Well based on the reviews, etc. I had lunch there. The delicious salad was too skimpy. I had the pappardelle with shrimp. First, let me say I LOVE pappardelle, LOVE it, so I was very happy it was on the menu. Absolutely delicious. Will go there again to have another of my favorites, bread pudding. If I don't like bread pudding, u will love this, if you do like bread pudding U WILL BE AMAZED! read more

Sooo good! Crab bisque, bread pudding, lobster Mac and cheese... Even the kids chicken tenders are good!!!

Love this restaurant! Great ambiance and the food is excellent. My usual go to is the bistro club but tonight I tried the risotto with asparagus and shrimp. Killer!! read more

Thanks Yelp for the find. Everything we tried was excellent. Great quality food in an unexpected place. The atmosphere is great, you don't even realize your in a department store. It's not easy to get to if your just looking for a bite to eat, but if your doing a dinner & shopping it's perfect. My favorites were: French onion soup French dip sandwich The fries are even great, particularly with the dipping sauce. The bread pudding was also a nice bonus at the end if the meal. read more

One of my family's favorite restaurants to visit when we are shopping at the Boca Town Center Mall. It's become a tradition to stop here in between or before we start our shopping. We come for the herb fries and much more. We're were here again on this day and had an outstanding experience. The food and service was top notch. I am happy that we are never disappointed. Good job guys! Keep up the good work..!! read more

I have been to Bazille many times. Over the past couple of visits, the menu had changed to the point that my old go-to's had dwindled to none. I liked what I ordered, the service was polite and attentive, the restaurant atmosphere is starting to get dated, but still is attractive. If I am in the mall and want a healthy choice, that won't be overly expensive, Bazille is a nice option over Capital Grille. read more

Excellent food and service at reasonable prices. I ordered bistro steak pomme frites that was really good. My wife ordered the crab stack which was perfect size and taste for get diet. Recommended stop if hungry when shopping here. read more

I'm not sure what the hype is about this place. I came here for the first time with my fiancé because of all the great stuff we've heard about it. Well, that was not the case with our visit. This is long, but worth the info. Our drinks were not very good and took about ten minutes to get to our table. My drink was served in a metal cup filled with so much ice that the cup had ice forming on the outside. Needless to say, it was very cold and hard to drink. Apps: we both got soup. Hubby got lobster bisque, I got French onion. His was okay, nothing spectacular. Mine was actually very good. It was the only good part of my meal. Entrees: hubby got chicken and angel hair pasta. Again, nothing especially notable about this dish. I got a "roasted" boneless half chicken and pomme frites with asparagus. My dish was HORRIBLE. It was one of the worst dishes I have EVER had Ina restaurant. Asparagus was bone cold in the middle, chicken was overlooked to the point of having a texture similar to jerky, French fries were overlooked as well. Nothing on my plate tasted for or fresh. And then I found out why. My fiancé, who was seated facing the kitchen (which is open so EVERYONE can see what is going on back there) and the rest of the dining area. He noticed the other group in the restaurant (place was empty...it was just us and a group of older women at the tables) was having some issues with their food. There were plates being run back and forth from the table to the kitchen and back, and eventually the chef had to come out to their table. My fiancé saw a plate of what looked like what I ordered go back and sit under a lamp while they straightened out the issues with the other table. Apparently, the wrong dish (which just happened to be what I ordered) was brought to that table, and instead of making me something fresh, they just served me the food that they served to that table on accident. THAT IS UNACCEPTABLE AND ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING. I barely touched my food, and my fiancé brought up the issues with my meal when the waitress brought our check. $80 for 2 people, and I didn't eat my damn food! BECAUSE IT WAS TERRIBLE! She was apologetic, and we understand. My fiancé and I have both worked in food service and understand what a bad night in the kitchen does to people. She kindly offered us something for our "next" visit (I think it was desert?) but I can tell you now that there won't be one. When we were on our way out, we saw the chef getting scolded by who I assume to be the manager. After that he had to personally serve yet another plate to the table of older women that had been having issues with their food for the whole hour that we were there. I was really looking forward to eating here, but this was one of the worst experiences I have EVER had at a restaurant. read more

