While I couldn't pin down the precise name for this beer on Untappd on the board at the bar I got what they simply called "Spicy Lager". This was a lager as it may indicate to have some spice to it and indeed it did. It kind of had a peppery heat to it in the flavor profile which was nice but it wasn't so overwhelming that it caused discomfort such as heartburn later. I have indeed encountered that with some of these hot chile pepper beers but not the case here. When I brought it home (Tacoma, WA) Steve and I cracked it open and had the beer with an enchilada casserole in which the beer paired with the food perfectly but I imagine with the pizza side that is Audrey's it would go well with pizza and with a dash of red pepper flakes also. The kids ordered the French toast and absolutely loved it. Every single dish was packed with flavor, and you could really tell everything was made with care. The restaurant itself is so cute and has such a warm, welcoming atmosphere. On top of the amazing food, the staff was incredibly kind. Our server was the sweetest girl--so friendly, attentive, and genuinely made us feel welcome. We had a fantastic meal from start to finish and will definitely be back. If you come after 10am on the weekend, expect a wait time of 30-40 minutes.

The restaurant was poppin' - almost every table was taken, but we were offered bar seating and we gladly accepted. After purusing through the menu I decided that we should try a variety of items including a side of Brussels sprouts, Bowl of Bison Chili, and a Fig and Arugula Pizza. Service was quick and we got all our items in a pretty timely manner. The pizza had a really great crust the dough had a nice bounce to it. I think for me they were a tad overly generous with the balsamic vinegar glaze which made the pizza quite salty. I would definitely order a pizza again but perhaps the Margherita or the Carnivore. The bison chili was a good standard bowl and the brussel sprouts while crispy was also very salty - I think it was definitely over dressed, but maybe since the majority of patrons were drinkin the salty foods would pair well. This takes away from people who are waiting for their food ahead of you and needing a seat. The tables turn over fairly quickly. My wife and I have both tried something different to eat every visit.
