Who cares what the food tastes like if you can't order or receive it. You'll be left waiting and wanting.

The last three times we have been there we were greated but the sever telling is what they were out of which was all if the wine, half of the sides and most of the BBQ. Then when we waged for 1 hour for the food we could find on the menu it was ice cold! I asked to speak to a manager and wes told he just left, once we ordered we never saw our server again. The person who brought the food basically dumped it on the edge of table and said here you go and walked away. I suggest you all drive a mere 8 miles to Bozeman for better food and definitely better service, great service is not a priority at this establishment read more

We came here with our local friend while coming through on vacation. I believe our servers name was Jen and she was so so nice, attentive and hospitable. We all ordered a variety of drinks and Jen helped us narrow down our options. My cider was really tasty. My bf and I split a 1 and 2 meat platter with beef ribs, pulled pork, and brisket. We also got the fries, cucumber salad, Mac, and grits. I'm more of a sides girl and they were all so good. The cucumber was great to get a little bit of refreshment with all the heavy food. All the other sides were as good as they sounded. The ribs and brisket were a little dry but not too bad and the pulled pork was really good. They brought out all of the different sauces and I preferred the sweeter once's. The spicy one wasn't too spicy. We left with plenty of leftovers and very full bellies. I've eaten here several times, at various locations in the Belgrade/Bozeman area. The last two visits, the food was poor. Today was no exception. The pulled pork was dry and bland, the lemonade was so sour I couldn't drink it, the server did put some simple syrup in it and that helped make it drinkable. And one of my favorites, the cheese grits were soupy and lumpy at the same time. See the photo. This is two disappointments in a row so I'm not sure I'll be back and I certainly won't recommend it to anyone who knows what great BBQ is supposed to be. read more

It had been a few years since I ate here so I figured I would give it a go again. The chicken wings were good, but the breading was a bit to crispy for my liking. Their fire sauce was pretty good. The ribs were tasty, unfortunately I got some funky cut ones with a lot of bone and not much meat on a few. The server was ok, but would disappear for long periods of time, which was annoying when needing something. They weren't busy, so maybe she just had a break or something. I would go here again since I have had a lot of great meals here, but if it's like this again I'm done. read more

Found this place and happy we did. Went at dinner time on a Friday. Must have been a little early because there were plenty of tables. But, by the time we left, all the tables were full. Two of us ordered the 2 meat combo platter with brisket and burnt ends and they were great. Tasted delicious and had big portions. The side house salad was also a nice portion. Service was awesome as the guy kept making sure our drinks were good and the food came out in good time and was hot and fresh. I liked this place better than my favorite BBQ place in my town. Stopped here for a quick dinner on my way to the Bozeman airport with a friend. Service was quick, it is located only 3 min from the airport and I still had lots of time to get on my flight. All the staff wore masks and the tables were properly socially distanced. We ordered and split the full rack of baby back ribs with fried okra and a dinner salad. The ribs were smoky, tender and fell off the bone. The fried okra was cooked perfectly and the side salad was fresh. We would definitely return! read more

I was stoked to find a place close to the airport for bbq! My table got a combination of 5 different meals for 3 of us , I was sad they were out of fried pickles but oh well. Everything turned out being just okay. The Mac and cheese was kind of dry , the meats were good I just didn't care for the sauces. All of the bbq sauces are on the sweeter side, nothing really spicy. The dill potato salad and regular potato salad was underwhelming . I wished this place had been better , I had high expectations. read more

Visiting for 1 day and picked this place based on TA reviews. Not disappointed. We put our name on the wait list and were seated in about 20 minutes on a Thursday night. The place was full about 7:30PM. Seating is available out front in good weather. Decor is modern industrial with the glass enclosed brewhouse on one side of the bar and dining room. Big selection of local beer brewed on site for $5.5 a pint. The Gallatin Valley poutine was a meal all by itself. We ordered one full rack rib dinner and split it. The ribs were as good as any I have had anywhere and the cheesy grits and broccoli salad were a nice complement. Rhonda gave us great service. She brought extra napkins and water without asking. This place has the closest feel to southern bbq that I have found north of Kansas. Their meat is smoked tender and well flavored. The sides are very good with some surprisingly good okra & fried green tomatoes. The biggest knock I have on them is that they do their ribs St Louis style (with sauce on it) which is not a favorite of mine. I think the meat should be able to stand alone with the sauce elevating the flavor. Even with that, it is my favorite stop when I come thru the Belgrade/ Bozeman area. read more

Went out for an early Saturday dinner. I had burnt ends and brats, with grits and hoppin' John; the better half had a bbq sandwich with broccoli salad. Both were delicious. The beer list is lengthy and the one I had (Baby Bear - a black lager) was very good. Service was great. We were seated quickly and our server came quickly to get drink orders. After our dinner orders, the meals came out quickly. Ambience was nice - there were several other parties dining, but it wasn't too loud. The BBQ is not bad. Stopped by for lunch with my son before he had to fly back home. He ordered the beef brisket sandwich and he said without the bbq sauce it was pretty dry. This has been our hidden gem in Montana for quite some time, and we are very glad finally to have had the opportunity to make this our 320th BBQ stop in a journey so far spanning 35 states.. $32.55 plus tip purchased a platter of burnt ends and brats (2) with sides of broccoli salad and grits, a blueberry-peach cobbler a la mode, and one refillable soft drink (coke products). There is quality here across the menu, including the four sauces. First, the beautifully caramelized burnt ends needed no help, so we used the brats to sample the sauces and really took a liking to the coffee sauce. We loved the broccoli salad, but found the grits to be just a tad too salty for our liking. The cobbler proved to be not overly sweet, but the biscuit was so large and unwieldy that we had to set it aside in order to get at the fruit ... truly, a case where smaller would have been better! So a good stop, at a convenient location roughly halfway between Missoula and Billings. read more

We popped in for lunch on Saturday. Great ambience, we were shown to our table, and our server came out quickly. Got our drink orders, and we got into the menu. An exciting array of smoked and barbecued goodies. Almost too many choices. We couldn't decide what to get, then we saw the "can't decide" player. Similar to a flight from the brewery's taps, it offers three sandwiches from five choices (smoked ham, smoked Turkey, brisket, burnt ends, and pulled pork) along with two sides from their collection of eight or so (fries, Mac and cheese, mashed potatoes, cucumber salad, several others). We figured out sides, and two of the three sandwiches, and when we asked our server for her advice, she suggested the pulled pork. A note on the server: I didn't catch her name, but she did a great job of keeping our glasses filled, and we never had to wait long whenever we had questions. The food came out quickly, and was good. The server brought out the bucket of bbq sauce, and after some testing, I ended up using the Spicy Mutha sauce primarily. The buns on the sandwiches were light and complementary to the meats. The pulled pork was a worthy suggestion, the brisket was tender, and the burnt end sandwich was also good. Our sides were homestyle fries (delicious) and the cucumber salad (refreshing).
