Good food and excellent servers. One of the best Applebees I've been to. Ordered steaks, cooked perfectly and our server said if we did the two for $25 would be better. Saved us some money too. read more

Ordered the 2 for $25 meal via Uber Eats -- food arrived with utensils and some promo flyers, which was a nice touch. Everything was packaged well and tasted decent, especially after a long day. read more

Disappointed with Applebee's. Service was terrible. I ordered a bottled beer and did not get it until all the food arrived. I couldn't even eat the burger. Food was terrible. Will not be going back to this establishment. read more

Bourbon St. Impossible Burger so delicious!!! Vegetarian delight! Service great, ambiance nice cool quiet. My friend loves her blackened salmon. Opportunity to donate to Alice's lemonade stand too--so generosity in addition to leaving big tip for great service. Going to become a regular! read more

Came in to have a quick drink. The bartender was rude and wasn't attentive. The manager was very professional but the bartender had some issues. I won't be back. read more

I literally never eat at Applebees, and this meal reminded me of why. Save your money and go get a good meal from somewhere else. I could have bought a can of soup from Walmart and been more satisfied than I was with this hot mess. First off, there was a terrible odor coming from the bar that immediately made me want to leave. It smelled like old dish rags over there. That should have been my clue to leave, but it was late and we had been driving all day. For the price we paid, I was expecting a much better dining experience. This will be my last time spending any of my money at an Applebees. read more

Yummy yummy yummy wait staff was excellent I ordered the bbq ribs , shrimp, wings all you can eat they brought French fries twice and the salad was delicious read more

Food was good and very reasonably priced. Server, (maybe Mikala) was very friendly and took very good care of our party. Thank you.

Our first visit to Applebee's in Durango CO was a very nice experience. We ordered the 2/$32 chicken and shrimp. Salads were served first and very quickly... delish!!! We were still working on our Salads when the food arrived, Isabelle W apologized which was not necessary because we were ready to eat. Chicken and shrimp were both moist and delicious, garlic mashed were very flavorful as well. The focal point of this review is our server Isabelle W. What a breath of fresh air with a positive attitude. Very professional yet personable with a very inviting smile and eager to serve. Thank You we'll be back read more

Wanna leave a 0 stars but can't. Worst Applebbe's in America! Service stinks no one wants to be there. Food so bad! Last 2 times order to go. Blonde dessert was as hard as a brick! Called and they did nothing to make it better. Tonight was last straw. Order to go. Steak so hard and tough can't even chew it! Stay away! It's bad. read more

This is Durango's only non fast food restaurant and they're just really disappointing. I tried to order the 2/$26 online but their options are more limited than they used to be and although the ribs are available online for an upcharge of $7.49 but they wouldn't do it at the store. The manager said it wasn't available and so I politely left because I wasn't passionate about a whole lot more since last time I got the 2/$26 deal, my artichoke dip appetizer wasn't even half full of dip and the chicken and Broccoli pasta dish had almost no sauce and so I left. This location in particular had some very good food during COVID and I'm really disappointed as to what I've experienced since and for real, you'd think they'd read their reviews and get their act together. I almost always try to favor our local eateries but sometimes they're not available and Applebees would be a great option for a local option if they tried to do a good job. The young lady that started to take my order couldn't have been nicer and she even tried to add the ribs on the 2/$26 option but when her manager said is wasn't available and I tried to take a photo of their online menu options to attach but it wouldn't work. Seriously Applebees, get your act together and flourish in the town of Durango! read more

Not as good as it used to be. We've gone to this restaurant for the past 3+ years. Always had great food. Always referred friends there. Went yesterday and the place was nearly empty at noon! Used to be very busy. Food was not good. Odd smell inside. Only one recognizable server which makes me think all others have left. Will not be going again.., read more

If there was a negative star I would give it. Visiting from out of state. I ordered the steak well. Our party of 5 received our food. The vegetables were ice cold and the steak was raw. They took the steak back to fix it. It took so long. Everyone was done eating for awhile. I had still not received my food. We told them to forget it. They comped it even after he said that he didn't know how to comp it. I am leaving hungry and going thru McDonald's I'm pissed. The manager made one appearance. I never ever yelp but this was absolutely horrible . read more

The artichoke dip was half frozen, chips were stale, broccoli was cold rib eye steak was 1/4 in thick and tough. Our bill came to over $100. It was very very over priced. Never again. Our server was nice. That is about it. read more

Zero stars for Applebee's Durango. Our party stepped in to this establishment, they were clearly not busy with only a few patrons. The host appeared to arrange a seating for our party of 12. We specifically asked for three tables of four. He said his manager would allow us to sit at two - six top tables. Said it would be too much trouble to have our party on separate tables!!? We were puzzled on his logic. We had older folks in our party and they were much more comfortable sitting at regular sized tables. His staff was not understanding his logic either. We chose to leave instead of argue our point. The manager never came out to address his concerns and left it to his staff. I wonder how his management would take to his refusal to sit us as requested!!? If I could rank a zero star I would. read more

If I could do a zero, I would. Service zero. Food zero. Culture zero. Durango Applebee's haa to be one of the worst in the country. You can tell nobody wants to be there that works there. And it shows in a big way. No more. Last one was today when I ordered a Blondie Sunday got in the car to take it back and the brownie was a brick... Even after microwaving it it wouldn't soft had to go back to get toppings that they forgot. Bye-bye Applebee's. read more

