First class service. Lady at the front desk asked how many, my name and number being the covid-19 thing going on. Told me the wait was 45 to An hour. Wait time was around 22 minutes. Very nice waitress. Food was cooked perfectly and hot. Drinks are out of this world. My date (wife lol) was super hot and so wanted to be at the beach. Thank you Bahama Breeze. Awesome time. Vibe was not let down. read more

Who doesn't like a Bahama breeze restaurant? Stopped by on a early Friday. Clean fun and a time capsule from the weekly grind. Plenty of parking. Restaurant located off of 85 North exit 104 pleasant hill. Waitstaff is pleasant and seating is comfortable. I've visited several Bahama Breeze, and I haven't had a bad experience. So of course, I have to represent for my vegan/vegetarians. I ordered the jackfruit tacos. Vegan option order without the aioli. The other plus, is they don't rush you for seating, and not too noisy-just fun. Just fun time, all the way around. read more

Bahama Breeze is such a vibe, a Caribbean vibe that is! I love walking into the tropical escape filled with plants galore and the sound of steel drums and reggae music. The tropical drinks are delicious and I love the coconut shrimp appetizer and fish dishes. Great service and good food. read more

Last night (2/4/24), my daughter and son-in-law celebrated their anniversary at this particular Bahama Breeze. They were blown over by the excellent service and delicious food. They told me that Loretta, their wait-staff person, was outstanding. They are still talking about it. Now I want to go. read more

To my surprise, my friend and I arrived just in time for Happy Hour, and what a treat it was. Happy Hour includes half off appetizers only Monday through Friday 4:00pm-6:00pm and Sunday through Thursday 10pm- 11pm. Another treat was our server the lovely FELICIA, who was very funny as well as entertaining (like out in Vegas somewhere) she treated us like we were on vacation and in Georgia for the first time. FELICIA went far and beyond good service. This is very rare for this era. I've had good service in this restaurant and in other restaurants before, however this evening was superb. Like from the 80's when customer service was a popular trend. Bahama Breeze, I sure hope you know what a gem you have right there in FELICIA, she was knowledgeable of the menu and the popularity of the dish. I had a delightful experience here myself as well as my dinner companion. I was having dinner with a friend, I hadn't seen in over 20 years, we could have chosen any restaurant in Atlanta, I'm so glad we dined here. The atmosphere was perfect. In celebration of the happy hour we ordered an array of appetizers, crab cakes, lobster & shrimp quesadillas, firecracker shrimp, beef empanadas, spinach chips and dip. Everything was delicious. I also ordered my favorite Ultimate Pina Colada, I order this everytime I come here. It is comparable to the real umbrella drinks you get from the islands. My friend ordered her favorite Bahama Mama. Another treat in store for us was the live music, a guy played island music on steel drums. That was the cherry on top of this beautiful evening. We will have friends coming in from Florida next month, this is where we will bring them, hopefully there will be live music again. read more

If you are looking for somewhere to eat, please avoid this place. The food is just not good! The drinks were bad the service was trash. It was just an overall bad experience. My family and I were going to originally go to Pappadeaux, but I decided I wanted to try somewhere new and that was a bad idea. Our food was lukewarm at best and we ordered quite a few things - Coconut Shrimp, Crab Dip (this was pretty good, despite it being lule warm), jerk shrimp (gross to me but my boyfriend liked it. But he eats anything), Mozzarella sticks (cooked to long and no marinara); plaintains (good but cold) Lobster Linguine (That pasta was surprisingly good and hot when it came out and reason for 2 stars), jerk shrimp pasta (i think their jerk is with cinnamon so if you like that, you may enjoy that pasta), and paella (which I had a feeling was going to be gross amd I was right. It was luke warm and all the seafood was overcooked and chewy) Then drinks all bad - Island Old Fashion was just not good. And the drink my boyfriend got was just soo sweet. I can't remember the name but it was a frozen drink with multiple colors w/tequila. Service again bad. So slow to get anything Im only writing this because I do not want anyone to have high expectations when they get here. If i would've saw a review like this, I would've definitely picked Pappadeaux. read more

First time here and we definitely didn't like how rude one of the hostesses was while entering the restaurant. I understand it's a busy night and they've been dealing with some rude customers but if you're going to work as a hostess there is a certain way to talk to customers and handle situations under pressure. I will highlight that our waitress Jalyn was awesome! She was so nice and frequently checked on us to make sure we were satisfied with everything. Great customer service!! Other than that our food was really good and seasoned very well. It can be kind of pricey but you do get a good portion of food. Love the presentation just could've been a little hotter, it was kind of like warm. SN: If you know in advance your going here on the weekend I would definitely call to reserve a table because you can't make same day reservations. read more

