We went here and got dinner to go and spent around $80. The ribs were great. My husband really enjoyed them. I ordered the choice top sirloin. We ordered it medium rare, what we got was well done. It was very dry and we ended up throwing most of it out. I will say that this was a really big piece of meat that my son and I were planning to share. It's unfortunate that it was way over cooked. We would probably return but for ribs only. Wouldn't likely order the sirloin again.

Shout out to Barney's. I just picked up my ribs sauce on to go. They're super smack as usual and the food here is always the best. Been coming here since I was a teenager love it.

Classic BBQ spot that always delivers. The ribs are smoky and tender, the ham and sliced pork are flavorful, and the portions are generous. The sesame seed buns and pickles are a nice touch to round out the plate. Great comfort food, quick service, and a true local gem.

I was absolutely disappointed by my experience here. The service was slow. Even though it is an open kitchen you can see the cook was irritated to be there. The macaroni was microwaved (they tried to hide it) and they had an undisclosed up charge for all beef orders (the prices already on the higher end of the market). Don't waste your time or money here

Original BBQ sauce and NEW Red BBQ Sauce with my side of coslaw

If I'm being honest, the amount of times I have driven on Clayton Road, I never knew this place was ever here. One of my managers stumbled across this location and told us that their beef sandwich was bomb. So of course we had to go there and check it out - LOL! It is very much mom and pop owned and its super nostalgic. Greeted by a super sweet waitress who let us sit anywhere. She was super quick and practical when it came to ordering as well as refilling our drinks. My coworker order the beef sandwich and I order the ribs plate with french fries and a side of coleslaw. I tried a piece of my coworkers sandwich and it was honestly bomb like my manager said, definitely will be ordering that again along with their new red BBQ sauce. Their ribs were really good, but I do believe that it could be better. I love to clean a rib bone and it was a little hard to clean the bone because the back bone at the end of the rib was way to hard. Don't get me wrong, the rib was still tender, but having the whole ribs tender is a SUPER plus for me when eating them. I will say, that their new RED BBQ SAUCE is a game changer and I would eat everything with it. Other than that, I would for sure come back for more and see what else they have to offer. Like I always say, do not knock it till you try it.

Reviews are mixed. Many praise the ribs and barbecue, friendly service, and vintage atmosphere. Portions are also generous.

Great bbq! Good prices and excellent service. Place could use some updating but the food is so good it doesn't matter.

There were already a few people ordering, but I was helped out right away. Since it was my first time here, I asked the worker if there was anything she recommended. She let me know I could build my sandwich, but she gladly pointed me toward one of her favorites, the peppered turkey with pepper jack cheese. I went with the sourdough roll and got it with the works. It was a pretty hefty sandwich! They didn't hold back with the turkey and the pepper jack went really well with it. It wasn't overly salty, the flavors were balanced, and it hit the spot. The price was $15.50, which is pretty standard nowadays. But compared to some of the other sandwich spots I've tried around the area, it had noticeably better flavor. There are a ton of options and combinations to choose from. I'll definitely be back for more. I think I may have found my new favorite sandwich spot!

Upon arrival, we found parking easily, a lovely elderly lady opened the door for us to this old school deli and we were greeted quickly at the counter while in awe of all the goodies. I ordered a mortadella sandwich, my toddler got the pasta salad, my friend got the peppered turkey sandwich and her toddler got the potato salad. The food arrived quickly and was massive! The sandwiches were well seasoned, had a good meat to bread ratio and were satisfying. The folks here were so lovely and despite the limited seating, no one gave us a look for having toddlers playing around. After eating, you can go to the register and pay. This kind of blew my mind- this level of trust is not often seen anymore. During the hour that we were there, there was a constant stream of people coming in to order food, their tables were full and everyone seemed happy. I am so happy to finally get to try Parma! We will be back to this lovely deli the next time our schedules align.

However, the sandwich itself was smaller than I expected. So, I guess the price checks out? The biggest let down was definitely the amount of meat (or lack of) that we got. I've never gotten such a skinny sandwich at a deli before. My Caesar sandwich was all bread, a bit of turkey, and a tiny bit of cheese and dressing. The lettuce pieces I got were mostly the weird stem parts instead of the romaine leaves. We also got an Italian sandwich. I've never seen an Italian sandwich with such little cold cuts on it. Just look at the picture. Positives: the cashier was pretty nice. also, the ciabatta bread was very soft but crunchy. They have a patio outside with shade that was nice to sit on.
