Staple local gathering spot. Yummy biscuit batter style cinnamon roles. Pretty good coffee. I enjoy the drip brews which are offered in several different roasts. Cozy atmosphere which is loved by all, but creates the drawback of limited seating on a busy day. read more

I got the SLEEPY LION which was good and it is nice if you want something small. Before I chose sleepy lion, I asked about two other items on the menu and they said they didn't have all the ingredients for it which I found odd because it was only about 10:30am. Quaint little joint. They've got sandwiches and serve breakfast all day long. I had the chicken salad sandwich although I don't remember what it was actually called. They've got a few two-person tables and a big table that seats eight, so it's kind of a shared seating. You could tell this is a place that locals go to. Food was good and fresh. The staff was friendly. The customer in front of me was a pretentious little prick. Can't blame the restaurant for that they were being polite to him as they should. read more

Yum Yum Yum The mochas and chai tea here is awesome! I also tried the egg bagel sandwich, a little too much cream cheese for my taste but it was still good. This is one of my traditional stops I make once I make it into lyons to visit my family. read more

This review is based solely on the coffee as I've never tried the food. I stop here whenever I pass through Lyons and it's the best coffee in between Estes and Boulder. It's always quick and usually has good customer service. I recommend the cinnamon latte or the Nutella latte, both are super tasty. read more

Nice little cafe in Lyons that serves good quick breakfast. Quiche is quite delicious. Tried the tomato mozzarella and the pesto flavors. Definitely recommend the pesto but they were both very good. Seems like people tend to stop in on their way up to Estes Park. read more

Like all the reviews. Staff is sweet. Place looks like it's being ran by someone who has never ever ever owned a restaurant. Coffee and good food. Worlds apart. I PROMISE you get more meat and flavor from Subway! I promise! and it's half the price. Go ahead, eat there, then tag me " USEFUL " . Bread was good. I give more meat on a toddlers sandwich ( we ordered2). We ordered the " hot" sandwich. Ice cold meat! and a corner of swiss cheese. If the owner is reading this - you are doomed, unless you stay open because of a lot of misdirected tourists. Not a joke, we threw the 18.99$ in the trash. This was on the way to ROMO park. I decided to grab a breakfast burrito prior to a day of hiking. The prices are extremely reasonable and the town is a very cozy area. Not too much else to add except that the place was busy with locals which seems to be a good sign. read more

I wanted to snuggle in and stay awhile here. I probably would have too, if my other half wasn't in a hurry to get back to town to prep for a business meeting. Shoot! The dog theme was well executed without being tacky or overbearing (a couch with some upholstery, art work, pastries in dog bone and dog shapes, logos, etc. The cookie I got was out of this world (I may or may not have seen a 4 year old excitedly identify and ask for the exact same kind) and they have almond milk to make chai with (as well as 3rd street or Bhakti). Score! My favorite was a little detail that I'll leave so that you can enjoy it for yourself. Check out the wi-fi login password. It will be sure to make you smile. read more

Walked in and who was singing but Jerry Garcia... I must be in the correct place then. Smiling friendly faces working and a great cup of peppermint tea. What more can you want when passing through a new town. Comfy couch to sit at and plenty of tables to enjoy a good-looking pastry. I'd stop by here anytime for a quick bev. read more

What a nice little coffee house to hang out in, in such a groovy little town. The staff is very relaxed and nice. Food is good and pastries ROCK! They are as good as Dean and Deluca's in NYC. The atmosphere is eclectic meets mountain town, so there is a lot of character! It isn't very 'polished' which makes it feel warm and comfortable. My late was delicious... but I particularly enjoyed the pumpkin bread with chunks of dark chocolate! I give it two thumbs up! read more

In the cute town of Lyons on the way to Estes Park, this coffee shop and eatery was welcoming and easy to get to. Parking was open just a few stores away from the café. When you walk in you immediately feel warm and welcome. The menu continues the dog theme with "Water bowl" meaning beverages, with sizes ranging up to the large called "hound". The eatery menu is called "Dog bowl". I didn't eat there so I can't comment on the menu but it sure smelled good in there. I ordered a "hound" sized latte with mocha syrup - only 2 pumps - and it was delicious. It cost $5.15. The WiFi password also kept with the dog theme it's Goodboy****. I was also told by a nearby resident that their motto is "down, sit, stay". Haha. I'll definitely be back. Those who frequent the place appear to have a coffee punch card that the store alphabetically at the café. Eat in or take out on your way to Estes Park. read more

We happened upon this place on our way back down from Estes Park. Stopped in to get a coffee. The cinnamon rolls called out to me. Had them heated up and without question they are the best I've ever had! Also loved the Jazzy Java coffee. Very friendly staff! Lots of fun art featuring dogs. read more

I stopped in here for coffee and a bagel one Wednesday morning and couldn't have been more pleased with the place! The baristas are kind and helpful and the lattes are delightful! I got a BLT everything bagel which I'd eat again in a heartbeat and a cinnamon roll which was a perfect treat. The art and eclectic tables and chairs make this place cozy and inviting. This place was packed on a Saturday morning, with all the outside tables full of coffee, baked goods and conversations. The coffee itself was really delicious, some of the best I've had in Colorado, and mine was gone before we made it back to our rental house. read more

One of two fine coffee shops in Lyons. Has more indoor seating than outdoor, mainly because it is situated on Main St. and doesn't have the luxury of a private patio, but there are tables outside. The coffee is Silver Canyon, which is a good brewer, and the homemade goods are quite good. Friendly, local vibe and a good place to get a good cup o' joe and see folks. A bunch of (good) old guys meet there every morning and the conversation is always lively and entertaining. Stop by and give them your business. read more

I'm lowering my rating by one star. I still think the staff is friendly and the environment is nice, but my past three visits there have been a number of flies buzzing around and it's distracting while I'm trying to drink my coffee or get work done on my laptop. My other complaint is that I sometimes experience a slow internet connection when I connect to their wifi. Maybe someone else was connected and running video but the reason I go there is to work on my laptop. I might have to go to Stone Cup next time. read more
