Beautiful store and friendly customer service, but absolutely ridiculous prices on bourbon...$79 for Buffalo Trace 750 ml?!?!...they have a few hard to find bourbons, but it doesn't seem like they want to sell them because the prices on them are extremely high...won't be returning to store. read more

5 stars is not enough! I was looking for a specific Champagne and needed it delivered to a local hotel. Not only did they have what I wanted but Sarah, the manager, was very patient in helping me find another bottle within a certain flavor profile and price point over the phone. She was even willing to call her vendors to see what they had available, if I was not satisfied with their selection. I'm in Texas and she kept me updated, via text, every step of the process! I stopped in to pick up a bottle of wine for my book club that evening, and ended up walking out with two bottles of whiskey (brands I hadn't before tried and ended up LOVING), a bottle of wine and a bottle of champagne. You know it's a good liquor store with helpful, knowledgeable staff when that happens! I wasn't pestered and they are not pushy by any means, but just super helpful. Beware and check prices elsewhere, I had my girl friend stop in and get me a bottle of specific bourbon as a gift for friend. We were leaving very early the next morning to drive 6 hours to go see this friend. On the road I finally asked what she paid. It was almost double what I can get it elsewhere ($115), other high end liquor store 10 minute drive away only charges $65. When I got to the resort town my friend was in I went to the most expensive liquor store in town and purchased the same bottle for $85. When I tried to return the bottle to Belgrade Liquor they lied to me and said it was illegal to return alcohol per state policy. I called the state, IT IS NOT ILLEGAL. Either they outright lied or don't know the law. read more

Great spot! Went in by happenstance when I saw it across from hotel, great local Montana selection and a VERY good selection of whiskeys, especially bourbon and at great prices. Ended up walking out with some great hard to find bourbons (buffalo trace experimental, Wyoming, barterhouse 20 yr, etc) all at great prices. Upon arrival on a weekend trip away, there is always the prerequisite "do not pass go, do not collect $200" first stop - the liquor store. (Don't get the wrong idea! It's just so civilized to already have a bottle of wine on hand when the evening rolls around.) If your travels take you to Bozeman, then Belgrade Liquor is there to be your friendly and well stocked welcome-to-Montana to get your trip started right. Belgrade Liquor is conveniently located on your way out from the airport en route to the interstate in a shopping center with a grocery store (so, if you want snacks, you can grab those too.) They have plenty of liquor on hand and a very respectable wine selection. We were not disappointed! Next time we're in that corner of the world, we'll be sure to swing by on our way to Montana adventures!
