Perfectly serviceable banh mi. Preparation is usually pretty quick, and you can call ahead. The bread is nice and soft. The only issue is that Hanco's is considerably better. read more

Have been trying to find great BanhMi since our trip to Vietnam , happy to have tried this place. Staff was friendly, couple tables outside, inside has cute hints to Vietnam's vibes, large menu, bread was crunchy and the carrot/cucumber combo sent us back to Hanoi. Glad we split a sandwich here! read more

We tried the banh mi and bun thit nuong (grilled pork with vermicelli) and we loved everything, the boba was good too. I would say judging from other reviews, the Pho might not be the best dish here but highly recommend getting the take out friendly dishes like rice bowl, banh mi or dry vermicelli. Came here yesterday for a lil lunch treat as I was craving pho, got their short rib pho and it was satisfying and delicious. Not my favorite pho but the price is right and they're 2 blocks from my work so I'm happy to return. I did here from the couple at the table next to mine that 5spice is better for pho read more

Amazing food! Highly recommend the tofu bahnmi to vegans (ask to remove the butter and mayo) and vegetarians. The bread is so crunchy and the tofu is so fluffy! Service was great! I got thai tea without milk but with sugar. It was also delicious. Got spooked by the look, because they blended the sugar into the tea, and it looked like cream at the top. But there was no milk, just froth. I am sorry that i got spooked. Thank you for the delicious meal. read more

Terrible service run by careless people who don't really care. I ordered a short rib banhmi for my daughter and specifically said "not spicy. It's for my kid." The girl taking my order said ok. We waited and received our banhmi to go. Once we got home and my daughter started eating, she told me it was really spicy. I took the sandwich apart and it was loaded with jalapeno peppers. WTF. FYI - they charge a ridiculously high 5% fee if you use a credit card. I would not come back here. read more

This place is bomb. Love when we come across an amazing banh mi location. Hole in the wall family run place with some outdoor seating, but don't be fooled because their sandwiches are bomb. My sis and I shared half and half of their beef short rib and their grilled chicken. The beef short rib was so tender and the chicken was fantastic as well. You really can't go wrong. They're quick and they do a good job making a great sandwhich. Go here! read more

Tasty spot with great grab-and-go options. There's not much seating, so it's best for takeout, but the food is solid and flavorful. They take card (no extra fee!), which is always appreciated. Quick service and convenient for a casual bite. read more

Reasonably priced, solid quality and very veggie friendly! I've been here a couple times since my friend lives nearby. I appreciate that I can customize the sweetness of my boba and I've enjoyed the food I've tried. It's not a given that a Vietnamese place would have mock duck, and I appreciated that extra variety as a vegetarian and I thought it was very tasty. This is a small, takeaway place in Park Slope. They have some seating outside, and a few bar seats inside, but it's pretty cramped inside that you'd probably wanna grab and go. I walked in, placed and ordered, and got my food within 5-10 min, so they are fast which I appreciated. I don't think they are very authentic, but it gets the job done. It seems to be one of the only places in the area that serves Vietnamese food and doesn't only take cash, which was a plus! I had walked to 2 other restaurants in the area and couldn't order just because I didn't have cash. I got the pho with grilled pork, which came to around $15. I originally wanted beef, as that's my usual order, but for some reason the menu said they only have beef in the crown heights location. I found that really strange, but the grilled pork was nice and I'm glad I tried it. Overall, the portion is kinda small for what you're paying, but it was tasty. I would come back if I need a quick pho fix! read more

Decided to try this place as it is getting chilly outside and I was craving pho. Because of the store's name, I ordered Bahn Mi as well to try it. As other yelpers suggested, portion size is a bit small, so it was a smart move that I ordered Bahn Mi on top of Pho. The pho did not look special by look, but tasted delicious, probably one of the top 5 places I tried in NY. Bahn Mi was crispy and delicious as well. For the price, I think I really enjoyed the meal! I will definitely order from here next time. Check this place out whenever you crave either pho or Bahn Mi! read more