Nordstrom always is a reliable place for lunch. Bazille is the cafe in the department store on the upper level of this location. I've been a few times to this location. It's always been excellent. I didn't get a chance to take a photo of the menu but it has had some changes. You may want to look at it to make sure your favorite menu options are still available. read more

Consistently excellent food and a very comfortable atmosphere. The french dip sandwich is the best I have ever tasted. Pizza are great as well especially the Mushroom Pizza. The Crispy chicken is also very tasty with a perfectly done crust. Cesar salad is perfectly done with great large croutons. Also kids menu chicken fingers are quite tasty as well. Since they are part of a chain they have to include the calorie count on the menu and the calories can be quite shocking - I believe the chicken entree had almost 1800 calories. Seems like a good part of that are the very tasty fries. The only negative I have is while the wait staff is always very friendly there never seems to be enough of them so service is inconsistent. Also we have been to the restaurant many times and sometimes they keep you waiting even though many tables may appear to be open. Besides those small criticisms the food is consistently excellent and a good value. It's perfect for families and kids. Also excellent Cocktail menu. read more

Oh Bazille, what have you done! Please bring back the crab stack, which must surely have been one of your most popular dishes on the menu, the presentation was a delight and the flavors blended beautifully with a delicately clean taste. Now transformed into a crab and mango salad it is sadly inferior. It looked a mess; a pile of arugula generously doused in dressing which was overpowering in flavor, cherry tomatoes, crab, cucumber and mango casually thrown on top, and even more disappointing was the fact that it now seemed rather sludgy. I happen to love arugula, but it does not complement the delicate flavors of the crab, and mango. Please make your customers happy and bring back the crab stack! read more

Great spot for lunch ... Just had the French onion soup and white chocolate bread pudding...absolutely incredible and the service is always great. read more

I like everything they serve from the water to the breads and entrees you can't go wrong with their menu.

Food is great! Service is incredible! And the food and cocktails are out of control! This place is awesome, my 2 star review goes to the management, and the management only. I was there about 3-ish weeks ago and sat close to the bar. I literally witnessed, a lady who appeared to be the manager, throw basil, mint, and other garnishes on the bar top and yell at the bar-tender because she said the fruit was not good enough. Regardless of whether that was true or not, who does that!? It was completely unprofessional and dehumanizing to see that being done to another person, especially another employee... especially by someone was was clearly in a superior level to the one being dehumanized. Honestly, Nordstrom, I expected better treatment and training from your managers. I was completely dumbfounded and appalled by what I saw. Probably should have said something to the Nordstrom management department at the time, but I didn't and that's on me. This was not the first time either. A couple of weeks before that I witnessed the same lady harass another server at that same Nordstrom location with silverware. She threw forks and knives all over the countertops, in what appeared to be a child-like-temper-tantrum- and yell all at the server, in front of patron guests, about said silverware. While the food, adult beverages, and atmosphere At Bazille is fantastic, I likely won't be returning. It's too difficult for me to sit and watch as employees are treated like this by managers who seem he have a superiority complex. Nordstrom, DO BETTER! read more

This restaurant located on the second floor of Nordstrom in Town center mall was surprisingly packed and amazing. It really blew away my expectations. They will split anything on the menu for you and bring out items perfectly split. For lunch on a Thursday at 1pm there was a 15 minute wait, we were seated and brought it warm French baguette with butter. We split the cilantro lime shrimp salad as well as the crab Mac and cheese. Both items were so fresh and tasty and so flavorful! The menu is a bit overpriced, Avg meal $15 but the quality and service are well worth it. I can't wait to go back here! read more

Horrible service, food took over 40 min and it was cold when it finally arrived. Stay away as it seemed we weren't important because we had 3 kids with us. read more

