I was in Rancho for an appointment and was hungry for brunch before I headed back to work. I found +Bake Cafe and was really pleased with everything I got. The Avocado toast was delicious and filling. The Mexican Side Car was very good, the flavors were spot on and not too sweet. And the pistachio croissant with raspberry jam was just the perfect treat. Crunchy, nutty and a great mix of flavors. Packaging was great and the employees were very friendly and attentive. I got my order to go but the ambience inside is very cute as well. Came here once For coffee and came back to try the food. We ordered two meals, one chicken bowl and one tofu bowl and the mushroom coffee and tea unsweetened. The tea ended up like liquid candy and when we asked for another we simply got a shrug and sorry that's our only tea. No offer of anything else. The flavor of both bowls was nice but the chicken was very fatty and gristly . Then there was a black hair on my napkin that was absolutely not ours. mushroom coffee good and bakery items sure look inviting but this experience was absolutely not. Also when you have people tipping you 20 percent but you don't bring them their food and shrug when they have an issue, it's not the best look. read more

In the area and needed to kill some time and stopped at this bakery realizing it was still in its soft opening. They had a cushion flavor pastries which intrigued us. I have to point out that the service is slow and the person running the counter/casher was so disorganized and not at all efficient. The rest of the staff could work on their customer service because no one took the initiative to engage us or people walking in as busy as it was. We ordered the honey miso croissant, longuista roll, ube toffee cookie, banana bread, ube cheesecake and the garlic cream cheese croissant. Didn't get the garlic pastry in the bag and they ran out of the honey miso croissant so we waited 10 to 15 minutes for it to be prepared. When they came out, they put some in the pastry case and we were standing there waiting for us to be acknowledged to find out what was going on with our order no one addressed us until we approached them and asked where our order was because that's the only thing we're waiting for and the person who is running the cashier said that oh they still have to get everything together and it didn't make sense to me because it should've been done all prior to the honey croissants wait time . So we must've been standing there for another 15 minutes just waiting and waiting for them to gather our order together to give to us. Efficiency was definitely not their strong point today BUT and that's a big BUT, I am gonna give them some time to work out the kinks since it was a soft opening because the pastries are THAT good. I was passing by this place for a little while now since I frequent this shopping plaza often. I decided to stop by for a latte and I am so glad I did, because this place is my new favorite little spot. I have now gotten the iced spanish latte twice which is just so good, I am not sure I'll ever be able to change up my order. The first time I came here, I also got the garlic cream cheese croissant, and even though I knew I shouldn't do it.... i did it anyways. I took it home, warmed it up for 30 seconds.. and it was the BEST CROISSANT I HAVE EVER HAD. wow. I almost wish I never got it, because now, I need one every week. They unfortunately were out of them my second visit so I opted to get the egg sandwich. They did it again. Its 10/10. Cute place, everything looks yummy. When we got there they were not that busy then a few people walked in. After waiting a bit we noticed that people that came after us were getting their orders? My sister-in-law discovered this place two weeks ago and we have since been here four times. It is delicious. My favorite is the almond croissant that I will have every single time that I visit. I've been a fan of take ur seat since their first location in chino hills, and really glad they started expanding to more location lately. The parking situation here is rather weird, but nothing too difficult. The cafe has a very open and welcoming decor, although seatings are rather limited. Their food bowls are my go-to, and they have had it down well with consistency and taste. My favorite is the belly 2 belly and sweet chick. Only downside so far is can't order ahead, try calling the number a few times too but no answers. In-store service is great though. read more

I came to TUS +Bake Cafe for their soft opening because I'm a huge fan of Take Ur Seat. I've gone to three different locations within one week lol. I like how each location has a slightly different menu but they all do brunch foods and cafe drinks exceptionally well! I ordered my go to iced Pandan latte and the taste is on par with their other locations. At this location, I also tried iced pandan jasmine milk tea and it had the flowery flavor of jasmine with pandan infused so this might be a new go to choice for me when I don't want coffee. I don't know if there is any other place locally that does pandan flavors like TUS. I also purchased the hojicha banana bread and mini chocolate chip cookies to share with others. They have a large selection of bakery items and small bites! Next time, I plan to try ube mochi waffles and specialty basque cheesecake! read more

Miso croissant was the perfect bite of sweet and salty. The garlic cream cheese the hubby enjoyed, the cream cheese was too sweet for me as I would have preferred the filling more savory, the egg sandwich was good, maybe a pinch of salt may help season it a bit more ...but otherwise it was exactly as I thought it would be. NOW for the bad....the lattes were bland and watered down in taste...I also did not get a caffeine buzz and ended up with a headache mid day and needed to grab an afternoon tea so the coffee beans are maybe stale or they don't use enough coffee in their drink. Lastly...the cookie....was the worst cookie I had all season...and we are talking Holiday season so we have eaten a lot of cookies in the last 3 weeks. Went to this little cafe after seeing it shared by foodie influencers on Instagram. Little did I know it's actually owned by Take Ur Seat! After seeing the menu online, I knew I had to go. With it being 5 min from home, I know I will be a regular. Today I had their Garlic Butter Croissant (tasty and crunchy. I should have asked them to warm it up for me but it was still yummy) and their Iced Pandan Latte with Oat Milk (I recently had one at their TUS Redlands branch). It's not overly sweet and the touch of Pandan is just yummy. I bought some stuff home: - miso honey croissant: omg this is so so delicious. My mom ate that so fast because it's delicious. I should have bought more. - almond croissant: just like your typical almond croissant. Still yummy. - mini chocolate chips cookies: i had them before at TUS Ontario. Yum. - hot chocolate for my mom. She loved it. The ambiance of the cafe was pink and modern. 2 high seat tables and 3 tables with booth. I stayed there for about 2 hours because I was drawing. The staff were nice and friendly. I listened to their interactions with customers and they did well in explaining their menus to newcomers. Location is in the old Sunrise Shopping Center on Baseline x Carnelian, by Tams Burger, with plenty of parking spots. I hope this place stays because this particular corner has went thru some different shops. Now I don't have to go to Ontario for my Pandan Latte or Beed Rendang bowl. I know they are only open til 4pm (kitchen closes at 2pm, being a brunch spot) so I can't get my drink after work - I'll take it as a treat spot for off work days Oh they have a pink water bowl outside the door for your fur baby! I am not sure if the place is dog friendly due to no outdoor sitting (there's no space for it) but having the water bowl out is a cute gesture. My daughter and grandma went in they were treated so rudely. A man with a ponytail working behind the counter insulted them and was so insanely rude. They were serviced cold pastries and when they asked to heat them up they only replaced 1 of them. I was so excited to try this new coffee shop after a friend shared her experience with me . But I went in and the employees don't know much about the menu items and I was conflicted whether to buy a coffee or not since there's no description to the drinks and the girl taking the orders doesn't know what's in any of them.