I came here around 7PM on a Sunday night after a Brooklyn Nets game because were we looking for some good/quick eats before heading home back to Washington D.C. I wanted some something relatively fast so found this hole-in-the-wall sandwich joint. When I walked in, it was clear that many people were ordering online for delivery to their homes. It seemed that lots of Latino dudes were walking in and out to make their deliver (is this why it's calling Banhmigos?). At any rate, there have a decent menu and their sandwiches are American-size--bigger than what you would get at a real Vietnamese banh mi joint. The price at about $8 a sandwich is not a bad. You can never go wrong with the Grilled Pork Banh Mi Sandwich if you're not too adventurous and really don't know what you'd like. They have powder-based boba drinks here as well (free on your birthday!). Someone who works there like Supreme since they put some decals in multiple places visible to customers. read more

The bahn mi here is delicious and packed with veggies! I ordered the traditional version, with vietnamese ham, liver pate, and roasted ground pork. The marinated meats, pate, and fresh veggies in the toasted baguette make for a perfectly balanced, quick lunch that will leave you perfectly satiated. I love how the menu has so many variations of the bahn mi and if you're feeling adventurous, you can swap out the baguette for a vermicelli bowl, or taco shell. Bonus: There are a few tables for outdoor dining so you can enjoy your meal in the fresh air. read more

Was craving for pho, but decided it was too hot and got the vermicelli salad with grilled chicken. The portion size was pretty filling and the chicken was perfectly seasoned. I also ordered the iced Vietnamese coffee, would not recommend. It's watered-down and tastes like it's trying to remember that it's supposed to be coffee. Definitely the weakest Vietnamese coffee I've had. Same goes with the bubble tea, my friend ordered the Thai Bubble Tea and it was not very sweet and watered down as well. The to-go menu is a little outdated as the actual prices are higher than listed. ;tldr good food, stay away from the drinks read more

Banhmigos - Grilled chicken Vermicelli Salad with Grilled Chicken - Vietnamese Near Me - Brooklyn, New York

Solid, solid bahn mi place and quite a happy, surprising find in the middle of suburban Park Slope! Sandwiches ranging from $8-9 served up on delicious bahn mi bread. For a lighter/healthier meat option, I recommend the shredded chicken white is white meat (as opposed to grilled chicken which has dark meat and more sauce). Friendly and fast service. A great spot for take out Vietnamese sandwiches (very limited counter seating). read more

Banhmigos! A pun on bahn mi and amigos but there's nothing Mexican about the food. A quick lunch stop or delivery destination that's stolen my taste buds. Their traditional banh mi is made with Vietnamese ham and paté and it's delicious. It comes with a nice crisp bread that doesn't scratch the mouth and it's loaded with pickles carrots and Daikon that really adds the right amount of acid to each bite. Their spring rolls are a little heavy on the noodles but the duck and the shrimp options comes with a good amount of protein and enough peanut sauce to quadruple dip both rolls. The Thai ice tea is pretty standard. They only have four seats in the place and it's not the best atmosphere, but the food speaks for itself. I'll probably make this my premier spot when I want a quick grub hub meal. read more

Found this place on Yelp, since had an appointment nearby and wanted to find a place for a quick pick up option rather than dine-in. I believe I came here beginning of March before the pandemic and after ordered delivery. We ordered the following items: Shrimp Roll: Not the best, but it was decent, but they definitely need to work on the dipping sauce, since it tasted overly peanutty rather than traditional dip. Beef Short Ribs Banh Mi - Really good and love the bread here. Solid baguette. Nice and crisp and soft in the inside. Traditional Banh Mi - Didn't taste traditional to me, but I ordered this because I do love a banh mi with pate. I prefer the traditonal ones from Houston, Texas. Houston has great Vietnamese food, since that city ranks top 5 Vietnamese population. Short Rib Vermicelli - I thought this was great as well. Bubble Tea - got the Thai version and thought they cooked the bubbles well. Beef Pho - found the broth to be flavourful! I am a fan of this place for Vietnamese food. read more

