Our server, Kaylee, was terrible. We didn't get water until 20 minutes after sitting down. After our appetizers arrived, we realized we had no plates or silverware. When our main entrees came out, we still had zero utensils, so I had to walk up to the bar to get them myself. And the food was just as bad I ordered the stuffed rockfish, and it came out rubbery and nasty. To top it all off, they slapped an 18% auto gratuity onto an $75 bill for a table of three (two adults and a toddler). You will never survive as a business if you keep treating customers this way. First things first: they don't take reservations, so plan accordingly! We arrived around 5:45 p.m. and were quoted a 45-minute wait. Apparently, if you arrive after 5:45, you should be prepared to wait anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour. Thankfully, around 6 p.m., a few people got up from their seats at the bar and we QUICKLY grabbed them. Crisis averted! We started with the Mezcalita with cilantro honey, which came highly recommended by the bartender. It was SO delicious -- the perfect balance of sweet and spice without either overpowering the other. For my second drink, I switched to the Suero, made with El Buho Mezcal Espadin, green mango, lemon, agua mineral, and Himalayan pink salt. It was completely different from the Mezcalita -- super refreshing, crisp, and not sweet at all. Both were excellent! Then came the food. I've been here before with my chef and the back of house crew, but I had to run it back; because I loved it Food was great, I enjoyed the queso fundido, the chihuahua queso was delight. The tacooooooos, this gotta be their bread and butter I definitely bodied it. The flan was classic, I got what I expected. Definitely high on my recommendation list, if you haven't you should go and if you have it's probably been a minute go run it back solo or w/ the homies