Stopped by at Bistro N at the start of a marathon shopping day with my sister in law - needed fuel! I can honestly say that there wasn't a single menu item that I didn't want to try. We shared the cilantro lime shrimp salad and steak frites (most perfectly cooked steak I've had in a while) and both were AMAZING. The service was attentive and friendly and the white chocolate bread pudding is NO JOKE. Don't let the fact that Bistro N is inside of a department store deter you from visiting - they have parking on the upper level that leads you straight into the restaurant so you don't have to walk through all of Nordstrom to get there. Food was so tasty that we joked that we hoped to shop long enough to come back for dinner. Definitely visit Bistro N! read more

I ate here this past weekend while shopping in Boca Raton. It is located inside of Nordstrom, I've never seen a restaurant inside of a Nordstrom before but I'm glad we went because it was super tasty. The girls I was with all had a salad and I had the club sandwich. The menu isn't very extensive but everything we ordered was absolutely delicious. Great service as well. I also appreciate that they took all our shopping bags and stored them while we ate so we didnt have to put it on the floor, it's those little things that count ya know? read more

Our new favorite lunch spot in Boca. Took the advice of fellow Yelpers and had the French onion soup, the crab tower, and the shrimp salad and the bread pudding, which were all delicious. Service was friendly and not too talky - just the way we like it. Drinks were a bit watered down, but that was the only negative for our visit. This restaurant is also much better priced than similar restaurants such as Seasons, Houston's and Madisons. read more

This is a beautiful restaurant with an upscale feeling. It is located inside Nordstrom's Department Store. It's a perfect place to bring someone you're trying to impress. There are a lot of choices on the menu with an assortment of soups, salads, sandwiches, entrees, and desserts. There's some Southern style food that's hard to find in south Florida, such as fried green tomatoes, shrimp and grits, and iron skillet apple cobbler with brown butter caramel ice cream. The food was delicious. The service was excellent. I'm looking forward to going back. read more

We ordered the calamari, lime cilantro shrimp salad, and the crab bisque. All food items were awesome. Prices were a bit higher but considering the location, I can totally understand. Overall, great experience. Good place to get a quick bite! read more

The best little secret in Boca. The service A+. Have been here about 4 times and have not been disappointed yet. From their delicious hummus, and unique soup to their roasted chicken breast and salmon with salsa. Flavorful and unique. The management is personable. On our last visit yesterday Ashley our server was pleasant and competent. Afraid to see what will happen when season hits or when the word gets out about this place. They have both lunch time and dinner menus each with their unique twist. They try to accommodate your special requests. All around compared to some other places in this town - they rate high on my list read more

This is one of my go to spots! Always a treat! Some of my favorites include the crab stack, margherita pizza, and on Fridays you have to try the tomato soup....out of this world good!! Service is always top notch! Love the mint chocolates they give you when you get the bill also, it's a nice touch. We will continue to come back time and time again! read more

Ok. So let me start off by giving you the best pointer when going to Bazille..... When you sit down, get your menu, start looking at the menu, and the waiter walks over.... You only have one task (besides saying hello to the waiter), you pre-order the bread pudding!!!!! When I say that this is the best bread pudding I have ever had, I don't say that lightly. I am a bread pudding fanatic, expert, addict.... I can go on. It takes 20 minutes because they bake it in house. So order it first. White chocolate, raspberry, dense bread, perfectly soaked and warm and melt in your mouth amazing-ness. Ok ok. You probably want to eat there too. And their food is fantastic. But my favorite (I eat light to enjoy the bread pudding, DUH), is their French onion soup. Pair that was a pear and Gorgonzola salad and I'm set. They can get pretty packed, so on weekends, expect a wait. Oh and did I mention it's located inside Nordstroms? Yup, conveniently behind the designer clothes and home goods (I sometimes get distracted while walking to the restaurant). Please please please make sure to get the bread pudding. It is beyond amazing. I wouldn't let you down EVER! read more

Was very impressed. Such a hidden gem of a restaurant inside Nordstrom's. Great French Onion Soup, salads, and sandwiches. They also had a full dinner menu. read more

Bread pudding and Niçoise salad so delicious. Best dessert ever. And it was free with my check in on yelp!

