Baskin Robbins will always have a place in my heart. I'm pretty sure this location is the only one left here, which makes it feel even more special! I used to go to the location where the old Walmart used to be, across from Rancho, every single week with my dad when they had their $1 or $1.50 scoop days. Core mems for sure! Now I go back and it still tastes exactly how I remember. My forever and always order: mint chocolate chip!!! Idc what anyone says. This flavor is ELITE. No matter how many fun flavors they have, I always end up choosing mint chocolate chip. I just love the color, the minty flavor and the texture of all the chocolate chips. I love how the sweetness from the chocolate chips balances out the minty taste. This location does look like it had a little remodeling done. It definitely looks more modern compared to how an early 2000s Baskin Robbins used to look like. It feels more brighter, more open. If that makes sense. No matter what, Baskin Robbins is nostalgic, it's comforting, and it's still just as good. Some things really don't change and I love that. I just hope this Vallejo location never closes. read more

I'm happy to still see a Baskin Robbins in Vallejo that has been here for many years still in business. Small inside but mighty and busy! Prices have definitely gone up over the years and they still have multiple and more than 31 flavors. My all time favorite baskin robbins flavor that I like to get is their mint chocolate chip ice cream, I like their shaved chocolate chipping. I feel lkke the cake cone is the less messy cone because at the end my ice cream falls through the sugar cone. Jamocha almond fudge was one also that I used to get. There are some seats inside, small parking lot that can get busy and I just ended up parking around the corner on the street to make it easier for myself. Service was great and busy and glad to see all of the business still here in Vallejo. The plaza can get busy with parking. read more

The manager micromanages and verbally harasses his teenage employees on a daily basis. He makes his employees pay for toppings they forget to ring up and sometimes entire menu items (usually the customer changing their mind or not wanting to pay). He isn't above making his employees cry and has even done so in front of customers. Most of the employees come from low income or conservative families that don't take their complaints seriously. read more

If you're still concerned with Covid-19 swirling around, maybe not a good place to be when it's busy. Impossible to social distance. Maximum occupancy inside can't be more than 15-20 peeps I'm guessing? And on an exceptionally hot day, expect the line to snake out the door. I recently copped a free welcome scoop for adding the Baskins app to my smart phone, so headed on in. I was also wanting to try the limited BR x IF flavors, which were inspired by the IF movie. These two new flavors are Blues Boardwalk Bash & Blossom Berry Twirl. I got a scoop of each in a cup, basically getting 1 o' the scoops free. The flavors are bomb! As in good bomb. The topping add-in's of each flavor really send these scoops over the top. Subtracting 1 star overall from the store experience based on it's location age and a somewhat run-down looking parking lot. Just ordered a milkshake here and it was terrible. It was basically slightly thick chocolate milk. It felt like he added 1 small scoup of ice cream to an entire glass of milk and blended it smooth. Went to this Baskin-Robbins on "Celebrate 31" scoop day only to find that no one at this location knew what it was and said they didn't honor it. It wasn't really a big deal.. I still wanted ice cream and knew that not all of the locations participate. I decided to go for the Warm Brownie Sundae with chocolate chip ice cream, butter pecan ice cream, caramel sauce, whipped cream, rainbow sprinkles and a cherry. My sundae was really good. It hit the spot and satisfied my sweet tooth. The brownie was fudgie and the ice cream was smooth. The only thing I will say about this Baskin-Robbin's is that some of the containers the toppings are in have seen better days and should be replaced and at the very least cleaned out. The manager of the place is horrible. I heard that the manager is the one that doesn't allow samples because he is cheap and when I asked why to one of the employees they said it was because of Covid which I don't understand considering that if Covid was to start it was there with how dirty the place is. If you care about proper social distancing practice, please do NOT go here. There's a help wanted sign on the window for a reason, and it's probably because people don't want to catch corona. While we were there, there was only one worker for the store, and he kept telling people it was OK to go inside when there was already far too many people to practice proper social distancing. Not only that, but the milkshakes we ordered had far more milk than ice cream, which is atypical, and we were not offered a receipt, just ushered out of a far too small room for the amount of people that were in it. DO NOT GO HERE!! I recently went in to purchase a "congratulations" for my boyfriend who recently and finally got a job. When I went in, there was only one guest in the building, but 3 workers. 2 of them weren't doing anything, they would just look at me and continue to talk amongst theirselves. When another family came in, one immediately went to assist them. As assisting them, she kept looking over at me. It wasn't tule 15 minutes later that she finally acknowledged me and asked if I was there first. Even then, she handed me off to other worker not telling her what I ordered. I ordered a cookies & cream roll cake and asked the worker to place "congratulations" on the cardboard border around the cake. The worker said okay and proceeded to do so. When I got the cake, "congratulations" was spelled wrong and half the letters were on top of another because the worker decided to change my idea and write directly on the cake. It was upsetting because I wasted money on something that was a disappointment in such a wonderful occasion. I emailed "AVI" and his reply was "oh so two bad workers." Didn't even try to help me in the situation, just wanted me to come back for more business...definitely never going back! The establishment wasn't even following proper COVID guidelines. No 6 ft distance or a limit of how many people can be in the establishment at one time.
