This is now under new management and called Creamy Scoop. Thats what the sign outside of the establishment says. I went in and I noticed they still have Cream set up and many of the Cream branded cups. I got a salted caramel cookie sandwich with vanilla ice cream. The ice cream he put in between the cookie was generous but then he stuffed the sandwich into a cup which made the cookie break and so at that point I couldn't eat it as a sandwich. When it was Cream they used to put it in parchment paper so it wouldn't break....maybe they should do that instead. It wasn't the biggest deal but slightly irritating. The quality of the ice cream seemed the same but I'm wondering in the future if they will change. The customer service was good he was very polite. read more

Pretty good... hungry teen ordered a chocolate dipped waffle corn that was rolled in nuts and filled it with French vanilla ice cream. It was huge and well worth $4.79 that she was supposed to pay for but her phone conveniently died at the counter. ANYWAY ice cream taste... ok but the star was the cone. It was delicious. This location lost it. First, let me address the COVID "rules." "No mask, no entry" they say yet on 10/04/20 at around 2100, I witnessed one customer INSIDE THE STORE covering their face with their hoodie but walked out without even covering with their clothing. Also, they have a sign specifically stating for customers to NOT GRAB what's inside the freezer that is filled with pints and drinks, yet, from the car, I witnessed the same mask-less customer reach in to grab a bottled drink. The staff definitely is not enforcing what they are supposed to do which is making me question their cleanliness and so forth. Second, I'm not sure about the other flavors but I can tell the soy mint chocolate chip ice cream they had was old. FREEZER BURNT ICE CREAM FOR SURE. Staff wasn't even able to scoop it smoothly. I observed her mumbling something who I believe is the supervisor yet she continued to keep scrapping the icy ice cream into my cup. I'm telling you, it tasted and looked like chunks of ice. It was old frozen milk with chocolate chips in it. Nothing minty about it. I thought CREAM ice cream was supposed to be CREAMy... I hope the manager of this location educate their staff to take CA COVID rules more seriously. And I hope no one will have to experience freezer burnt ice cream. My sister, niece, and I visited this CREAM location while waiting for the maintenance on my car to be completed. The store was empty upon arrival, which I'm not complaining about. The gentleman behind the counter acknowledged us upon entering and told us he would be right with us, as he continued to work on a previous order. Customer service was great. He was friendly and attentive to our needs. He made our ice cream sandwiches just how we liked them. Dessert-wise, this CREAM location is comparable to many other locations. The cookies were soft and a bit gooey, which added to the amazing ice cream sandwich experience. My niece had a small scoop of French vanilla with sprinkles, which was also delightful. Overall, I'm happy with my experience at CREAM in Vallejo! I still remember when this location opened up when I was still living in Vallejo, so it was nice to actually have the time to visit it. With a name like "Cream" I envisioned a silky, smooth, and flavor forward treat, but instead received a grainy ice cream with bland taste. The staff was friendly, but with masks and social distancing being the new way of life, there's little room for chit chat. They have several flavors of cookies that can be combined with the array of ice cream flavors to create an ice cream sandwich, but the cookie/cream combo was a bit overwhelming so, I decided on just the cream with a few toppings. I got the banana nut fudge, and not only was it grainy in texture, but there were a few icicles in the ice cream. It almost seemed as if it started to thaw at one time, then was froze again. I earned a well deserved treat so I decided to go for ice cream. Since the COVID is still in effect, they only had one customer inside per order along with waiting for their dessert. I waited at least 5 minutes to get inside the ice cream parlor... I ordered these cinnamon waffles that looked hella good in their window while I waited outside and I put some thought into it. The process of making them takes a few minutes but it sure was worth it! I told them that I want the 3 scoops of ice cream and the flavors were apple cinnamon, cup of joe, and banana walnut, topped with Heath Bar and crushed almonds. The taste was soooo GOOD! The service was exceptional, and the staff were okay because it's hard for me to see their expressions when their masks are covered. Cream Vallejo is here. All of a sudden this old Vallejo strip mall is buzzing with young people who are here for Cream & In N Out. This old strip mall's parking is as crowded as ever. Got parking right in front of store and ventured in before more crowds came in and made a line out the door. Got a buzzing new business here, the ice cream place is spacious, clean and has a variety of flavors and cones to choose from. There were three busy workers but the line grew longer while the service dragged. I was able to get in before the crowd and it still took a good 10 minutes to line up and get my ice cream sandwich. Maybe when this new business figures out all its kinks, they will become more efficient. In the meantime, I enjoyed my chocolate ice cream on chocolate cookie treat. Welcome to Vallejo, CREAM! This well-known ice cream shop just recently opened within the last couple weeks. They had a huuuge grand opening and gave free ice cream sandwiches to the first 1,000 customers. The inside is well decorated and inviting. Unfortunately, this location doesn't have any place to sit or tables to set your ice cream down. The staff were friendly and it looked like two or three of them were still training. All ice cream flavors and cookies were available to try. I ordered a full sized snickerdoodle