Another yearly review of Baskin Robbins. I arrived as I was picking up a small scoop. They now have smaller ice cream cakes! Like $8 and could feed one very hungry person or maybe 2 people. The person inside greeted me, and was able to give me what I wanted and I was on my way. It's nice to have options for Baskin Robbins especially in terms of ice cream cakes. This one it felt like it was pulling teeth to ask for one or two tasters to choose our scoop flavor. It's supposedly an upcharge for a cone (whether it be regular or sugar cone). Not sure why this location always seems understaffed and unfriendly.. I came in on a Tuesday around 6pm. There were two people before me ordering a bunch of scoops and only one lady was working. She looked like the manager perhaps but she never greeted or addressed me in the 10+ minutes I was waiting for her to help the other people. I used to work at Baskin Robbins when I was younger and I know how chaotic and overwhelming it can get with a bunch of people, but the least you can do is at least address customers waiting and thank them for their patience. While I was waiting two girls came in who were starting their shifts. I get that maybe it wasn't exactly the start time of their shift, but the fact that they were just taking their time changing into their uniforms was kind of annoying when I had already been waiting (and one of them had seen that I was waiting for a while). The woman who looked like the manager was also on her way out at this point, still never having addressed the fact that I was waiting for so long.... However the ice cream itself is still solid. Mint chip and bananas foster are so good! Love that the blood bank gives out pint coupons for donations. When I went to pay, the employee told me they would not honor the coupon because it was the 31st of the month and all scoops were 31% off. You were no where to be found last night. The girl didn't have a name tag on her hat. The taller Asian girl had a name tag,(and I forget it, that's not the point and I didn't remember her), it was the other girl. I'll stay away from this place for 6-9 months. The turnover is typically high. Someone needs to watch the staff better. Oh, and the Sunday she made me was wrong. This has been our go-to Baskin Robbins since the one near our home shut down. We usually come here at night and although I'm not a big fan of ice cream, the boys are! So here we come. Clean, has all the flavors in stock every time we come, and the service has always been great. The ladies, usually there are two of them, are nice to the kids and they love coming here.
