Super cute backdrop in their restaurant!
    Emily C.

My one regret in stopping here was not taking a picture of the sweet potato cake I purchased before trying it. Absolutely delicious; it was gone in a few minutes haha. They have a wide array of options and super reasonable prices: I only paid $4 for a thick slice of the best sweet potato cake I've ever had :) Derek (apologies if I'm off on spelling) provided us with fantastic customer service and even rearranged part of the restaurant to get a nice picture for us with the backdrop We'll definitely be returning!

Purchased 2 red velvet cupcakes earlier today to satisfy my sweet tooth. Super cute spot. Looks like efficient covid 19 measures in place. Roped off on one side and only allow 2 customers in store at one time. Buzz entry. Neatly displayed items with cupcakes and little loaf cakes all around. Cakes are ordered at counter ** Tastes homemade like I expected. Frosting super airy buttercream . Perfect red velvet. ** would love to come back to have the actual sliced cake version.

Fantastic customer service, quality service and products each and every time! I've been to this establishment at least 5 times now and I have never ever ever ever been disappointed! It's to the point now I can walk in and blindly just pick something out of the showcase and I'll be just a satisfied is if it was a favorite! ... Now my favorites are ALLL of the sweet potato cupcakes! Yes ALLL of them! So far I've tasted the Rum, Chocolate, Original and Red Velvet Sweet Potato Cupcakes. This bakery also sells cakes and cookies. Everything here is so good that I have my coworkers, friends and family visiting this place every time they can! If you haven't been here, definitely put this place on your things to-do list for this week!

I was scrolling on Yelp to find a place near me that could satisfy my sweet tooth and I was blessed enough to find this location. I'm an avid support of all things black owned. It's Black History month so of course the support went up 20x. We walked out of here with such a great impression and several slices of cakes. It satisfied my cravings AND more. When you walk in here you are immediately met with PLENTY of options. From strawberry cake, lemon buttercream cake, Oreo cake red velvet sweet potato cupcakes, and SO much more. It doesn't stop there. The prices are very reasonable for the portion that you receive. I was conflicted between the Strawberry or Lemon cake and the man assisting me (I wish I remembered his name because he was awesome) gave me his very thorough opinion in great detail. I ended up purchasing both. Hubby got the Oreo cake and the strawberry shortcake. We got home and ate the cakes and they were AMAZING. Moist, flavorful, and not too rich. The pungent lemon flavor took me aback but I enjoyed every single bite. The buttercream was whipped to perfection. The strawberry frosting was amazing and not too sweet. The cake and frosting ratio was absolutely perfect. Will I be returning? Absolutely. If you're a lover of sweets and good customer care, stop by here. You won't be disappointed.

Lemon, Maple Bacon, Red Velvet and Sweet Potato. Great service and friendly staff with delicious cupcakes. Definitely worth a visit!

First visit here and I thought the cupcake was good. I had the Raspberry Lemonade Cupcake, I think. The flavor was good and the cupcake was somewhat moist. I think it was a bit over priced for the size of it, but that's just my opinion. I just wasn't elated when I took my first bite. I look for having an experience when I eat food, especially cupcakes...lol. I would go back again, maybe try something else.

In the freezer/refrigerated section they actually had full gluten-free cakes which I have rarely seen in any gluten-free bakery just sitting there ready to be taken as well as other to go meals for you. The second part of this establishment is the café. But really it's a very good Indian restaurant. They offer some other things that are not Indian. We tried the pizza served on rice flour naan but honestly, I would skip that. We got the orange chicken it is made with tandoori chicken and the orange chicken seasonings. It was so good. It would take me a while to get through all the menu, but I would happily do that in the honor of research. It has a fairly decent sized dining area and then there's a bar area as well. We were there for lunch so I'm not quite sure how busy the bar area is or if it's popular. We are always looking for really good gluten-free places because of celiac and we were thrilled to find sweet 27 Café and bakery for lunch. I would also note that they had a lot of vegetarian and vegan options as well. Again, I would be willing to try all of the tofu dishes that looked really good on the menu.

It's within the Johns Hopkins college campus & a neighborhood, so parking is really horrible. I ended up parking in a non spot and putting my hazards on. It's a cute little, but spacious place located next to an airport building. It's on the corner and has a nice little outside seating area with about 5 tables. Inside is bigger than it looks and has a nice amount of seating as well. Since my time was limited, I didn't really get to explore the menu like I wanted, so I ordered a hazelnut latte and a ham & cheese croissant. Their croissants looked so good, I wanted one of each. They also had several toasts on their menu. I'll have to go back for sure! Th service was regular, you order, they tell you how much you owe and you pay. I got in my car and couldn't wait. My first bite was like a bite into heaven. Every bite was the same way, so delicious & delicate. I wish I had two. The latte was perfect, just the right amount of hazelnut. Kanom Cafe is a must try!

The music playing was great, not overtly loud but soft. I visited on a Hump Day morning around 9am and there was no line. I went up to order and asked the cashier what's popular. He said they are known for lattes and rattled off a few. I opted to get the Toasted Marshmallow hot latte with whole milk. I would said it was ok, I couldn't taste the toasted marshmallow flavor at all. I also ordered the bacon/Swiss swirl which was yummy once I warmed it in the microwave at home. 3 stars for me because of the latte but I'm willing to revisit to try other flavors. My favorite was the tomato bisque soup which had a lot of vegetables and some tasty bread served with it. The veggie omelette was prepared just right and not over- or undercooked. Nearly all of the tables were taken for most of Sunday morning and there was also takeout, showing how popular it has become.

I ordered the veggie sandwiches too-fresh, delicious, and very filling. I can't wait to come back. The only thing I missed was a place to sit and really savor it. The outdoor seating is limited, and the glass canopy doesn't do much to keep the heat away. I realized that their online ordering was actually quite easy and their pick up hours were a bit more accessible than I remember them being. I ordered my sourdough loaf online a few days in advance for a Thursday pick up. I stopped in around 3pm and the loaf was quickly wrapped up for me. I asked if it could be sliced like the white bread loaf can but I was informed that the classic sourdough loaf is too large to fit in the slicer. I also love the fact that they offer a pay what you can program and a pay it forward option. And judging by their fundraising for important causes, this is a business I will continue to support. For $7, I thought it was a great deal for such a large and beautiful loaf. It froze and reheated very well too so none of it went bad.
