Every time we've been here, the food never disappoints. It is absolutely delicious every single time. The service is top-notch and the ambience is a vibe you can't get over if you can sit on the back patio after 4 o'clock that's where it's at. read more

I met my S.O. for a late lunch this past week. We were sat in the back bar area, with high tables and chairs. Not my favorite type of table as I am shorter and having to keep my feet on the footrest or dangle them is uncomfortable. The A.C. was also running on a rainy cold day. I kept my jacket on throughout the meal, which is a little uncomfortable. On to the food, I ordered a shrimp scampi, which came with spinach, asparagus, and red pepper. Lots of veggies and shrimp, with smaller portion of pasta. It was delicious. My S.O. ordered the beef bordelaise, with gravy, mashed potatoes, and asparagus. Unfortunately, the beef bordelaise had several cold bites in it. Thankfully the mashed potatoes were hot so he could mix the bites. He did not ask them to address it. He definitely does not like to send things back, and cause issues with the kitchen. I would have sent it back, especially with the chilly day and AC running. Our waitress was friendly; she checked on us periodically and took empty plates quickly (huge plus!) and brought the check quickly. Happy to eat lunch here, but if I go there again, I will ask to sit in the front at a regular table. read more

We came on a Saturday evening and would suggest joining waitlist online since they do not take reservations. Ordered Bavarian pretzel for app, honey mustard was good- cheese was more like Mac and cheese type cheese. Tried a Back country Hugo for drink and bowl of salmon chowder. Server was extremely friendly! read more

A nice spot to hang out and grab a beverage and some food. The back patio beer garden area is cute. There are a couple of outdoor tables in front of the restaurant as well, but they're adjacent to the street so I think the back patio has a nicer ambiance. The inside is a typical pub environment, with booths and tables and some TV's mounted around the bar areas. Our server was great. Food was okay. The "smashburger" just seemed like a regular burger, and it was pretty well done. The fries were good. I would say typical bar food, nothing special. read more

We were wandering around downtown Durango late Tuesday morning looking for lunch and quickly realized many places are closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays during the mid-April off-season. Thankfully, we came across Carver Brewing Co. and were happy to see it open. They offer a great variety of local beers, including options to take some to go. We tried the Double IPA and the Hazy--both were delicious. They also have wine and mimosas available if beer isn't your thing. Bo (or Beau) was our bartender and truly made the experience. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and had a genuine smile the entire time. His energy was infectious and really brightened the atmosphere. Definitely a must-stop when passing through Durango. read more

We came in about 3:00pm in the afternoon. Had a group of 8 and the whole bar was open. We sat down and enjoyed some great beer, delicious nachos, and a good time. The service was variable, the bar tender was very annoyed with us and was pretty rude when we first got there. She eventually warmed up, but definitely wouldn't call the service welcoming. read more

This is another great burger spot! Located right in downtown Durango so parking is a bit difficult but the food is worth it! I got an amazing burger and "fries". More like potato wedges. We are outside and the weather and service was incredible! What really stole the show though was their desserts!!!!!! I couldn't decide so I got two! First I got the cream cheese zucchini cake and OMG! Soooooo good. The second option was the bourbon pecan skillet! We shared this one and I could have eaten the entire thing. I never order dessert but I could not pass these up! Must try in Durango! read more

Our family went on a 9-day roadtrip and this was everyone's favorite meal. My son gobbled up the kids Mac and cheese (about which he is very picky) and the grown ups loved the bowls with all of the fresh veggies, tofu for the vegetarian and chicken for the not-so-vegetarian. Great beer selection and the beer garden was the perfect place to enjoy it all. read more

We stopped into Carver's for dinner while out exploring the downtown area. This is a solid stop for larger groups that will likely not all agree on what they are in the mood to eat. Carver's has you covered with options. And, despite being a Brewery, they offered wine and cocktails - thank you! Our server was very patient (thank you, again as we had a large party and several young ones who are quite the picky eaters!). As you might imagine, we ordered a variety of food and everyone left happy. No complaints, no barely touched food, no whining. Carver's FTW. read more

We had a great time in this brewery, enjoyed very much the Green Chile Chicken Pasta even if mine came with almost no chicken or maybe no chicken but the flavor and seasonings were spectacular and I would go back just for the same. We were seated in a basement like place and when I asked about the patio it turned out it was reserved for a private party Beer was good, nothing to write home about but traditional from a brewery took one for the lack of protein Can't say anything bad about the service, she did very well read more

