Food: 4/5 No complaints, the food wasn't bad at all. Service: 4/5 We waited for about 10-15 minutes before someone greeted us but once a server showed up, the service was great. 4/5: Dated but clean

Food was good but service was very very slow. Our group of four came in at 11:00 and we were literally the only customers in the restaurant. We ordered quesadillas, a salad, and burger and fries. Everyone as happy with our food but our server kept disappearing. I finally went to track him down so we could get our check.

We had a nice dinner here, while staying at Embassy Suites . We split a Club Sandwich, which was delicious. They have a great assortment of drinks as well. The ambiance is nice and super convenient, right in hotel. Service was good, but friendliness wait staff could have been better

Since this is a new restaurant to the area, we were very impressed with the service and the menu. Especially the list of tasty appetizers. I had the New York steak, medium rare cook perfectly with green beans and twice fried potatoes? And my wife had the Bucatini Pasta. Our waiter really hustled and was on top of it for all the Restaurant customers .

Had the Barcotta salad with the salmon and it was delicious. The salmon was cooked perfectly. The service was fast even though it was busy.

I went to Manhattan Beach Post for brunch on March 27, 2021…read more Their famous Bacon Cheese Biscuit was absolutely delicious, and the Maple Butter served with it was amazing too! The Egg Benedict, Chimichanga, and coffee were all delicious as well. Manhattan Beach used to be one of my favorite places to visit, and I went there quite often back then. Looking at these photos makes me want to go back again soon.

Our server was very attentive, kind, patient, and accommodating. For example, when my sister in law asked if there was a kid's menu for her children, the server politely stated that they didn't have one. However, he immediately picked up on the fact that these kids were highly fussy and picky eaters, and offered up buttered noodles, something that was not on the menu. The kids ended up loving this. I, on the other hand, was disappointed with most of the food I had. If I had to rate the food, it would be 3 stars. I ordered the MB Post Burger, which comes with a 1/2 pound grilled patty, American Cheese, applewood bacon, and honey chipotle aioli, between English muffin buns. I added a sunny side up egg to it for an extra few bucks. The burger was messy, and difficult to eat. Ended up having to eat it with a fork and knife. I expected the egg to be a bit runny, but it was cooked all the way through. All in all, it wasn't enjoyable to eat. The crispy fries were not any better. To me, they tasted overly fried. The only thing I thought was exceptional was the bacon cheddar buttermilk biscuit with the whipped honey butter. It was buttery and crispy goodness. This item alone is worth coming back to this restaurant. Overall, this place is a solid 4 star restaurant. If you're planning on visiting this place, I have to warn you that parking may be a real pain to find since the area is very popular with beach goers. Things were exacerbated over the weekend due to a volleyball tournament. Had to drive around for like 30 minutes to find parking.

We had a great meal! Everything was very flavorful and delicious!…read more- croquetas de jamon- perfect little bites that were crispy on the outside and creamy on the inside - albo scallops (tin can) - this was probably my favorite, tasted good on all the other bites and on its own - beet and cherry gazpacho - light and refreshing on a hot day Pa amb tomaquet & jamon iberico - classic combo, the half portion was enough for 2 Fideos negro - sooo flavorful, ok the components of the sauce, squid ink and squid were really nice together Pork chop- had a delicious fennel salad with it and the crust on the pork was so good! Maybe just a kiss over cooked for me and could have been a little more juicy but it would only take it from great to perfect Tortilla esponola - ordered for our daughter but we ate more than half, oops! Cocktail - playa de Vega- Smokey, a little sweet, what's not to love Espresso martini - we ordered simple vodka espresso martinis, not their on menu one, was traditional and no complaints Tarta de Santiago- almond cake, was a good ending, the cake had a nice texture, not overly sweet, the whipped cream was great and the orange was a nice addition Definitely will be coming back! Our server basically ordered for us which was perfect. Ambiance was great and the music was good. We sat up on the balcony which was nice and intimate.

There is seating both on the main level and upstairs, along with bar seating. We ordered the anchoa (anchovy bread), pedcadito Fritos (fried anchovy) and Bacalao fritters (fried cod fritters) to start. My favorite was the fritters and my husband loved the fried anchovy. We both liked the bread dish but felt like we didn't need to get it next time. We also tried the pa Amb tomaquet and mojama and marcona almonds (tuna loin). These were good together, but also not my favorite of the night. We ended with the bistec, salad, octopus and tortilla espanola. It was a filling and flavorful combination of food and from those I enjoyed the octopus the most! I think we paid ~$250 or so for all our courses and were definitely full by the end. Street parking only, parked at a meter on 5th street.

We started with the ceviche in Clamato with pieces of crab and avocado served with a delicious tortilla chips. I absolutely loved the flavor profile and couldn't get enough of the Clamato sauce. Then we moved to the weekend only special sea urchin, which Stephanie's parents personally bring down from Santa Barbara for weekend service. I'm usually indifferent at best to sea urchin, but this was excellent Then we shared the Jonah Crab Fusilli, another winner. I was driving, but hubby ordered a banhattan and it was another winner. They also have some beer and wine options as well as a full bar. Though very full by this point, just couldn't resist the pretzel bread pudding. The bread portion was crispy on the outside and warm and soft on the inside with a delicious salty caramel sauce. Served with a very smooth and delectable scoop of ice cream. There's indoor and outdoor seating. If you want to sit inside best to make a reservation. We did not have reservations, but were lucky to get outside seating. Service was fluid with different people coming around to ensure everything was tidy. Really enjoyed one of the staff, a young girl who cleared our table and delivered some of the dishes. Loved her chill surferish vibes.

BF luvd his Koshihkari rice dish with shrimp, blue crab and uni. So why only four stars?? My Chilean sea bass was overcooked: dry and not tender. The sauce and veggies saved the dish. But it would've been stellar if the sea bass was perfectly cooked. Gave this note to our server to pass along to the kitchen. Server comped us a free dessert. FWD: Fish should not be a miss for a seafood restaurant, especially when Chilean sea bass is a pretty forgiving fish to cook. Maybe it was one off???
