After we ordered, the gentleman brought us their "chips and salsa" which was soft bread and chimichurri. My daughter ordered the pretzel and cheese so I tried a bite and was not disappointed! The cheese has a little bite to it but she didn't seem to mind and I didn't mention it. What stands out for me is that I can alter my order to make it healthy, with them serving my chicken sausage on a bed of greens instead of having it served in their buns (which I'm sure is delicious). In the pic, this is chicken sausage with jalapenos on a bed of greens with chopped tomato, onion, cheddar cheese, balsalmic and spicy ranch. First and foremost let me say that the food is delicious. There was some trepidation paying 8-9 bucks for a glorified brat, but it's quite the novelty to be able to have such exotic meats here in Eugene. Additionally, they don't taste at all like what you may have preconceived notions about. The seasoning and texture is on par from what you would expect from a 5 star restaurant. The atmosphere is chill but given the nature of the picnic table seating, that's to be expected. The beer selection is plenty sufficient too. It was rainy when I visited, but there are several picnic tables outside as well along with a "glass garage door" to open up the outside to the inside. There were both men's and women's bathrooms in addition to the "family"/ unisex bathroom. My recommendations... get the sample platter(not on menu). Each one is $6 vs the 8-9 with the bun and 2 toppings. read more

First of all, do not judge me based on the picture. A group of us ate there (I swear it was a group) and the brats were awesome. The gator and boar were two of the best brats I've had, and I've been to Germany a number of times. Yes, the chimichurri sauce is as good as advertised and so is their service. We also ordered the bacon Gorgonzola fries, and while my arteries clogged and my cholesterol approached near-deadly levels, I can honestly say it was worth every bite. YUM. Quality food for a great price. Their pretzel was awesome, and the real winner was that cheese that had a touch of mustard in it. My wife and I came here after a long drive and saw this place was near our destination. Since it had good reviews we decided to try this place out. Honestly, we didn't know what a "banger" was, but we wanted some brews. The wall gives all types of sausages to choose from, then you choose two toppings, and a sauce. It actually tells you on the wall. I think it was the manager who helped us and he was great giving us recommendations. The menu has suggestions on the back. Best bangers that I have had in the PNW. Worth an hour drive. I tried both the Wild Boar and their take on the Seattle Special (with cream cheese of course). The bangers skin was crispy yet still juicy on the inside. The hot dog buns were toasted. They were smart enough to put all the topping on the sides so when we picked up the buns weren't soaked. I really love the ambiance, and this end of town really needed a spot that you can grab some great food, great selection of beverages, and watch some games on the big screens. They have a wonderful selection of brats to chose from. I lIke the spicy Italian over the bed of salad greens, minus the onion. Grilled are fine. The Mac n cheese looks delightful, I have yet to try it. I should have stole a bite from a friend. Hehe The bread, with the chimi churi sauce is one of my favorites. I actually had a craving for it. I might want the pretzel n brat next time, that is if I do not fill up on the bread. So many more things to try! The selection of cider, and beer, are great. The people here couldn't be nicer, but food could. The sausages are good but the bun and the toppings really bring it down. If you get cheese, it will be cold (not melted) shredded cheese sprinkled on top. Everything is just piled on top cold, nothing on the bun, no toasting, just a pile of cold toppings without any care. The buns are a plain sweet white bread with no flavor or character. There is so much great bread in this town, I cannot understand why they won't try some better buns. What a great place! The atmosphere the people who run it. All fantastic even after COVID, they had distance rules and cleaned tables. The owner is a great guy and can talk about the menu for hours. Easy menu and they have vegetarian and non pork options! Their adventurous options are fun to try and taste great too (well...sometimes.. not a fan of the duck-bacon it was weird lol). From Alligator to reindeer there is something always interesting. Locally made pretzels are heaven. The chicken basil brat and IPA brawt are the best tasting on the menu and keeps it classic.