The price on the paper menus in the restaurant said $9.25 and now $12.00 for my Short Rib Banhmi. I wish they would discard the old menus, the increase seems a bit steep, better not to know. Otherwise great food! Cashier could be a little less short with customers. read more

Fantastic flavor, but small portions unless you order extra meat. But the food is just so damn good and they do typical rice or noodle boxes well. Their marinades and spiciness are all well done. I even put in an order at the wrong location and they fixed it for me and cooked my order real quick with no extra charge. Great people and food. read more

I ordered food online to pick up for a group. When I got to the restaurant, I was charged more than what the receipt from earlier said. When I asked the cashier about it, she said that the prices online haven't been updated in a while, and there's a 5% fee to use a credit card. I understanding rising prices and credit card fees, but I do not understand not updating menu prices so you can have an accurate receipt total. I am not even sure if this is legal. I've ever only gotten takeout from here, but the experience has been an acceptable one. The first time I got your traditional toasted banh mi with picked veges, pate, and Vietnamese cold cuts - it was great except the bread was not tasted in the way I have had it before. The baguette was a bit too soft and not crispy enough around the edges - you know you're biting into a good banh mi when half of your upper palate is scraped off. The second time I came, I got the lemongrass pork to go. The meat was good but the broth was meh. I was also expecting it to be larger - it was about 2/3rds the size of any other pho I've ever had./ I think for Park Slope this is a fine place to come for the price point and if you're in a rush, but it is definitely not the finest Vietnamese cuisine I've ever had. read more

Here's three pieces of advice: 1. Get Da Jay. It's the grilled pork banh mi, and it's the best of the three different sandwiches that I've tried here. Although, I've never really been sad about any of them. 2. Don't get delivery if you can help it. It's quick and reliable, but the food definitely loses a little something on the way. All food really does. 3. Don't go anywhere near this joint from 3-4 pm. In fact, stay away from the Slope altogether anytime school is letting out. Because strangling annoying middle schoolers is seriously frowned upon unless you're also a middle schooler, and even then I'm pretty sure it's not OK. read more

I used to come here more frequently, but I find it difficult to get a consistent sandwich here. I always get "no cilantro" and "extra spicy", I've learned to eyeball the guy making the sandwich and inevitably after he makes it and they are about to hand it to me, I tell them I asked for no cilantro. They dig through the sandwich pulling out the cilantro (sometimes getting it all, sometimes not) and patch it together and hand it back to me. Same thing happened today, but on top of that, it wasn't spicy in the least and the meat was cold. When they're on top of their game it's a phenomenal sandwich, I just with they were more consistent. read more

Ill preface by saying I have been a fan of this Franchise for some time now . I've probably gotten food from all their locations to help out during these tougher times . Bahnmi sandwiches are some of my favorite foods to eat period so I kinda know quality when I taste it . Bahnmigos isn't my favorite for these sandwiches but they are good for the most part . However the last few times have been major let downs . I'm sad to say I am unlikely to keep supporting this business . The food quality has seemingly declined particularly from the Brooklyn locations . I ordered two sandwiches via Uber eats . A chicken Bahnmi and my favorite atleast when it's executed well , the beef short rib . The chicken was good . Fresh bread , fresh veggies and the chicken albeit a tiny bit chewy was eventually polished off nicely! The problem I had was with their beef short rib . All the pieces of meat was disgustingly covered by thick gelatinous fatty inedible just flat out nastiness! . U fortunately my camera isn't working because I really want to make it crystal clear to anyone reading this . At over ten bucks for a sandwich , you'd expect to find one piece of meat you don't have to end up spitting out .Not here you won't . It's so unfortunate ,because I am now forever turned off by this place . I wanted to give my support ,but a business that repeatedly serves up food like this ( their other Bk location was slightly better ) doesn't deserve my support . I'll be on the prowl now for another restaurant that serves up beef short rib as it's one of my favorite foods . read more

