The young staff was friendly, polite, and helpful, offering recommendations that made it easy to decide without spending too much time reviewing the menu. I ordered the BBQ Tater, which was absolutely huge and easily large enough to share. It was flavorful, satisfying, and one of the highlights of the meal. My son enjoyed his pulled pork sandwich, though he felt the cheesy potatoes were just average compared to the rest of the food. The prices were very reasonable and competitive for a BBQ restaurant, especially considering the portion sizes. Low top and patio seating. Overall, we had a positive experience and would gladly stop again when we're in the area.

The house bbq sauce on the tables was a watery mess. The "hot sauce" was better than the BBQ sauce but also very thin. The smoked turkey was the highlight. The brisket was very fatty and flavorless. No bark to speak of. The weird part, most BBQ joints are priced per pound, 1/2 or 1/4 pound. It looked that way on their menu, however they seem to just eyeball it. Ordered 1/4 pound of turkey and got 2 slices. Someone else in our party got 3 slices. Both of us paid a flat rate. Skip this place if you're truly into BBQ. Also, the flies were driving us crazy.

Tracy was super flexible - we changed the order up a few times and helped us decide exactly what we needed for our little party, and I also picked it up earlier than planned. No problems! The food was packed cleanly and efficiently, and there was no problem getting it home without spilling a gallon of baked beans in my Subaru. We had pulled pork, a specialty of the house, and the usual suspects for sides. They provide three different sauces from three distinct regions, which is great. A bunch of our guests were from Saint Louis, so the KC style sauce went fast. I'm partial to the mustard sauce because it is so unusual to find in this part of the country. They're all good. People also really liked the slaw. Everybody had a great time - but maybe ate a little too much! These guys are from GA, and know their way around a smoker. I will definitely be doing this again. Thanks!

The line was super long when we arrived and we waited about 20 minutes to order. His family said it was the longest they've ever seen it. I ordered the Mushroom Belford Burger, medium well, with no onions. My partner got the same but with the onions and cooked medium. The rest of our group each got the Signature Burger, medium rare. We also split two orders of large fries. My partner got a root beer and I got a cherry cream soda. Everything was delicious! It was absolutely worth the wait. My burger was more towards well done than medium well, which is something I see a lot and I think I'm just going to start ordering medium any time I get a burger now. It was juicy and delicious, and the rosemary garlic aioli was delicious! The fry sauce was also some of the best I've had, and we left the cup scraped clean. The fries tasted fresh and were well-cooked. My partner said the root beer was great and my cherry cream soda was delicious. I had gotten a small and I was contemplating going back to order another in a large, it was that good! All of the employees we interacted with were super friendly. It was a bit of a struggle to find a table outside just because of the holiday weekend, but we found a perfect table that fit all of us under a tree. We took a little walk by the pasture and read the info signs after dinner which was a great way to end the evening. This place is fantastic and well worth the wait! It is pretty expensive (we paid about $146 after a 20% tip) so it may be better for special occasions, but it is all so fresh and pure that it's very much worth the price you pay. My partner and I don't live in Durango but his family does, so I'm hopeful we will be back the next time we visit.

Located on the main drag leading out of town toward Silverton, it seems popular. There is a small parking lot that we were fortunate enough to find spot close to the door. My wife chose a chicken salad sandwich and I chose the ham and Gruyere sandwich. They come with, in my opnion, rather flavorless tortilla chips. However, my sandwich is really a panini, toasted on the outside. It was very flavorful with a crunch on the outside due to being toasted but a chewy inside due to the ham and cheese. Really, a great texture, in my opinion. My wife felt the cashier had a bit of an attitude when she needed one of the soda dispensers changed out due to be empty. Like he was put out.
