We honestly couldn't believe that we haven't came across this place a long time ago. We didn't eat in, but we had take out. I think, Min's has the best presentation for take out, literally! It doesn't look like much, but it was exactly what you want for breakfast. Jose Omelet: 10/10 it has spinach, mushroom and apple sausage with cheese. I have never came across a place with an omelet with everything I love in an omelet without having to customize it. I literally cleaned my plate. Biscuit and gravy: 10/10 they give you 3 biscuits and gravy on the side. Biscuits were super fluffy and the gravy its self was seasoned perfectly. I always add extra pepper to mine and it was a hit for myself and my husband. Chicken Fried Steak: 10/10 my husband alwayssss gets CFS and he has stated this the best he's had because the gravy was made perfectly. I think to make your CFS taste great, the gravy has to match that energy, and it did! There is sausage in the gravy, but its like bits of sausage smashed down to the perfect bits of sausage with gravy ratio frls. Overall: 10/10 I think if they continue to make their gravy perfectly and the portions enough to make you perfectly full, this place is going to be better than great. After I got here for breakfast, I felt like a grilled cheese so I got a ham & cheese and house potatoes instead of fries (love that they were cool with that). I didn't love my ham & cheese admittedly. The bread was mushy and not great. The potatoes were so good! I had some of my partner's pancakes and they were very good without any syrup. 5 star breakfast and lunch diner! Went for the first time this week. I can't believe I have lived in Concord for 20+ years and never been here! Honestly, from the name I thought they served Chinese food. Nothing could be further from the truth. Tucked away in a corner of a shopping center (on Clayton Road behind Goodwill) this unassuming restaurant is a hidden gem. I had the BLT wrap and my friend the vegetarian omelette. Both were delicious and the portions were generous. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. The vibe inside is old school diner. Menus are under a piece of glass on the table. When you think of a breakfast diner, this place is it. It's super nostalgic, like an old school diner. The parking lot is tight, but you can always find a parking. When you walk in you just need to seat yourself and the waitress or waiter will come to you quickly. Service is great. I've been here twice and have had awesome service. They were very attentive to refill coffee and asked how we were doing twice. I ordered a BLT wrap and it was very tasty with the cream cheese inside. Been wanting to try this place for awhile. I got the chicken fried steak with gravy (7/10. Needed a lot of salt and pepper). Over easy eggs. And probably some of the best hashbrowns I've ever had. Everything was good. Just needed to add salt and pepper. Would go back and try for lunch. The reason I gave it 4 stars and not 5 was because I ordered a Pepsi and they gave me a can. (No free refills.) didn't like that. Our waitress was amazing. Super friendly and helpful. The booths are super spacious. Not small and crowded. I usually pick tables when I eat out for more room. My friends and I went for breakfast this past weekend before our girls shopping day, it was one of my friends and my first time, even though I live about 10 mins away. I had the California Benedict and it was amazing!! It was fresh and light and loaded with fresh avocado and bacon. Best part, they crumble the bacon so you get bacon with every bite vs it just sliding off cause it's hard to cut through LOL. This restaurant is so good. I came during the pandemic because they had outdoor seating. The food was a 10 everything was so yummy. Yesterday went there for lunch and the best seafood platter it came a house salad that was the best house salad ever. It had everything in and was a meal I itself. We really wanted to have a proper breakfast food for breakfast yesterday, so we decided to try Min's Kitchen. This restaurant is the seat-yourself kind of place, so once we got there, we just walked up to the table that we wanted. We really wanted to take one of the more private booths, but they were not cleaned yet, so we had no choice but to go for a more open table. I really wished they had cleaned the tables more promptly. Another thing that I noticed about the menu was that the price had significantly gone up compared to what it used to be a few months ago based on what people posted online. So with the new pricing, I felt like this restaurant was more on the expensive side, just FYI, compared to other breakfast places in the area. I decided to order their chorizo omelette, and I went with hash brown and