Tried a cinnamon roll. It was pretty tasty but definitely could use more frosting. Service is super quick you pay and they package your roll for you. Bun is very soft and loaded with cinnamon.

Very little icing on a classic bun.

Getting a Cinnabon with hardly any icing and then charging me $1.50 for more icing should be illegal. I'm super annoyed and should've just left without buying one. I understand it can get busy on weekends but there should be an icing standard. No one wants a dry cinnamon roll.

Great spot to get some cinnamon rolls and other sweet treats. They have cinnamon rolls in lots of different varieties. You will get Cinnabon bites, rolls, donuts etc and will get different kinds of syrups also. You can try their cookies and coffee drinks, both are usually good. Service is usually quick and staff is friendly. You can eat in the mall cafe and seating is usually plenty during non-peak hours. Overall a good spot to go for some quick treats.

Way too light on the frosting.

Light on the frosting. I bought individual ones because usually have much more frosting than the much cheaper box, but not this time. Any lighter and you should call them dinner rolls. Hugely disappointed. Not going to crave Cinnabon for quite a while now.

Umm.. did management change ? Because this is the dryer Cinnabon I have ever bought from them?

Umm.. did management change ? Because this is the dryest Cinnabon I have ever bought from them? And I've been buying from the same place for over a DECADE ! Very light on frosting. ??? Mind you, i don't live in the bay anymore but would come and get this when I visit family... PLEASE DO NOT CHANGE THE OLD WAY OF MAKING THEM ! Also,, the price for extra frosting is like 1.25 each? Or 1.21? One of those .

Cinnabon has been a staple since I was a child and nothing has changed since. Every time I'm at this mall or have a craving for Cinnabon, this is the first place I think of since it's the closest to my house. The line is typically non-existent and the service provided has always been good to me. My absolute favorite treat is the Classic Cinnabon and will always vouch getting this if you haven't before. The last time I visited it was had the perfect temperature, the right amount of frosting, and gooey on the inside. I would say the only downside to Cinnabon is that they do charge a premium for just a single Cinnabon at $5.89. Not entirely sure how much the price of one has raised in the past 25 years, but it's hard to debate how delicious every bite is. Everything else on the menu is great, but I'll always stick with the Classic Cinnabon!

I haven't eaten any Cinnabon products in a long long time since they took one out from the San Mateo Hillsdale Mall years Ago. I saw the Great Mall has one. So I took advantage; the chillata was yum ! Nice staff and nice choices! Thank you

I am quite late but I figured it can't hurt to leave a review. You can never go wrong for a Cinnabon any time of the day. The drinks are all right but the pastries are the reason people come here. To enjoy sweetness once in a while.

The perfect bite to relish on a rainy evening. A little high on calories but some days could be cheat days, right? I am a big fan of Cinnabon's classic roll and yo be honest, till date, I haven't tried anything else here!

Fast service! Food was great! Ambiance was nice. Only downside was that the lemonade was a bit sugary.

Valerio's Tropical Bakeshop - Pandesal- Filipino Sweet Rolls

First off, the place is super cute but also kind of overwhelming in the best way. There are literally walls of bread and pastries everywhere, and so many options that I didn't even know where to start. I went in planning to spend just a few bucks on Señorita bread and somehow walked out $20 deep with a whole box of stuff. I ended up trying turon, a puto sampler, a bunch of different donuts, and of course the Ube Señorita bread. Honestly, everything was so good. Like fresh fresh. The bread was still warm in my hands, which made it even better. The staff didn't really speak much English, but it honestly wasn't an issue at all. They were super patient and helpful, and still managed to explain what everything was so I could try new things. At the end, I just told one of the ladies I had $20 and wanted to try a variety, and she literally put together a whole selection for me. That was probably my favorite part. The line was kind of long, but it makes sense because the food is clearly worth it. If anything, it just reassured me I was in the right place. Overall, if you're even thinking about trying Señorita bread or just want to explore Filipino pastries, this spot is 100 percent worth it. Just be prepared to go in for one thing and walk out with way more.

The ladies are so superb service has been top notch no complaints and I can smell the freshly bake breads. My favorites are the Spanish bread commonly known as a señorita bread stuffed with buttery breadcrumbs and brown sugar a great breakfast snack goes very well with halo-halo a traditional Filipino dessert then there's a hopia monggo stuffed with mung bean paste, hopia ube both 4 for $5.99 and chicken empanada for a mere $3.25 which had pork and beef but everything else is well stock and organized they even have drinks. Valerio's Tropical Bakery is on my top list of freshly baked Filipino bread rolls.

As I couldn't get there before the afternoon, we placed an order in advance which was a great move considering they were out of most flavors by then if I had just walked in to try some. The Pasteis de Nata were all good in the sense that they were flaky, creamy (not eggy), and not overly sweet. I was most excited to try the passionfruit one but I will say it tasted pretty much like the traditional with passionfruit seeds on top. There must have been the slightest hint of passionfruit, if at all. The flavor needs to be way more pronounced. The hazelnut was one of my favorites; the cream inside was delicious and it honestly didn't need the sprinkles on top. Both blueberry & strawberry were also well done and added a nice tart flavor to each bite. Sadly, mine was not served in their pretty boxes; apparently they charge ~$3 for that now. Decent try!

I wanted to like this place, but I just don't see the hype…read more The pastries were stale and lacked flavor. Even the malasadas were underwhelming and if you think they are similar to Leonard's, then this does not come close. For the Portuguese tarts, they were served a bit cold. I'd recommend reheating them. The crust was so oily it seeped through the napkin and the filling was overly sweet. I took one bite and couldn't finish it. Overall, the texture and flavor didn't meet expectations. Service was decent but the staff were not friendly. This was a bit of a letdown. If you can, I'd suggest driving or taking the train to SF for this better spot, Holy Nata. It was so much better.
