But I think we arrived at the end of a rush so it might have been the timing. The place is new and modern with plenty of parking. They took the place of Yogurt Shack. We knew it felt off once we stepped in. The staff was not present for a possible 2nd lunch rush. They were behind. They were messing up orders etc. My bf didn't get cheese on his order and I ended up with plain white bread instead of the rosemary parm. I already waited for my hot Italian and wasn't going to wait for it to be remade. That was a bummer as the plain bread is just not flavorful at all. I asked for pickles and pepperoncinis to be added to my sandwich and the two guys rolled their eyes. Every counter was filthy and sticky, especially the drink one. The rugs were really bad too. There was trash under every table. And every table was greasy and covered in cornmeal from the rolls. Nothing new as the tables and chairs are always grimy. All six if them. It's not hard to wipe down that many chairs between customers. They were messing up the food delivery orders and the in house orders after us too. After I was given a coupon to try a free Jersey Mike's sub, I decided it was finally time to cope with the yogurt shack loss. I ordered the Smokey southwestern cheesesteak. The ingredients appeared to be fresh, and it was made to order. I was able to watch the employees make a few other cold sandwiches, and all of the meat is sliced to order! I was pleasantly surprised by the cheesesteak sandwich. It was savory and cheesy, yet not overly greasy. I wouldn't normally give a five star review for a chain restaurant, especially since our small community values small businesses. The local Subway failed for that reason (along with the illegal child labor). The manager here, however, goes out his way to support his community. Last year, he was more than excited to help cater for a non-profit bocce ball tournament, and we were thrilled at how happy he was to help us succeed at the event. The sandwiches are great, though they are not necessarily top quality in terms of ingredients. The sandwiches do hold up, though, and I recommend them for all your catering needs! read more

I usually order their viral Original Italian with the rosemary parm bread and all that extra stuff. They drove all the way from Pittsburg just to get this sandwhich and they have been doing so once a week since I moved to Clayton. The manager of the establishment took the order. When my parent's made it home they found out that they were given a beef big Kahuna sandwich. My mother called and spoke to the manager and she was told that he was the one who took the order and that she told him that she wanted the beef sandwich. Horrible wait times and messed up multiple orders. Was told their grill was backed up after waiting in line for 5 minutes to even place my order, then told it was 10 minutes for my food to be ready. Took 15 minutes and my order was wrong so they had to remake it. Messed up guys grill order in front of me as well. Offered me nothing for the 30 minute wait for one damn fast food sandwich, begrudgingly gave me a fountain drink when I brought it up. Others who placed mobile orders and had far longer wait times were also complaining and staff gave attitude. I get that it was a Saturday afternoon, but there weren't that many people there to cause this amount of chaos behind the counter. After ALL that my sandwich didn't have the mushrooms on it. This location seems to skimp on the meets and juice making the sandwich not up to par with the other locations we have visited. Still good but not the same. Customer service was great and equal to other locations. Probably won't visit this Concord location again as there is another store in the neighboring city of Walnut Creek just a few miles away. read more