My band, RELAAY, was recently on tour and had a show in Durango. We walked along Main Street, looking for a restaurant with several options, and ended up at Carver Brewing Co. It was a Wednesday night around 7 p.m., and the place was quite busy. Although our server was responsible for many tables, he did a great job welcoming us, checking in throughout our meal, and making sure we had everything we needed. I ordered a burger with no bun, zucchini, and Sidewinder fries, and it was delicious! Everyone in the band ordered different items and was equally impressed with the portion sizes and quality of their food. Highly recommend. read more

The Italian sandwich was one of the best Ive ever had. Im from NY so that is saying alot!

Our bar tender here was exceptional. Better than any other place we stopped on our week long trip. Very knowledgeable, friendly, and gave us extra stickers when we asked for them. Beer was very good and he always asked if we wanted another round at the right time. Atmosphere is cozy and we enjoyed sitting in the front bar area to watch the game. Solid place for lunch if you're in the mood for burgers and beer. We stopped in and sat at the bar which seemed quicker than waiting for a table (there's indoor and outdoor seating). The bartender was welcoming and offered samples to help us decide what we were in the mood to drink; my husband opted for one of the IPAs which he really enjoyed, and I had a ginger beer which was light. For food, I had the green chile burger, and my husband had the tatanka (a buffalo burger). The burgers are smash burger style and hit the spot. You can choose between chips and salsa or fries or upgrade to another side. read more

We were visiting from out of town and walking along Main and decided to try this place. The service was very good, friendly employees and waitress. The temperature outside was 96 and it wasn't much cooler inside the restaurant. As far as the food, it was very disappointing! The burger was overcooked and under seasoned. The green chili soup also lacked seasoning. I would not return and not recommend this place. read more

We sat on the back patio and the weather was glorious! Food was really good as we had cheeseburgers, salad, and quesadillas. Service was amazing! Bavarian Pretzel hit the spot. The smashburger tasted very good. The outside vibe was nice.

We came here for dinner after a weekend of backpacking. The menu had some unique things on it and my husband liked the beer he got. My food was good and came out quickly. My husband got a dish that had chips and salsa and it was very clearly just store bought. But the meat that came with it was good. Even though the food came out quickly, the service was very slow, despite it not being that busy. My water was never refilled and we had to sit around for a while and try to find the waitress to get our check. read more

Another really good dinner here last night. We sat out in the beer garden on a cool night. Like last time, we both enjoyed a few of the nutbrown ales. We started with the pretzel, which was hot and yummy. We each could've eaten our own. From there, I had the chicken sausage green chile pasta, which was rich and delicious, while my wife enjoyed her Mac and cheese. She had hoped it'd be a little bigger, but that just left more room for ice cream later. Service was fairly prompt throughout. Good beer, food, and service. read more

Amazing!! I love when Yelp! is helpful on our travels so we don't waste money on bad food. This restaurant had friendly fast service, great seating options for all sizes of groups, amazing kids menu that even includes a fun branded frisbee!, and most importantly the food was amazing! Our group had the kids meal pasta with cheese sauce and a chicken strip on top, kids quesadilla, tatanka burger with horseradish slaw, and the grilled cheese with tomato soup. Everything was delicious and we were all full. Our server Annalise was super kind and helped with all the kids requests. The kids also loved the option of turning their soda into a float! Glad I checked the reviews and chose this place. read more

Overall 4.5. Alex was a phenomenal, providing friendly service. The tatanka burger was excellent, juicy, cheesy, a bit of spice. Wonderful. The fries are good, and I would personally order them extra crispy next time. The chicken enchiladas were quite good and the beans with them very good. Will revisit. Had the purgatory pils, not traditional as it is an imperial and hits the right notes for that combo. Would have another, but early in the day. read more

Decided to order takeout from Carver Brewing because their website made it easy and their menu looked good. Our group tried a bit of everything including enchiladas, burgers, and salads. Picking up the food at the bar was easy, but when we asked for extra condiments like barbecue sauce (it wasn't a choice online), we were told that it would have to be ordered from the kitchen and it would be a wait. Since our food was already sitting out we didn't get any. After returning home we realized our enchilada order was incorrect and didn't take into account one of the requested modifications. However, the green chile sauce was quite good. Burger was just okay, the bun was much too small and the burger fell apart. Salads were also just alright for the price. Maybe this spot is better dining in! read more