Stayed at the Downtown Durango Inn and decided to stop here for dinner since it was so convenient. I will also mention that it was already after 9pm and our options we're limited. My friends and I we're a bit disappointed that they were out of many popular and new menu items that we had to keep finding other things to order. We saw a menu on the table mentioning happy hour specials from 9p till close. It would have been nice if our waitress pointed that out so later we asked to order an appetizer. When our food came out one of our orders was wrong. The manager came out to apologize and we ordered something else and also got a free dessert which was nice to offer. The lack of menu options and waitress not topping off our drinks as much or letting us know about specials made me feel like I should have gone somewhere else to get better service. I would probably recommend checking something else in town. read more

So we were refused drink service because my girlfriend's ID was Digital on account of having her wallet stolen. Our waiter was insanely rude and WRONG saying he couldnt take it because it was on the phone. This old technophobe could not comprehend that this wasnt simply a picture of an ID, but rather a STATE CERTIFIED government app from the State of Colorado. Mind you this is scannable even at dispensaries. This is applebee's, just look at it. Upon trying to explain it to him he told us we can "argue until we're blue in the face" You know what dude maybe you want to argue until you're blue in the face with the Better Business Bureau and the division of Alcohol Tabbaco and Firearms. Close call with the health department too because old guy One Eyed Willy or whatever is waiting tables with a missing eye and open socket. Technically legal for front of house employees but gross. Cover that thing up C U Next Tuesday people are trying to eat. Dont be wrong and adamant at the same time it's not a good combo. Needless to say we left and he recommended we go to Straiter's, guess he knew they would take valid ID. Other than this one nuisance of a creature the foods fine. read more

Took an hour and thirty minutes hust for a cesar salad, and thirty more minutes for the rest.

We just ate here and the food was good. Service "was" ok but the server , Vontressa, wasn't happy with the cash tip we left and she told us to take our tip. She made our experience here worse by her comment and unprofessional manner. I don't recommend eating here as the wait staff and servers are unprofessional. If tipping is an issues maybe she needs to find other options for employment as she lacks customer service, professionalism and is very rude for her comment. read more

No bacon on my *bacon* cheddar chicken grille sandwich. No bbq on it either. No side with my kid's meal. Good job.

Restaurant was next to hotel , should've read the reviews first . Ordered Rib-eye , medium rare with frys . Steak comes out and it was very well done , sent it back . New steak comes out and it was medium-rare borderline rare , so I tried cutting around rare areas but the meat did not taste right . To add insult , the cook just let my plate sit there in the kitchen while he prepared the steak as the frys were now cold ! The soup was good , which they charged me for , and the server was nice . Neat and clean, with standard comfort food. Service was very good. Server Shawndor was excellent, prompt and courteous.

I ordered from door Dash to get some hot wings and sure enough, it tastes decent. Delivery time was more that past, but it still worked.

My experience and rating is pretty consistent with the average 2-1/2 out of 5 stars overall Yelp rating. I met family here who I hadn't seen in years. There were 4 of us. We were quickly seated. It was a bit of a wait to order, no problem yet. We waited NINETY minutes for our food to come out. What's worse is we could never get the server's attention. The food was decent. And the price was fair. But the wait time and service were terrible. Manager hint: most of the user complaints are about food wait times! read more

Since the remodel a very dependable and delicious food offerings. Well trained servers who add to the dining experience.

During COVID-19 we needed a place where we could get takeout food. We tried Applebees and could not be happier. Call in was easy and the order taker was very polite and helpful even saying "Yes, Sir". Wow! Not common anymore. But more than that the order came out to our truck promptly and the servers were fabulous. We went twice...May 5 and May 24. We had two Oriental Chicken Salads with extra dressing and fried chicken cut up on top. Perfect. We were given an extra cup of ice for our iced tea. Great experience and we shall be back. The first server was very nice but we did not get her name, the second visit we asked and the server's name was Chastity. The servers wore masks and the food containers were perfect. I have lots of respect for this restaurant trying to do the best possible job in providing great food and coping with the virus. read more

Loved our meal on Christmas Eve! Our waitress Von was great! Very attentive service:)

The waitress was decent, however the food was terrible. The salmon was dry and the tiny steak was not good.

We visited this Applebee's tonight and weren't impressed. My steak had a blob of gristle in the middle that was inedible. The baked potato was cold, and huge amounts of sour cream and butter were heaped on top. The broccoli was cold.too. A different potato was brought out, and no butter was on it at all. I had to request salt and pepper and butter. The credit card gadget had visible greasy smears on top of it. Ick. read more

Wow, we were looking for a good early lunch yesterday, October 10, 2019, after a doctors apt in Durango. The food looked very nice and in fact tasted good. I spent the next 12 hours in the bathroom feeling like death might be a further... I ate the 9.99 lunch combo which included pasta Alfredo with an extraordinary large amount of Broccoli, grilled and fried shrimp with an bowl of onion soup to start... It was very cold in Durango yesterday... I couldn't even begin to to eat all the food I was presented with so I took at least 2/3 of my lunch service home. It was not a good night after that...
