Food smell good and decently priced. However the chicken was pretty salty. With the spicy sauce it was even more salty.

Server was sweet yet she didn't really know anything about the menu items, and never refilled our drinks. She was cleaning the entire time, so not like she wasn't doing anything but by the end of our very disappointing meal, I was chewing on the ice in my empty drink cup trying to hydrate. Both my husband and I ordered the burnt ends plate. They seem to be a pretty popular item and I notice they upcharge for them on certain plates. These burnt ends were TERRIBLE on both our plates. They were so tough and dry, and were so hard to chew through that I couldn't really eat more than 1/2 of what was on my plate. My cornbread was super dry too, the dollop of butter that was on top didn't do much justice. Greens were the best thing on the plate.. but lacked serious flavor. At least the salt & pepper on the table helped with those. Our tab was around $60 for two plates, an unsweetened iced tea & a sprite (that were never refilled) and it pained me to pay for food to literally be thrown away because it was inedible. Coming from someone who works in the food service industry, that hurt. It's a shame because I remember this place being so good and I wanted to really enjoy my experience again. Maybe the kitchen had an off day and rushed the process on the burnt ends.. I don't know. But they should really test them out before sending them out in the future. I really dislike giving not great reviews... but sometimes we just can't let things like these slide. We all work too hard to be spending our hard earned money on bad food that pretty much ends up going to waste.

Ever since we tried…read moreChinese style bbq skewers last year, we definitely wanted to try more, Dynasty bbq came up on Yelp and seemed quite reasonable in price and serving size. When you enter and get seated, you will be prompted to go on the url code at the table to pick your items. While I understand that this is the new way for restaurants to serve guests post-covid, the vast menu items you have to scroll through makes me long for physical menus of the past - but that's just my boomer take for the day. There were a bunch of other items like rice and noodle dishes that looked interesting to pair with the meats, but we were only craving bbq so we skipped out on the carbs. We ordered a BUNCH of skewers, from the standard beef, lamb, pork belly to chicken skin and a fried quail. All of the skewers had the same type of dried chili powder spice seasoning mix so unfortunately there wasn't too much of a diversity in flavor profile but on the flip side, it allowed us to focus more on enjoying the meat quality itself (this is where rice or noodles would definitely help cut through the richness). All of the meats were incredibly well-cooked and charred. It is on the drier side, so be aware if you are looking for a juicier, plumper cut of meat that some other restaurants have. Paired with the Chinese vinegar, soy sauce, and chili oil, they were super delectable. My personal favorites were the pork belly, chicken skin, and beef. We had some leftovers to go and the staff provided us some extra sauce to go so that's a big plus. Great food here and definitely will be back to try more of the other menu items for the full experience.

What's nice about Dynasty is that they come pre-cooked, and effectively the grill is to keep the skewers warm. Flavor wise, the seasoning is not too salty and has great taste. Overall I would recommend this place for skewers!

This time round we decided to get bbq pork and roasted pork over fried rice. It comes with garlic sauteed cabbage which it will kill be a little due to the chopped garlic but i'll sacrifice myself on occasions. The BBQ pork and roasted pork were delicious and moist. It can be hit or miss and today was a hit. The fried rice was ok but I think I prefer steamed rice with this combo just due to the oily/fatty content can be too much and steamed rice is a nice complement to it. Service is relatively quick when they're not packed with people. Inside is still just a to-go spot. No place to sit. It's really a grab and go place. We'll always treat ourselves with this place and their siu mai is super gigantic and juicy. Definitely one of our go-to spots in Fremont.

Most of the items were already sold out, and they were not planning to make more. I just wanted one order of bean curd, which is three pieces for $5.80. However, they only had two pieces left, so they told me I had to choose one piece of another item to make it a "full order." I picked a stuffed green pepper, which normally costs $7.40 for three pieces. They then charged me $2.75 for that single piece, saying I didn't order a full order. They also charged me $4.50 for the two pieces of bean curd, again because it wasn't a full order. Why is it my fault that they ran out of items? $7.40 ÷ 3 = $2.47 (but they charged me $2.75) $5.80 ÷ 3 = $1.93 (but they charged me $4.50 for two pieces) This feels very dishonest.

First, I ordered through the restaurant's online system hoping to dodge all of the DoorDash cuts so their people gets all the money. But their system put in a wait time at 30 minutes, which I somewhat already knew it was unrealistic. The restaurant then called me telling me that the wait will be 45 minutes which I said exactly this, "that's fine, I'll wait". When I showed up at the restaurant tried to retrieve my order after 45+ minutes, a waitress said, "oh, I thought you didn't want the order so I never put it in". Then I said, "No, I said I could wait; I even told her that I'd see you there" I kept my cool, but you'd think they'd try to fix what went wrong, but the waitress continue to proceed with, "no you'd still have to wait another 45 minutes". Didn't ask if I could wait or checked how long I've already waited. Again, I totally understand the chaos during a Saturday dinner and try very best to empathize with services. But also, I think the way it was handled is quite unprofessional and tone deaf. I don't think it was necessary for anyone to give me a call, if I ordered through the system, I wish there's a way for the restaurant to notify the wait time through their text/online system, just like their waitlist. If they really don't want people to flake on their orders, maybe take card deposits or text confirmation or something. All in all, I won't be going there anytime soon. Their business is doing well and certainly doesn't need our money.

Refreshing Cold Noodles and a Great Variety of Skewers…read more This was a standout meal that balanced comfort and something a little different. I came in mostly curious about the skewers, but the cold noodles ended up being the surprise highlight. Cold Noodles If you're on the fence about cold noodle soup -- get this. The broth is lightly tangy and deeply refreshing without being overly sweet or vinegary. The noodles had the perfect bite, and the sliced cucumber added crunch and brightness. Topped with two soft-boiled eggs and fresh cilantro, it was simple but extremely satisfying. On a hot day, this hits the spot in a way hot ramen just can't. And even though it's light and chilled, it's still filling. Grilled Skewers There were a lot of unique options and cuts -- lamb, chicken, beef, and more. Each skewer was well seasoned and cooked properly, with a good char but never dry. The flavors leaned slightly smoky with a hint of spice, and the meat was tender. It's a great way to try a few different proteins without committing to a big entrée. Overall Experience There was a bit of a language barrier when ordering, but the staff was friendly and made sure everything came out as expected. The service was fast, and the atmosphere was casual but comfortable. If you're looking for something outside the usual ramen or hot pot spots, this is absolutely worth visiting. Great variety, excellent flavors, and that cold noodle bowl alone makes it worth the trip. Highly recommended

Parts of it were so tough and dry it was equivalent to jerky. If you like your duck DAYS OLD, I repeat.... DAYS OLD and DRY, get it from here. For me, I will never return again.