The roast pork sandwich!!! Omg!! This is my first time here. I was in the neighborhood for a sample event that left me kinda hungry lol. So i walked past this place and made a mental note to stop in. I was not disappointed. The meat lays on the bottom of the French bread. It's moist, flavorful and perfect texture next to the bread. ( i clearly Watch too much food network, lol). The veggies are sweet, with a sauce that is delicious! It's hard to explain. Kinda like mayo, but not really ‍. This is a perfect sandwich. That's all. read more

I love a great banh mi, so when I heard about this place, naturally I had to try it. I tried the summer rolls (both the shrimp and the smoked duck) and a traditional bahn mi. Both summer rolls were fantastic. The duck one was particularly interesting as you rarely see that in a summer roll around NYC. The peanut sauce was pretty good, but a lot more liquidy than typical. Not a bad thing to me, but if you have a preference for more solid peanut sauces you might not like it. The banh mi was decent. The ingredients themselves, both the pork and the vegetables, were flavorful and tasty. My one complaint was about the bread. It was overly crispy (I like some crisp to my baguette of course, but this was a lot) and they seemed to carve out the baguette more than most places do. It's a solid spot if you are in the area and craving a banh mi for sure, but there are better banh mi places out there if you are willing to travel. read more

Lunch special is dishonest, don't expect the boba that you paid for. You will just get a regular line item. I purchased the shrimp salad lunch special with the boba tea through the restaurant website. When I arrived, the cashier claimed that I had purchased the regular Green salad and not the lunch special. When I pulled up the order and website to show her, I noticed the header was 'lunch special' and mentioned that it included the Boba Tea. However, the line item once selected just says 'Green Salad' the exact same as the non-lunch special 'Green Salad'. I showed this to the cashier and asked her how it is possible the lunch special line item didn't include boba if the option to 'add extra boba' was included for an extra fee. Cashier then told me that if I didn't write 'lunch special' and 'Boba' in the order's additional comments I couldn't expect the boba because they wouldn't know. I purchased the boba separately +5$ but I am not happy with the false advertising. This menu has been the same for a while now and I certainly cannot be the first customer to run into this issue. The cashier pretending to not know the glitch with the lunch special felt like gaslighting. I'd like a refund for the extra 5$ spent just getting the lunch special I originally paid for. read more

What happened to this joint?!?!? They use to stuff the heck out of their banh mi's with vegetables and now they don't..why!?!? I came here just for that. I had the portabella mushroom that was oven glazed with extra virgin olive oil, Tofu and Veggie chicken banh mi's. They were all good and flavorful but I was just too disappointed with the amount of veggies. The bread was very crispy to my liking and I can't get over the amount of veggies they put in it! The Vietnamese coffee was too sweet. read more

Banhmigos might not be serving up completely authentic banh mi's, but it's still a solid spot to satisfy your Vietnamese sandwich cravings. The banh mi's here all freshly made and tasty. I tried the grilled pork and absolutely loved it. The meat was tender with just the right amount of flavor. My friend stuck with the traditional option and enjoyed his sandwich as well. I saw a few other customers eating pho, and it looked a bit sad and unappetizing. Would recommend sticking to the sandwich options! Delicious! I ordered online, and the food was ready pretty quickly. This is my first time here and it did not disappoint! It was super fresh and very filling. He absolutely loved it and is looking forward to getting food from here again. I've had banhmi before, and this was just as tasty and fresh as it usually is. This is a solid banh mi spot. The bread is crusty and toasty, sweet and tangy pickled daikon and carrot, well seasoned meats. Totally recommend if you're in the area and looking to get your fix. The spicy isn't that spicy, so if you want extra spice add some sriracha. I've only had the Traditional that comes with a good smear of pate, pork, and Vietnamese ham. So good and so flavorful. Get extra meat, trust me you'll thank me later. Prices are a bit steep but it makes sense given the area. Boyfriend had the short rib and felt it was a bit under seasoned but still enjoyable overall. He ate some of my sandwich and said mine was definitely superior and ended up eating a quarter of mine. Next time in the area I know I can count on this spot for a good banh mi. read more