cookie split in to two with soy strawberry ice cream in the middle. FYI soy strawberry is seasonal, so try it while you can! I thought my combination was perfect! The soy strawberry wasn't toooo sweet so it didn't overpower the snickerdoodle cookie. My girlfriend ordered the vegan fudging awesome cookie with soy chocolate ice cream. She said the the cookie was aiiiight and the ice cream was good. Parking will for sure be an issue.. there's an in n out and round table right next to cream along with a Safeway so parking is usually always full. Anywhooo, do I recommend cream? I ordered three milkshakes, an ice cream cookie sandwich, and some cookies via Uber Eats. The milkshakes (minus the two straws that they gave us for three drinks, which were put under everything and ended up being bent at the bottom of the bag) were good and they were sealed well, but the cookie sandwich presentation was just awful. They put the toppings for my sandwich in separate containers and the "sandwich" was two cookies with melted ice cream in another container. It was honestly laughable. My family and I came to the grand opening. They were giving away free ice cream sandwiches to the first 1000. We got there about 1130, the line wasn't too bad. They had a jumper, a DJ, and people in costumes like the transformers and captain America. Although we got there at a good time it took around almost two hours till we finally got our ice cream. They also had a spin wheel and we won two free floats and a free cookie. This was a great grand opening, my kids enjoyed their ice cream. I heard that this place just opened in the plaza so I had to check it out. They have a lot to choose from traditional shakes and ice cream sandwiches to unconventional do'sants and tacos! I tried to keep it simple for my first visit so I chose the ice cream sandwich. The ice cream was smooth and full of salted caramel flavor. I really enjoyed the consistency. The cookies were large and a little thick, but it makes sense in order to hold the ice cream. When you order the ice cream sandwich it comes with a topping which is rolled on the outside. The employee serving me literally dumped all of the topping in one spot, which was strange, but I didn't mind. I hate that I have to write a bad review on a business during the pandemic but this CREAM is HORRIBLE! Cookies aren't that fresh and their hella slow. I had two friends visiting and after lunch my friend wanted to try cream. Ok cool, I've had cream in Berkeley and in alameda and loved it. I was excited to try because this location is close to my house. We get there and they currently have a policy of only 5 people at a time, ok no problem. So I had my husband and my friends husband wait outside. There were only TWO people ahead of us and it took the two ladies forever to complete their order. So then it was my friends turn to pick out what she wanted and she had to repeat her order SEVERAL times. Now, I'm not sure if the girl was new but after waiting for hella long our patience was growing thin. My friend wanted some gluten free cookies and unfortunately they only didn't have enough ready so she was told it was going to be 12 mins. Ok cool, no problem we'll wait. While one girl was helping my friend the other girl was acting like she was too busy to help me by wiping a counter multiple times. Mind you, there a line outside. Like GIRL what are you doing? So then she finally decides to help me and has an attitude. Luckily I just wanted a few things and she rang me out. Because they only have 5 people in at a time, we decided to give others the opportunity to order we'll wait outside for the cookies. I asked one of the ladies to wave us down outside when my friends cookies are done. So we're outside waiting and 20 mins goes by. So my friend and her husband go back in and are waiting forever for someone to help them. Meanwhile there are three people behind the counter, THREE. So the cookies are done and they set the trey of cookies to the side and don't say anything to my friends. Finally after waiting hella long, my friend husband was over it and had to tell them to just throw the cookies in the bag. There was no apology, usually business will offer something for the wait (we were there over 40 mins). Nope nothing. Long story short, cream is an awesome chain EXCEPT the one in Vallejo. Do yourself a favor and go to Berkeley or alameda. This place ain't it. I'm also not a negative Yelp reviewer. So the fact I'm writing about an ice cream shop says a lot!!!! You guys are over baking your cookies!! I love CREAM but both times I went to this location both cookie sandwiches were hard as rocks. You can see when you walk in the cookies look over done. Please take them out like 10 minutes before you guys are actually taking them out. Very disappointed I'm hoping next time they are perfect soft cookies that I would expect from a CREAM location. Maybe it's oven temperature or maybe it's baking time either way I feel like the franchise came with directions on how to bake everything there. Really friendly staff. First time coming here with two small children and the staff was friendly, patient and helpful. We ordered a small sugar cookie with ice cream and sprinkles, a waffle freshly baked with with blueberry cheese cake ice cream, gummy bears and sprinkles, and a regular sugar cookie with ice cream and sprinkles. I liked their selection of ice cream - they sell green tea ice cream one of my favorites. My only complain is I was not informed of the rewards on my first purchase but I made a second purchase and joined their free rewards program. Placed an online order through the website. Asked for warmed up cookies for my sandwiches and the cookies were hard like bricks. Which then lead me to the additional cookies I ordered and of course those were crunchy but I was able to bite into those. Not happy thst my cinnamon sugar cookies were hard when they are supposed to be soft. I definitely will make the trip to another location to where better cookies are served. read more
