We tried the banh mi and bun thit nuong (grilled pork with vermicelli) and we loved everything, the boba was good too. I would say judging from other reviews, the Pho might not be the best dish here but highly recommend getting the take out friendly dishes like rice bowl, banh mi or dry vermicelli. Staff is lovely and attentive

Came here yesterday for a lil lunch treat as I was craving pho, got their short rib pho and it was satisfying and delicious. Not my favorite pho but the price is right and they're 2 blocks from my work so I'm happy to return. I did here from the couple at the table next to mine that 5spice is better for pho

Amazing food! Highly recommend the tofu bahnmi to vegans (ask to remove the butter and mayo) and vegetarians. The bread is so crunchy and the tofu is so fluffy! Service was great! I got thai tea without milk but with sugar. It was also delicious. Got spooked by the look, because they blended the sugar into the tea, and it looked like cream at the top. But there was no milk, just froth. I am sorry that i got spooked. Thank you for the delicious meal.

I asked for not spicy and this is what they gave me. Full of jalapenos.

Terrible service run by careless people who don't really care. I ordered a short rib banhmi for my daughter and specifically said "not spicy. It's for my kid." The girl taking my order said ok. We waited and received our banhmi to go. Once we got home and my daughter started eating, she told me it was really spicy. I took the sandwich apart and it was loaded with jalapeno peppers. WTF. FYI - they charge a ridiculously high 5% fee if you use a credit card. I would not come back here.

This place is bomb. Love when we come across an amazing banh mi location. Hole in the wall family run place with some outdoor seating, but don't be fooled because their sandwiches are bomb. My sis and I shared half and half of their beef short rib and their grilled chicken. The beef short rib was so tender and the chicken was fantastic as well. You really can't go wrong. They're quick and they do a good job making a great sandwhich. Go here!

Decided to try this place as it is getting chilly outside and I was craving pho. Because of the store's name, I ordered Bahn Mi as well to try it. As other yelpers suggested, portion size is a bit small, so it was a smart move that I ordered Bahn Mi on top of Pho. The pho did not look special by look, but tasted delicious, probably one of the top 5 places I tried in NY. Bahn Mi was crispy and delicious as well. For the price, I think I really enjoyed the meal! I will definitely order from here next time. Check this place out whenever you crave either pho or Bahn Mi!

I came here around 7PM on a Sunday night after a Brooklyn Nets game because were we looking for some good/quick eats before heading home back to Washington D.C. I wanted some something relatively fast so found this hole-in-the-wall sandwich joint. When I walked in, it was clear that many people were ordering online for delivery to their homes. It seemed that lots of Latino dudes were walking in and out to make their deliver (is this why it's calling Banhmigos?). At any rate, there have a decent menu and their sandwiches are American-size--bigger than what you would get at a real Vietnamese banh mi joint. The price at about $8 a sandwich is not a bad. You can never go wrong with the Grilled Pork Banh Mi Sandwich if you're not too adventurous and really don't know what you'd like. They have powder-based boba drinks here as well (free on your birthday!). Someone who works there like Supreme since they put some decals in multiple places visible to customers.

The bahn mi here is delicious and packed with veggies! I ordered the traditional version, with vietnamese ham, liver pate, and roasted ground pork. The marinated meats, pate, and fresh veggies in the toasted baguette make for a perfectly balanced, quick lunch that will leave you perfectly satiated. I love how the menu has so many variations of the bahn mi and if you're feeling adventurous, you can swap out the baguette for a vermicelli bowl, or taco shell. Bonus: There are a few tables for outdoor dining so you can enjoy your meal in the fresh air.

Was craving a Banh Mi the other day and happened to come across this place. The staff was very friendly and answered the questions I had. The sandwiches were good but not the best I've had. I was expecting more for the price and the popularity this place has. Maybe I'll give it a try again another time!

