to trying the burritos ... But no problem!! I had the KBBQ bowl and it was SO GOOD!!! I asked for no sour cream so I don't know how it is with it but instead I for the hot sauce which everyone should get!!! I could eat like 3 of these!!! I had this for lunch today, and I thought it was delicious! I ordered the mushroom tofu rice bowl, and it came with sour cream, some sort of spiced sauce, cucumbers, and kimchi on top. Even though I would never have thought to add sour cream to something like this, it tasted awesome! The portion size was fairly large, and it was very filling. I also tried the strawberry lemonade which was delicious and fresh tasting. It was sort of thick and pulpy which I loved- but if you don't like pulp then this might not be the drink for you! Don't be deterred if there's a long line- they move very quickly and you'll get your food surprisingly fast! I passed by this truck at the Oktoberfest at Gordon Biersch Brewery this weekend... looked promising because a lot of people were lining up for their food. My experience was not one of the best... I was a bit weirded out that the spicy pork bowl was advertised as a Korean food option, but the rice it was served on was basmati rice flavored with herb and such... the taste just didn't work out. The meat was very salty, the pickled vegetables = saving grace! I couldn't finish 1/2 of it. The meat itself (pork) was absolutely phenomenal! They did a great job in cooking and making the meat flavorful and soft, but still have great texture and not all ... mushy and like ... overcooked-like. They put it in a delightful flour tortilla with white rice and scrambled eggs. I don't know if they normally serve this stuff, but it was pretty fricken awesome. We had approximately 60 people to accommodate at our house for a work party. We called and e-mailed all of the gourmet food trucks that were highly reviewed and every truck was a disappointment. Certain trucks were outrageous in price. Certain trucks were hard to reach and some just flat out ignored my e-mails, but not 333 though. Eric, contacted me back and was very accommodating with our party needs. Eric quickly devised a menu option to best serve everyone at our party. Not only was the food delicious, the cost was very reasonable as well. We had guests from every ethnicity and background and 333 provided our partygoers with options. That is huge! The menu is simple: Korean, Mexican, and Indian food either in a taco, burrito, or rice plate! Pretty straightforward! 333 arrived 30 minutes before our event to set up. Wow, is the food from this truck good. And this is coming from a huge skeptic of trucks, especially since I've already tired Kogi in L.A. I tried this truck's food during a company event that they catered. I asked for my tacos without the tortilla (never could make myself like them...), and they complied. The meats I tried were the Korean short rib, Mexican carne asada, Mexican chipotle chicken, and Indian tikka masala. My favorite by far was the carne asada. The avocado-mayo dressing atop the salsa was extremely delicious, and the meat itself was so flavorful and perfect. I also liked the short rib, though the meat was a little too chewy for my preferences. The chipotle chicken was also good, and the tikka masala was just okay to me. Decided to give this food truck a try @ the Fremont Street Eats event this past Friday and was pretty disappointed. I definitely had high hopes for this place given the four star review on yelp. The order took forever to come out and was definitely not worth the wait. We ordered the 4 mix & match tacos. We chose all the Korean/Mexican fusion tacos and also the Indian flavored lamb curry taco. We literally finished the tacos in less than 2 minutes. The tacos were tiny and there was barely any meat in them. Out of all of the ones that I tried I would definitely say to skip the Korean/Mexican fusion and go with the Indian Mexican fusion. It wasn't bad but it wasn't great. I tried the chicken tikka masala burrito which was filled with two types of rice (green & orange) with just a little bit of tikka masala chicken in between. The chicken was good but I didn't get enough of it. I had to spoon out a lot of the rice because that was all I was biting into. Carne Asada: Really solid carne asada with good crust, not the juiciest but nothing I'd ever complain about. 4/5 Short Rib: Really sweet, great texture, more moist than the carne asada probably my favorite. definitely gave off a teriyaki type flavor. 5/5 would eat 20 Spicy Chicken: Another really good one, sweet not really spicy, would really like for a burn the face off item on the menu but still pretty great. 4/5 Chicken Tikka: Love chicken tikka, even takeout chain restaurant tikka. I got a fusion burrito from 3-3-3 when it was at Mountain View's Off the Grid. Unfortunately it left me wishing I had just gotten a regular burrito from one of the Mexican food trucks that was there. I got the paneer tikka masala burrito. It was decent, but not great. It was very heavy on the rice - I felt like I was mostly just eating rice with the occasional chunk of paneer every once in a while. I think it could have been good if the fillings were just a little more balanced. My friend opted for a Mexican-themed burrito, and says it was "pretty mediocre." Ouch. Won't be going out of the way for this food truck, but could consider trying it again if I see it and am low on other options. read more

This food truck has been on my radar for a while now. Finally, my friends and I went to an event (garden at the flea) and they were there! They're an Asian fusion food truck offer 3 different type of cuisines Indian, Mexican, and Korean. We ordered the spicy pork rice bowl, chicken tikki masala bowl, steak and tots, and spicy pork and tots. The portions were huge (shareable)! What i liked the most was how flavorful the food were, especially the spicy pork and Kim chi. The tikki masala was flavorful but I wish it was a spicy! Overall the food is great. I hired 3-3-3 truck for our company luncheon today and the food was FANTASTIC! Eric and his two partners arrived on time and were able to whip out yummy tacos and burritos for my company right before our company meeting. The response? One word: Delicious! They were super accommodating in making sure all dietary restrictions were met as we have very picky eaters from the office. I was able to sample several items from their vegetarian menu and everything was soooo good. My favorite of all, to my surprise were the paneer tikka tacos. I don't eat meat and this was a great alternative and you definitely won't miss the meat if you are a carnivore. Menu is truly a mix of Korean, Mexican and Indian in that they are made into burritos, tacos or bowls. They had vegetarian options as well. And they had sides like naan, (korean style) potstickers and tater tots. What i had: spicy pork burrito. Damage: $9.50. The meat itself, spicy pork, had a ton of flavor, but everything else didn't. Rice, kimchi and plain cucumber were rolled with it. The cucumber was not seasoned or pickled, rice didn't taste like much and the kimchi was barely noticeable. It was a dry burrito. I felt it could use Korean banchan side dishes like be an sprouts with sesame oil to give texture and flavor. And even a drizzle of the sweet spicy sauce used on sizzling stone pot bibimbap would be nice.. I tried a bite of my husband's carne asada which tasted really strong spices almost tex Mex like which I'm not a fan of. The meat was a little drier as well. And I just don't care for black beans.. my heart is set on pinto aka the refried beans. I get it's fusion but they don't offer sauces besides the hot sauce on their counter.