wheat toast to come with my order. The omelette was really good. I thought it was loaded with the perfect amount of toppings: tomatoes, onions, chorizo meat, and other veggies. The hash brown, however, had a texture more like mashed potato that was pan fried. So I didn't really like that. I thought the texture was a little bit unusual. I was expecting that traditional shredded-potato type of hash brown. The toast on the side was fine. I liked the fact that the toast was properly buttered, but unfortunately the tables were not readily provided with jam or jelly. We had to flag our waitress and ask for the it, so it was pretty inconvenient. I was definitely missing that fun bit of having a variety of jams and jellies that you would typically find readily available at breakfast-restaurant tables. Overall my experience here was just OK. Our waitress was pretty friendly, but it felt super awkward when at one point she decided to use half of our table space, without checking with us first if it would be acceptable, to place her tray full of other people's food and orders. It was extremely awkward and uncomfortable. thar tray was sitting at our table and right next to our plates for a good 5-7 minutes as we were eating our food. I came here five years ago and again a few days ago. I forgot the name of the place, but when we pulled up to the parking lot, I immediately recognized the shopping mall we were in. I was feeling really hungry, so I ordered the orange juice, Florentine omelette, and biscuits and gravy. My mom bought the Denver omelette. The omelette was filling, delicious, and the portions were just generous. The spinach was cooked nicely, the cheese was melted in seamlessly, but the bacon was the star, and it showed. The omelette was cooked to perfection, and the hash brown was nicely crispy and well-fried. The biscuits and gravy definitely need to eaten right away, because the gravy started to turn a bit watery pretty quickly, and it became a chore to really scoop up the gravy and pile it back onto the biscuit. The waitresses were as friendly as one could hope for, and they made sure to take some time to crack a couple jokes with everyone eating. The noise level is room conversation level, and it got a little busy right after we sat down, but my mom and I were still able to have a room level conversation with each other and the staff. We're usually able to get a table (for 3) immediately (we've always been here on Saturdays around 12/12:15) Portions are large. My go-to is the Clayton's special and I share that with my 3 y/o who LOVES their blueberry pancakes. My husband has ordered the breakfast burrito, and a few others. What I love that this is a no frills, solid breakfast/ brunch spot. Less busy/ less wait than some other neighborhood options. We arrived on a rainy Sunday morning. Place was pretty busy. Server acknowledged us less than two minutes after seating and our drinks arrived right after. Few minutes later took our orders, explained the order after we asked and thanked us for being patient. She also helped specialize my order as I asked for whipped cream on my French Toast and she said no problem. Food arrived very warm, but not hot. Maybe it will waiting due to the amount of ppl here. Otherwise good tastes and looks good. Overall, deserves no less than 4. Would have been higher of food was hot off the grill. I absolutely LOVE Min's Kitchen (and Min herself, too!). We have been coming to Min's for breakfast and lunch for over five years now, and despite a few "oops" moments, it is our favorite breakfast place in town. And the prices are very reasonable for the high-quality food you get! My go-to is always the "Make Your Own" breakfast skillet, because I like food autonomy (lol) but also because it's a nice simple way to accommodate picky eaters and people with food allergies, etc., just pick what you like and GO! I really appreciate that flexibility and more restaurants should have a make-your-own philosophy when it comes to blendy things like skillets or salads. The food always arrives very hot and eggs are always to order. Their wheat toast is amazing, and I LOVE LOVE that they butter it beforehand so it's nice and melty when you get it. Make sure to ask for no butter if that's not your thing. Diet Coke and other soft drinks flow freely, and it has always been nice and bubbly, no flat or over-syrupy Cokes here! It is in a mini-mall in a somewhat dumpy area of Concord, but don't let that discourage you! The food is delicious, the staff are nice and even funny!, and the parking is plentiful. I am so happy Min's survived COVID-- please support our yummy restaurants. You might have a small wait on the weekends, but M-F you have your choice of booth, bar, or table seating.
