    Linguisa scramble

Early on a Saturday and no wait. The pancakes instead of toast is a great option! Just had to avoid something like a biscuit plus potatoes to not have carb overload. Went with the Linguisa scramble over hash browns plus pancakes. We also had the the garden omelette with home fries and pancakes. Service here is super friendly.

Service as good but...We were so disappointed by the food. Particularly my bacon avacado sandwich.. we will not be returning.

Delivery via DoorDash has been a success with Country Waffles and has never left us disappointed. We benefit from this being closer to our home than many of the breakfast places in Pleasant Hill or Walnut Creek, which can often arrive just lukewarm or, in the case of waffles, even soggy. We've ordered fresh orange juice, the porky pig skillet, cinnamon roll french toast, and the apple bacon and cheddar waffle. Recommend it all! Especially the Cinnamon Roll French Toast. Yum! My only gripe is that, if you're craving country fried steak, they only seem to offer the sausage option through DoorDash for delivery. I'm not sure why?

Located in a plaza with a lot of other shops/restaurants, plenty of parking. The place is pretty spacious, a lot of seating and it's not super crowded. Came in on a Saturday morning and were greeted/seated right away. Staff was friendly and service was quick. Swedish fruit roll up - i love a good Swedish pancake. I got it with cinnamon apple which was way too sweet so i just scooped it out. The sweet cream it was stuffed with was pretty good tho. Would get this again but probably without any stuffing. 8/10 Biscuits and gravy - nothing special, gravy was good, not too salty and had pieces of sausage in there. Biscuits were also ok. 5/10 Waffle - good taste, not super sweet. Crispy top but soft bottom? It was almost as if they we're sitting under a heat lamp. 7/10 Overall, I'd come back again especially considering how friendly and quick service is.

We were warmly welcomed when we entered. The inside had an old fashioned vibe, with large black and white checkered floors and a few sofa fountains for making old fashioned ice cream sodas. They sell Mitchell's ice cream from San Francisco and offered a variety of flavors. They also had a lovely display of cookies, cinnamon rolls and muffin tops and a refrigerated case filled with delicious looking pies. The pies and goodies are made in house. The pies are what caught our eye. They came in a 3" bite size and a 5" size that would be perfect for sharing. The varieties of pies they offered were: Key Lime Pie, Banana Cream Pie, Chocolate Cream Pie, Pecan Pie, Dutch Apple and Mixed Berry. They also sell coffees, fountain drinks, sandwiches and salads. You can also get an ice cream sundae, floats, ice cream sodas and Italian sodas. Since we were having dinner next door, I asked if could buy the pieces and have them kept in their refrigerator until after we had our dinner. They had no problem with that. We decided to order the 5" Key Lime Pie, the 5" Banana Cream Pie and the 5" Mixed Berry Pie. We came back after dinner and they had our pies ready for us to eat. All three pies were amazing. They were so good. My favorite was the Key Lime Pie and my husband loved the Mixed Berry Pie. The Banana Cream Pie was delicious, as well, and had chunks of fresh banana in it. We haven't had good pie like this in a while. We were blown away at how good they were. I definitely will return for more pies, the next time I'm in the area. I also want to mention how friendly the staff was. They were very accommodating and fun to chat with. Excellent customer service, all around!

I tried the latte sampler and it was amazing -- such a creative and delicious way to try multiple flavors. The shop has the best nostalgic old-school soda fountain vibe with handcrafted fountain drinks, massive sundaes, fresh baked goodies, shakes, floats, and classic ice cream treats. Everything felt thoughtfully done and full of charm. The atmosphere is warm, family-friendly, and just one of those places that instantly puts you in a good mood. Can't wait to come back and try more!

They'll make your omelette with only egg whites instead of whole eggs, which saves you 290 calories. For my side, I went with the Hash Browns (220 cal) and asked for them to be made extra crispy. Even though they didn't end up as crispy as I hoped, I still thought the Hash Browns were good. The Spicy Poblano Omelette was savory, juicy, and something I really enjoyed. Beware though that this dish could be a bit too spicy for some people. Our waiter was super nice and friendly when we came here for brunch on the Fourth of July, and we were happy to see the restaurant wasn't overly crowded. It was also fun seeing so many people dressed in Fourth of July themed attire.

It appears that wastewater or sewer drainage issues nearby are allowing the smell of human waste to reach the restaurant area. The city should investigate this situation and require the property owner to properly repair and maintain the sewage drainage system.
