I visited on Tuesday at 9am. The cupcakes and specialty desserts were beautifully displayed. I got feedback from the cashier before deciding on 4 cupcakes and the mini key lime pie. They offered both traditional and nontraditional cupcake flavors so it is guaranteed that you'll find something that you enjoy. My family devoured the cupcakes and loved each flavor. They were not too sweet. The coffee was also inexpensive so we ordered a mocha to go. It was really hot, which is what I prefer. Service was great and they have a rewards program. As others have said, they are delicious! I had them for the first time last week and it was the Sweet Potato Cheesecake Cupcake which was literally mind blowing it was that good!! Didn't taste like sweet potato in an overwhelming way, and had the right amount of sweetness. Unfortunately they only do those every other day so when I came on Sunday I got the Bal Harbor chocolate cupcake with Vanilla Butter creme Icing. It was good, but nothing special. I personally don't like butter creme icing so I wish I had gotten their Red Velvet or tried the French Toast flavor the cashier recommended. Service was great, parking can be tight but with Safeway next door it's not bad at all. Cute decor and they do cakes. Another plus is that they sent me a coupon + a birthday signup email within 24 hours. I love that and will be visiting again to try more flavors. I just love the fact that we have a baker right around the corner in our neighborhood. This place is just fantastic. I love their cakes and have been coming here for years now. They have a lovely selection. Custom service is excellent and even when there is something wrong they try to fix it or apologize. It's a small store but I do love the ambiance its nice and also smells like cake. It's a clean establishment and you have nothing to worry about. We always get their Bundt cakes. Now I must say that sometimes the consistency is different I guess it depends on who is baking but aside from that really nothing to worry about. They have other types of desserts and dog treats too. The cake was amazing!!!!!! Order a cake last week, the designs was on point although you will not be able to see anything until pick up which made me nervous. They did an amazing job!!!!!! Customer service was great, they are friendly helpful and very consider with your time. I purchased a 4 layer 8in cake with French toast and vanilla mixed flavor with custom design. And i literally just tried. Yummy! I definitely will be ordering from them again. Key points that I love you can order in a short notice with buttercream icing with no deposit. This is one of my go-to dessert places. I am giving 4/5 stars only because sometimes the consistency in freshness can be off, meaning there has been a couple of times the cupcakes I got tasted a bit stale or not as "fresh". But overall, this place is definitely on my list of top 5 dessert places in my area. My favorite cupcakes are the sweet potato cheesecake, red velvet and Charleston (vanilla cupcake with chocolate icing). I've also gotten various danishes, cookies, black and white cake and strawberry shortcake. Service is fine, sometimes it's a little busier than other times but they do try to take care of their customers as quickly as possible. Of course I remove the icing because she does NOT need anymore energy! I purchased a 6 pack for us. I always enjoy, red velvet, cookies and cream, and Martha's Vineyard strawberry cupcakes. Today I tried the sweet potato cheesecake and strawberry crunch, both were delicious! I've tried the peach cobbler, Charleston chocolate vanilla, Nantucket vanilla, almond raspberry, and sock-it-to me cupcakes. One of my friends had a cake from here at her birthday party and I loved it, so I decided to come to get assorted cupcakes for my dad's birthday. I went with the Carrot Cake (available on Mondays), Sweet Potato, Snickerdoodle, Bananas Foster, Sock-It-To-Me (pecans, brown sugar, cream cheese frosting). Overall, the cupcakes were good. The Bananas Foster was not what I expected. I didn't get any banana taste besides the banana on top of the icing, so I wouldn't get that again. The Snickerdoodle, Sweet Potato, and Sock-It-To-Me I loved. I'm not one for pecans all through my cake, but I wanted to keep eating it. It was one of the more moist cupcakes. The carrot cake was average, nothing special and was a bit dry for a carrot cake in my opinion. I'm not sure what I was expected from the Sweet Potato one, but I would def order again. As far as the snickerdoodle...perfectly done in my opinion. I also bought a bagel to have on the way home which for some reason I was super excited about, but it was very stale and just not soft at all. $19.00 for 6 cupcakes and a bagel. Not bad.