So I might be a little biased (I work nearby), but this is a GREAT restaurant, which just so happens to be inside a large department store. Don't let the clothing fool you - once you are seated, you will have absolutely NO infringement from the outside world. The food if fantastic and well priced - a great spot for lunch or dinner. The soups and salads are YUMMY enough to like the plate/bowl, and I have had a couple of main dishes as well that are tasty. Don't even get me started about the Crab Stack..... It's just a big tower of goodness. Give this place a try! read more

Not awesome. Crab Mac and cheese fishy, French onion soup no flavor, poor service. Will not be back

Extremely rude hostess. Made it difficult to enjoy the great food after such animosity from the women working the front.

We decided to skip the food court and try something new (for us). Good move! We were there during lunch: the Cilantro/Lime Shrimp Salad was perfect; and the others had the Black Forest Ham & Swiss Sandwich and the Bleu Cheese & Pear Salad, with no complaints from them. The Chocolate Paradise Cake was to die for, enough to split among the four of us. Service was very acceptable. If you have the time, skip the food court, and give this place a try. read more

Nice quiet place to eat at the mall. Service was very good. Food was better than expected. Bread Pudding is OUT OF THIS WORLD GOOD.

Formerly known as "Nordstrom Bistro" renamed "Bazille", however the menu is the same as before! I ordered the French onion soup bowl and it was amazing. The cheese, onion and soup ratio was on point. I didn't feel overwhelmed like I'm stuffing myself full of cheese or biting into balls of onions. The soup itself was well flavored, I love eating food that doesn't require an extra pinch of salt or pepper or condiments. My mother had the lobster bisque and it's her favorite from Nordstrom's Bistro. We also ordered a side of fries with their special dipping sauce: Kalamata aioli sauce. It's a must have if you order a side of fries or turkey sandwich from their restaurant. Their fries are tossed in garlic and a pinch of salt. Try their aioli sauce! You won't regret it, and you can thank me later ;) my mother and I split the steak entree. It was brought out in two plates and each of us got a decent piece of steak that was accompanied with asparagus, roasted fried potatoes, and grilled onions in a vinaigrette sauce. The steak was well seasoned and complimented the vinaigrette sauce. To tie up our late lunch, we ordered the creme brûlée for dessert. It was good, but honestly not the best creme brûlée I've had, still it wasn't the worst. I should've tried the white chocolate bread pudding the server recommended but I was in the mood for a custard like dessert. Oh well, there's always a next time!!! read more

Service was 100% professional, with a personalized flair. Server knew exactly how to interact appropriately with finicky female diners: Suggested table away from families with active toddlers, wisely recommended adding extra shrimp to the entree for only $1 each, brought olive oil (in addition to butter) with amazing, addictive bread. Decent beer selection; would be lovely to see a few additional craft beer selections on the menu. All food was fresh, delectable and uniquely flavorful. A tremendous, delightful surprise to find such a superb bistro in a department store! read more

You can easily miss this place, since it's tucked away at the back of Nordstrom's. Thanks to your helpful Yelp app though, this little gem won't go undiscovered. Bistro N has a casual elegance and a warm and inviting atmosphere. The menu has many choices, all with an eclectic use of high quality ingredients. The chocolate cake was delicious, with some yummy crunchy crispies in it and big enough to share (with an army). A much better alternative to the chaos of the food court and the same old boring chain restaurants. read more

My Wife and I ate at this restaurant for the first time. It is a really nice restaurant with very nice ambiance. The crab soup was very tasty. I ordered the lobster mac&cheese. The dish came to the table just warm. I asked to have it "heated up". After 5 minutes the dish was returned to my table. The dish is one of the most expensive on the lunch menu. The dish really tasted like Mac& Cheese as there seemed to be very little lobster. I guess I should stick to seafood restaurants for this dish to be prepared properly. read more

First, the ONLY reason I gave this place 1 star is bc zero is not an option. We have been here on numerous occasions for lunch and enjoyed the food so thought we'd try it for dinner and it literally turned out to be the WORST meal I have ever had. There are 3 ways you could rate food: (1) great (2) good (3) bad ... well, this was terrible! What a disappointment. The waitress was great but I can assure you I will never be back. read more
