Fantastic, must try the Sweet potato cake. Everyone wants to know where I got it from.

I stopped past this black owned bakery after being recommended by a good girlfriend. The customer service was not there for me. I wasn't greeted upon entering the store. It was only one other customer in the bakery at the time. When deciding which cupcakes to choose from there was no clear offering from the staff to assist with making a better selection. The selection was fairly limited so I just ordered 4 cupcakes (strawberry & sweet potato) to eat at home. The cupcakes were moist and delicious. I will definitely like to continue to support this business however, the lack of customer service was a little off putting. read more

I came here after going to an appointment in the area. The neighborhood this establishment is in, is definitely questionable. But i heard the sweet potato pie and cake was amazing. First, this is not really a retail bakery. So I had to hit a buzzer for someone to open the door. Ok...fine. someone did come out and let me in the store. The store looks in shambles. Literally there was like 6 half dozen carts of sweet potato cupcakes and a couple fruity pebble cupcakes in a small counter top fridge thing. Honestly it was super sketchy. The man sold me the sweet potato cupcakes and two fruity pebble cupcakes, but he was still wearing the gloves he opened the door with and my payment, so I was like well at least im the first person here. I did not see him take the gloves off after I left. The fruity pebble cupcakes were meh. It had this weird red dye to center of the cupcake and the icing was eh. The sweet potato cupcakes tasted like Thanksgiving. They really are delicious. I dont know how this bakery makes money, or who they sell to, but they need to fix up their store front. I saw that they were broken into some time ago. I thibk if this place was relocated and had a not so rough looking storefront it would do really well. read more

My one regret in stopping here was not taking a picture of the sweet potato cake I purchased before trying it. Absolutely delicious; it was gone in a few minutes haha. They have a wide array of options and super reasonable prices: I only paid $4 for a thick slice of the best sweet potato cake I've ever had :) Derek (apologies if I'm off on spelling) provided us with fantastic customer service and even rearranged part of the restaurant to get a nice picture for us with the backdrop We'll definitely be returning! read more

Roped off on one side and only allow 2 customers in store at one time. Buzz entry. Neatly displayed items with cupcakes and little loaf cakes all around. Cakes are ordered at counter ** Tastes homemade like I expected. Frosting super airy buttercream . Perfect red velvet. ** would love to come back to have the actual sliced cake version. read more

Fantastic customer service, quality service and products each and every time! I've been to this establishment at least 5 times now and I have never ever ever ever been disappointed! It's to the point now I can walk in and blindly just pick something out of the showcase and I'll be just a satisfied is if it was a favorite! ... Now my favorites are ALLL of the sweet potato cupcakes! Yes ALLL of them! So far I've tasted the Rum, Chocolate, Original and Red Velvet Sweet Potato Cupcakes. This bakery also sells cakes and cookies. Everything here is so good that I have my coworkers, friends and family visiting this place every time they can! I was scrolling on Yelp to find a place near me that could satisfy my sweet tooth and I was blessed enough to find this location. I'm an avid support of all things black owned. It's Black History month so of course the support went up 20x. We walked out of here with such a great impression and several slices of cakes. It satisfied my cravings AND more. When you walk in here you are immediately met with PLENTY of options. From strawberry cake, lemon buttercream cake, Oreo cake red velvet sweet potato cupcakes, and SO much more. It doesn't stop there. The prices are very reasonable for the portion that you receive. I was conflicted between the Strawberry or Lemon cake and the man assisting me (I wish I remembered his name because he was awesome) gave me his very thorough opinion in great detail. I ended up purchasing both. Hubby got the Oreo cake and the strawberry shortcake. We got home and ate the cakes and they were AMAZING. Moist, flavorful, and not too rich. The pungent lemon flavor took me aback but I enjoyed every single bite. The buttercream was whipped to perfection. The strawberry frosting was amazing and not too sweet. The cake and frosting ratio was absolutely perfect. Will I be returning? Absolutely. If you're a lover of sweets and good customer care, stop by here. You won't be disappointed. read more

First visit here and I thought the cupcake was good. I had the Raspberry Lemonade Cupcake, I think. The flavor was good and the cupcake was somewhat moist. I think it was a bit over priced for the size of it, but that's just my opinion. I just wasn't elated when I took my first bite. I look for having an experience when I eat food, especially cupcakes...lol. I would go back again, maybe try something else. read more

Fresh and Delicious !!! You're not getting there anywhere in Baltimore these days ! I live everything about baked in Baltimore, from the warm and friendly staff to the deliciousness that they bake. The sweet potatoe cake is the absolute best. Whenever I have a sweets craving I take the drive to baked in Baltimore and it's totally worth the 30 minute drive. Everything here is good. Waistline inflation is the only problem this place has but I'll just have to suffer. Freshly made Cookies, cakes(whole or by the slice) cupcakes, danish, pies and frozen treats too!! This place has your sweet tooth covered. Pleasant service regardless of who serves you. I love the products at this bakery. Even though some of the items are available at Safeway, buying them at the bakery seems more authentic. I usually get the sweet potato cake, which is always moist and delicious. The mini sweet potato pies are okay but the cake is better to me. The snickerdoodle cookies are also delicious. I've had a couple cupcakes and was disappointed the last time, the icing tasted old and I had to through the cupcakes out. But I normally have a pleasant experience. Service can be a little slow but always with a smile. read more

Ordered 2 dozen rum infused sweet potato cupcakes. Order was completed with no problem. Cupcakes were yummy. Icing was a little too sweet but still delicious. Only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is I wish they had more ideas and pictures of their work online. Other than that I'll be back for some more treats! read more

I went to the bakery on March 16, 2019. March is famous for being windy. Well I was blown away by the great tasting pastries .... Lemon and chocolate cupcakes and sweet potato pie. I gave my mother one of the pies and she gave it a "A" . Friendly staff and nice atmosphere. Looking forward to my next visit!! read more