Late post: Came here in November 2019. I always enjoy my visits here. The food and drinks are always good. This place gets busy, so I highly suggest making reservations. My latest visit, our server was very attentive. However, a little bit too attentive. It was almost annoying because she was constantly checking up on us what seemed like every 10 minutes. But instead of just walking by, to glance at our glasses, she'd ask us if we need anything and then chat for a couple of minutes. It was quite distracting. But other than that, I've always had great dining experiences here. Suggestion to change the bathroom flooring. Its slippery and wearing heels or boots, I find myself grasping on the walls to make sure I don't slip and fall. read more

I ordered the beef empanadas as my appetizer and they were delicious! The combination of the empanada filling paired with the seasoned sour cream was amazing. There was also a side of pineapple chutney which complimented the empanadas as well. For my entree I ordered the top sirloin with coconut shrimp. I ordered my steak medium I usually order my steaks medium rare but since I had never had a steak from here before I played it safe. The steak was decent it was a little tough to cut the surface but once I was able to get through the first layer it was easier to cut through. As far as the coconut shrimp I didn't eat it until the next day because I was full from the appetizer but the shrimp was decent as well I know it would've been much better if I air fried it or just at it at the restaurant so I can't fault them for that. Lastly I paired my meal with an ultimate piña colada. I was actually excited to try this drink but I was disappointed with the balance of flavors and also it tasted like a virgin drink to me. I didn't expect to get drunk or even tipsy off of the drink but I expected to taste a little liquor but overall it was still a decent drink. Overall it was a good experience I did like the restaurant and the vibe it gave, definitely felt like I was on a cruise. I would go back but I'd definitely try some other things and maybe stick to a sprite next time. read more

So Bahama Breeze is always packed it looks like a club and they have valet parking. Surprisingly there was no wait time but that might be because the party I was with made reservations in advance lol. We were seated by a window which was nice. They were playing Caribbean music which I enjoyed. It was rather loud but that was ok. Our waitress was amazing and very helpful with my dinner selection. They do serve alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages. I ordered shrimp and lobster linguine with a Bahama mama which came up to $31 which wasn't to bad. I also loved the fact that we could pay our tab at the kiosk on the table. My only downer is I was there to celebrate my friend's birthday but they no longer do birthday celebrations. Overall I would definitely go back just not on my birthday. read more

I haven't been to a Bahama Breeze in a long time. Came in for dinner on a Friday night. It was pretty busy but we didn't wait long because we got first available. We sat outside where they had live music. Our waitress was very friendly and even though they were understaffed did a good job. I tried the conch balls and they were ok. Nothing I was crazy about. I'll pass next time. I tried the soup which was very good. It had a little bit of spice and good flavor. Our hot wings were pretty good. The mixed drinks were disappointing as they were very light on the liquor. My friend is very familiar with a type of liquor in the drink and could not detect a hint of it. Maybe next time we'll order the drink at the bar to watch them make it. read more

I had a wonderful experience tonight at BB. The food was amazing and the service that our server Brooklyn provided was phenomenal. I have not been to BB in years, but I a glad that my husband took me here tonight. We had the coconut shrimp for an appetizer, the shrimp and lobster pasta, & the sirloin for dinner. Our food came out fast and hot. I really loved the pasta. It is also a very good portion which was a plus! read more

I've been wanting to try a Bahama Breeze for ages. The last time I tried about 8 years ago in South Florida, but the wait was 2 hours long and I had a baby with me at the time so that wasn't going to happen ... . Hubby and I were on our drive home from our little 10th anniversary get-away in Florida and we've been driving for hours to collide with crazy Atlanta traffic (kudos to you Atlanteans, who brave the chaos of the interstates traffic; I nearly died from anxiety trying to maneuver around - ha). Dinner time was around the corner and I had hubby look up a restaurant on my list that I had devised before our trip while I was trying to safely navigate us on I-85. He picked Bahama Breeze and that's where we headed. It is quite conveniently located off the highway. The parking lot was quite full, but we found a spot without any issues. The best part was that there was no wait at all and we were seated right away (thank you Superbowl Sunday). We perused the menus while we waited for our server. Apparently, there was a mix-up of who was supposed to serve us, but once our server introduced herself everything ran fairly smoothly. I noticed they had a lot of interesting "island" drinks and I definitely would have indulged, but alas I refrained and ordered a humble, but delicious Virgin Piña Colada (I had a virgin piña colada kick on this entire trip, so find out where else I had one - I'd give you a price for answering all of the locations correctly, but ... ). We did order the Beef Empanadas as an appetizer; hubby had the Jerk Chicken Pasta and I went with the Jamaican Stuffed Plantain Bowl. Presentation of the food was nice and it tasted quite good. It was a lot of food and I couldn't finish my bowl. Hubby finished his meal without trouble. We were thinking about getting dessert, but by this time service had slowed down and we were getting in a hurry to drive home to our kiddos, so we skipped it. The ambiance was definitely island vibes and I liked the restaurant layout as a whole and it was neat and clean at the time we were present. Restrooms were decent and clean as well. Hubby said experience was ok for him and I surprisingly liked it a lot. I even think we can use a Bahama Breeze in our hometown to liven things up (in addition they are open 7 days a week since they are a chain). Looking forward to visiting again and hopefully trying their Key Lime Pie or Chocolate Island (or both - ha) + a hard drink when passing through. Happy yelping! read more

