My first time stopping in and was pleasantly surprised by the super cute ambiance. We sat at the bar since it was early in the evening. I decided to order food and my pasta was pretty good. Not a bad portion size and filling. The drinks were also good and the bartender was good also. I plan to go back.

My date and I came here for dinner ahead of a Candlelight concert and enjoyed their Miami Spice menu. We both agreed it was an interesting combination of flavors (kind of like a Hispanic and Mediterranean came together to cook dinner). The prices here are pretty outrageous (not sure why - it's Little Havana and this isn't exactly a Michelin star restaurant) so definitely glad Miami Spice was still going on when we went. My favorite was the steak and coconut rice; my date particularly enjoyed the branzino.

My friend and I had reservations at this restaurant at 5 PM. We arrived early and it was raining. So we were waiting by the front door. After a bit, this lady comes out and offers for us to wait for the rain to pass inside and sit at the restaurant. I had informed her that we actually had reservations for 5 PM. She did not know and immediately welcomed us to sit anywhere. She clarified that she's one of the owners but she was covering that day. I thanked her for letting us in early before the restaurant officially opened, especially without her knowing of our reservation. She gave us the menus and turned on the music once we chose a table. My friend and I ordered a cocktail with the bartender, who approached our table and provided some suggestions. A few minutes later we placed our order from the Miami Spice Menu. We tried the meatball tostones, house lamb empanadas, branzino filet with coconut rice and fries, pavlova and eclipse- the night fall. Everything was so tasty and delicious. My least favorite dish was the lamb empanadas. They were not bad but I'm just not a big lamb eater. However, the sauces it came with were delicious. The meatball tostones were also very good The green sauce elevated the dish. The branzino was tasty but my favorite part of the main course was the coconut rice. It took rice to a whole level with the crispy coconut on top. I wish I had that recipe. As to the desserts, I loved both of them. I'm not a big chocolate eater either but the eclipse was delicious. I would, however, order the pavlova next time I come. It was sweet and light. As to the drinks, I tried the Ooopa, which was very delicious. If you like margarita, I would recommend this drink. The bartender also surprised us with a welcome complimentary drink, which was also delicious! The bartender also made sure we liked everything we ordered. Before we left, he also gave us a chip for us to have a complimentary drink on our next visit. The owner also came by and ensured we liked everything, which we did. The decoration of the restaurant reminded me of being in Greece. It was decorated with the evil eyes on the tables, which I thought was very unique. On one side of the restaurant, there's a very nice photo opportunity area where there's a swing with flowers around it. The bathroom was also very nice decorated, clean smelled good. I would definitely return to this establishment as I felt like I was at another country with the decoration, delicious food and superb customer service.

I found Bargean on OpenTable while looking for a new place to try, and it caught my attention because in most of their photos the tables were empty -- I figured it might be a new spot, so we decided to check it out. The place has a nice design and is located on Calle 8. When we arrived, it was very quiet, almost empty, which surprised us. We later found out they've only been open for six months. The service was great -- our server Natalie was very attentive, and even the chef came out to greet us, which we appreciated. The food was good, reasonably priced, and overall, we had a pleasant experience. I'm not sure if they need more time or better promotion, but I think this place has potential. It would be good for private events or family gatherings. We'd definitely go back and recommend giving it a try.

Beautifully decorated. The perfect balance of sophistication and comfort. Must order the ceviche and the pavlova. Cocktail of choice was the Smokey Still Waters and that didn't disappoint. Welcoming environment from the moment we entered until the moment we exited. Definitely going back.

I'm not from here, but these were some of the best nachos I've ever had truly. The owners are so kind and the service was excellent.

The sweet potato fries were the perfect side. I've also been here several times to watch Florida Panthers games and World Cup matches, and it's always a fun atmosphere. The ambiance is lively without feeling overwhelming, making it the perfect place to catch a game while enjoying good food and drinks with friends or coworkers. The staff is always friendly, attentive, and quick to make sure you have everything you need. The menu is simple, basic American menu items (burgers, wings, nachos etc.). Nothing special about the food, along with the beverages. No special Marlins cocktails or a fully stoked bar. The service at Recess needs improvement. We arrived after the game started, and chose to sit at the high tops. We were told there is a minimum $75/person fee. Our server then told me for the three of us (2 adults and a child) that we'd have to meet $50. No problem, let's be honest we normally spend more than $150 at a Marlins game on any given day. We were seated right next to the bullpen and my son enjoyed that! We were not aware of the 10% stadium service fee or the 20% auto gratuity charge (see our receipt). We weren't given silverware, plates, or napkins when our anchors arrived. The employee that dropped off the food didn't speak English either. We had to lookout for our server for assistance. The Lounge didn't get crowded til the end of the game so not sure why VIP service wasn't provided with a lot of servers around. I would return to Recess (without a child) for the vibrant game experience and ground level outer field experience. Marlins won the game and the post party that they allowed us to go on the field after was really fun!

A Hidden Gem with Flavor and Vibe…read more Stopped in for a casual evening and left already planning my return. Biscayne Bay Brewing nails the balance between laid-back charm and elevated flavors. I started with a margarita that was surprisingly delightful--bright, balanced, and not overly sweet. It set the tone perfectly. I also sampled one of their signature beers, and it was everything you'd want from a local brew: crisp, flavorful, and clearly crafted with care. For bites, we shared the fish dip and hummus--both winners. The fish dip had that smoky, briny depth that pairs beautifully with a cold drink, and the hummus was smooth, fresh, and generously portioned. The location itself is a vibe: welcoming, stylish, and perfect for catching up with friends or winding down after a long day. Whether you're a local or just passing through, Biscayne Bay Brewing is worth the stop.

We went to watch the NY Knicks beat the SA Spurs 94-90 to win the 2026 NBA Finals! The place was packed with lots of energy. We managed to find seats luckily. Slightly overcharged. The burger did not taste good at all and there were 8-10 little fries without any flavor. We asked our server to please have the manager stop by. She reluctantly agreed. I try to be as honest as I can when leaving a review, and as I said in my original review, Batch had always been great our prior visits (food and service). I completely understand with the World Cup going on, that not everything will go smoothly. Thank you Batch for getting in touch, we'll be back. ********** Original Review: Previous experiences had been awesome at Batch. But last night (because of the World Cup?) it was NOT pleasant. 1-Our reservation, which was confirmed via texts (with an s), email, phone calls (also with an s), couldn't be found and when it finally was, we still had to wait another 20 minutes for a table. People who were in line WITHOUT a reservation (I know because I had asked them before I went inside) were seated while we were still waiting for our table!!! (Because there were 3 of them and "we were just 2"). 2-The music even with the SuperBowl is always on a decent level, where you can have a conversation. Last night it was horribly loud. It's a bar, not a nightclub. 3- After (finally getting seated), no one came to take our order. After waiting another 10 minutes we left. I gave 3 stars for the food (although we didn't get the chance to order any), because usually it's quite good. We left Batch, went to a restaurant, where we had a great time, excellent service, and exquisite food. All the while able to watch the game and have a conversation. I am leaving this review as a constructive feedback, because Batch in recent months was an otherwise nice place to go to. My advice: Don't chew more than you can swallow. Last night was chaotic and unpleasant.
