Tony's special sandwich $12.75 turkey mortadella provolone salami plus the works toasted..... yummm !
    Whallen F.

Nick's is a hidden gem right across the BART fee parking lot on Park street. Public parking is kinda hit and miss but well worth a few steps to Nick's . Thus place is super clean with easy to read menus in the wall. We ordered the Tonys sandwich which was turkey mortadella salami on a Dutch crunch with all the works . I had it toasted which gave it a nice crisp crunch on the outside and soft on the inside instead of ham I substituted extra turkey and mortadella .. With each bite I could taste all the meats in their juicy form . Oh man , this was a delish sandwich ! The other sandwich was the Cali club $12.00 with turkey, bacon , and all the works , this too was terrific . I was pretty full after one sandwich well worth the price $12.25.This is a bargain and I'll be back for another ! Give this local family run place a chance ! Thanks Elise !

Custom sandwich. Highly recommend. Check out my review if you want to know what's in it

I ordered a fully custom Dutch Crunch sandwich, and they absolutely nailed it. I stacked it heavy with equal parts turkey and ham, bacon, avocado, pepper jack cheese, mayo, mustard, their stinky sauce (garlic olive oil spread), plus lettuce, tomato, onions, pepperoncinis, and jalapeños. This thing was loaded. The lady working the counter was super friendly and actually paused to double-check every ingredient with me to make sure they built it exactly the way I wanted. That kind of attention shows. The end result was a powerhouse. The Dutch Crunch was perfect, the meats were thick and balanced, and that garlic spread smacks. Every bite had flavor, heat, and real weight to it. This is how a custom sandwich should be made. Total knockout.

The Tony: salami, mortadella, ham, provolone on dutch crunch! Plus: Cool Ranch Doritos... and A SUNKIST! Yes!

The staff were friendly as well. We looked at the menu and ordered, and then we got some of banchan / veggie side dishes for our meal. We ordered the following - Japchae - noodles appetizer. Was a very decent size for an appetizer as well. The kids really enjoyed this. Tofu Stew - i usually get this spicy, but since my daughter didn't want spice, we got it not spicy at all. Tofu was soft and the beef was alright. This dish was on the more saltier side in our opinions, but wonder if the spice they would have added would have balanced out the saltiness. The side of rice helped cut the saltiness as well. Bimbimbap - love these stone bowl rice dishes! Was pretty standard and we added a fried egg on top as well. My son was a fan of this dish. I expected a bit more. Kalbijjim - the must dish to get here! We ordered the MINI one since we were sharing everything, and we didn't add on any toppings. The dish came and it was really big and amazing. However, either the person didn't hear me or ignored me, it turned out it was the regular size as we were charged $80+ for it instead of the $30 mini size one. It was really tasty - both the short ribs on the bones and not on the bone. There were radish, potato, and rice cakes mixed in there as well. If we knew we were getting a regular one, I would have liked some toppings such as corn or something... not too sure what happened there, but it was still really tasty. We had a bit leftover and were given a box with no lid. They would seal the box with the plastic wrap thingy. Would come back again.

I tried the Numbing Spicy Minced Pork Noodles yesterday, and they were delicious. I went with…read moretheir widest noodle option, and the noodles were thick, chewy, and bouncy. The minced pork sauce clung onto them really really well. The minced pork had a nice balance of sweet and savory, although it leaned towards a little sweeter than I personally prefer. But it wasn't a problem at all, since I was able to adjust the flavor to make it more savory by using the Chicken Granules, Cumin, Chili Oil, and White Pepper condiments. Overall, it was a very satisfying dish! We also tried their new shaved ice dessert. It wasn't like the Hawaiian style shaved ice which is based on frozen water, but more like Korean style Bingsoo with a milky shaved ice base. The flavor and texture were both good, but I thought it was missing the toppings. It relied solely on syrup, and I think it would've been much better with fresh fruit or other toppings to add more flavor. It was $5.99 per order as of July 2026.

What I liked about this place was the both was not too heavy or salty: just about right plain and simple. The ribs noodle was good. Amazingly the chicken wings were very good. Got Pig Ears and Cold noodles take out at the end: very good. Not too salty. Service was quick, accurate and finely. Very clean, simple store. Not overly decorated. Parking was easy. Will come again.

On a positive note, their chicken karaage has improved. However, now and then the pieces are too small. There's no shame in ordering more. Not a big deal. For the most part, everything remained the same. Primarily dine here for the protein. The turnaround can sometimes slow down then later pick up. Had a few instances where meats came in at the very last minute. Ten stacks of beef would pile up on a single drop. Occurs back-to-back as well. Not a problem in the beginning but can be ridiculous when you are wrapping up. Their official app is no longer managed by Incentivio for some unknown reason. Unable to login or even do a password reset. Completely unusable. Besides the fallouts, it remains to be a favorite when seeking a high protein meal.