Must Try: Small plate / flattened bánh ít trần?, Grilled Chicken Banh Mi…read more Me and Tanzina came here and there was basically only one thing on the menu that didn't have pork, so options were a little limited for her. I ended up coming back and trying more later though. Grilled Chicken Banh Mi - 4.5/5 The chicken was juicy, tender, and had a good amount of flavor. They also give you a lot of meat. The pickled filling wasn't overly vinegary, which I liked. Bread was good, nothing crazy. I do wish they went heavier on the mayo and pâté because it could have used a little more moisture. Grilled Pork Banh Mi - 4.5/5 Pretty much the same strengths as the chicken version. Good meat, solid flavor, good bread, and a nice balance of fillings. Could still use a little more sauce, but overall really good. Triple Ham Banh Mi - 4/5 Decent, but not exactly how I like my banh mi. It was a little dry for me. Maybe I just prefer mine wetter and a little more loaded with condiments. Small Plate / Flattened Bánh Ít Trần? - 5/5 I still need to figure out the actual name of this, but it was excellent. Very fresh and surprisingly filling, with a slightly sweet and savory flavor. The sauce paired with it extremely well. Easily one of the best things I had here. Price - 5/5 Pretty cheap for a New York spot, especially considering the portions and quality. Experience - 5/5 Simple menu and everything has been pretty consistent. There's a decent amount of seating and it isn't too loud. Just know that you may need cash, and there's an ATM a couple blocks away. Definitely a spot I'd come back to, especially for the chicken banh mi and that small plate once I finally figure out what it's actually called.

Tasty Banh Mi sandwiches!…read more I ordered ahead and didn't wait very long on a Sunday early afternoon. I asked for my Banh Mi with less carrot and daikon which they happily accommodated. The sandwiches were a little light on meat but ask for more because the prices of these sandwiches are also similarly light. There were other tasty treats and Vietnamese groceries in the shop, they also had self serve fried spring rolls in a toaster oven as well for $1 each. The women who run the shop were sweet and quick.

The place was exactly what we were looking for... Inexpensive, cozy and comfortable atmosphere! The place wasn't busy, but they took reservations. Amazing service and delicious food! The food was fresh and came out fast. Portions are generous, so you definitely won't leave hungry. My favorite dish was Pho Ga (Chicken Noodle Soup), which was delicious, also gluten free, dairy free and soy free. Others had something else I had no interest in to remember the name. Their menu has many options to offer, including gluten free, soy free, and dairy free options. We would come back again and highly recommend you check out this place if you are in Dumbo Brooklyn.

The spacing is quite... intimate. I could hear everyone's conversations and breathe in their breath. Being up close to someone is not my preference however I persevered. Entering the restaurant was nice with customer service being excellent besides one employee who did not seem to respond, I wasn't sure if English or Vietnamese was spoken but did not respond to both. Come to the realization that most spoke Thai. Upon ordering, usually on a cold day, tea would be provided. I didn't realize one small cup of tea was 4$ to 5$, which quite upset me. However being near a tourist destination, I ignored it. I order just the basic pho dac biet (or at least what was first on the menu) while a friend ordered bun bo hue (a spicy soup). Overall the food? Tasted as if it was instant unfortunately, and the special "silk" noodles were sold out apparently for the day. For a basic bowl of pho, that tasted instant. Was roughly more than 20$ without tip. I, was not impressed. The bill came to more than 80$ for two people, including an appetizer of chicken wings (that closely resembled to Buffalo Wild Wings). Overall, this seems like a grand place to grab a drink, bring a business client, and build a façade. However to actually eat here? I would not come back. For those reading this, you have better luck in Flushing or Chinatown in Manhattan. This will be copy and pasted on Yelp as well. Hope this business perseveres!

We ordered the Cha Goi (Crispy Spring Rolls ($18), Pho Thin Ha Noi (Beef Pho $25), and Pho Ga (Chicken Pho). I was impressed by the meats for both phos, as they were tender. The beef had a good wok sear, while the white meat chicken surprisingly retained good moisture. Compared to Southern style pho, Northern is more clear, light broth and wider noodles. The beef pho had more flavor. You could add hot and sweet sauce to your liking as well. We have a go to place for northern pho, but Di An Di is fine. Just a little pricey. The spring rolls were delicious though. Would recommend. Would be interested to try their banh mi next time. If you are a first timer, they do give option for pho and banh mi set (which is a smaller pho bowl and half a bahn mi). The interior is spacious, but cozy. Modern with a sprinkle of traditional Vietnamese designs and plants. The staff was attentive and there was a unisex bathroom.

The manager said it was a communication issue between the servers and the kitchen staff since we did request for the toppings to be on the side. They did apologize multiple times and did not charge us for that sandwich that took forever to come. If it weren't for that incident, definitely a solid 4 stars. Would I come back? I would, the food was good and hopefully they'll get everything correct next time.