I had a great experience with this location! I'm staying in a hotel across the street so i ordered for take-out. The server that took my order was extremely polite. She told me it would only take 10 minutes which was perfect because I was starving! I arrived to pick up the order and it was ready to go with no mistakes. I have a favorite meal here (the grilled chicken with cilantro crema) and it was made to perfection. Very satisfied with the entire experience! read more

Met a friend for dinner. The restaurant was much larger than I anticipated. The outdoor seating area is also a pretty good size. There wasn't a live band on the night we went, but the vibes were still good. The waitstaff was attentive and personable. We ordered the yucca mozzarella sticks, chicken tostones, jerk chicken pasta, and a salad. The portions are pretty large so if you are a light eater you should go with the lunch portion. I ordered the lunch portion of the pasta and still had some leftover. The jerk chicken pasta is tasty, but it's not a true spicy jerk flavor. If that's what you're looking for you might want to try another spot. The chicken tostones is served with fried plaintains. Ours were fried a little too hard to be enjoyable. I probably wouldn't order those again. Overall, dining in was a pleasant experience. read more

The food was delicious. The service was excellent. The ambiance was intimate, and it had an island type setting.

The coconut shrimp here is the absolute best. Each time I go I get the same thing. The vibe is always good.

This place was pretty good all things considered. You'd think with a name like "Bahama Breeze" I thought I'd be "kitschy" but it wasn't. It's was actually quit nice inside win a Caribbean theme. The food & service were both good. I ordered the Coconut Shrimp with a side salad. All very tasty (even though it was only 4 Shrimp). Everyone else in our party seemed to be satisfied. Nothing not up to par here! Great to see! I'd go again. read more

I was surprised how big the restaurant actually was inside. The service was top notch (our servers were super friendly!) and the food came out quickly. The food itself: DELICIOUS! We started off with the beef empanadas. He ordered the lobster mac and cheese and I got the braised short rib and oxtail. While I loved the meat for my entree, the rice was a little undercooked/tough for my liking. The mister loved his entree. We will definitely return to try out other items if we are in the area! read more

The Pros: The atmosphere is amazing! Live music looks good, but can't be heard from inside. The conch fritters don't have much conch in them, but the batter is good. The sauce that comes with the conch is delicious. Pretty good key lime pie but too much meringue on top. Very thick crust, but not bad! The Cons: Food is not seasoned at all! Sauces are the star of the show. The food isn't Bahamian, it's American, American style Latin, Italian-American and some conch fritters. The service is slooooow. Slower than in the Bahamas. But the staff is friendly. We had a group but several orders never came, even conch fritters. A Bahamian restaurant should have conch fritters coming out like hot cakes! Speaking of which, there was no Johnnycake or rum cake. The Bahamas without rum cake??? Strong drinks. I liked mine but some people didn't like tasting lots of rum in their cocktails. I'd return for the atmosphere to have a drink outside, but not for the food. read more

I've been back to Bahama Breeze three additional times after my initial review. I've never had much of a wait even though they always seem packed. On my last visit I tried the Jamaican Jerk wings and OMG they are delicious!!! They taste like they're seasoned with a mixture of spices including a hint of cinnamon. I couldn't get enough of them, but since we ordered them as an appetizer I restrained myself so that I could eat my main entree. We ended up taking two wings home and they were still amazing the next day. The Tequila Sunburn Glaze Salmon was delicious!! So sweet and savory. I was disappointed by the mashed sweet potatoes, they weren't the best I've had. They give you a very generous portion of them too! My husband and I always have to order the Bahama Mama when we come. You can't not order one of their signature mixed drinks when you're here! The menu changes, and I have not seen the beef chipotle bowl since my first visit. It was one of the best entrees I've had here. read more

WHAT IN THE ENTIRE FUQQQQ? I literally ordered wings to go.... they have curbside parking. I literally had to wait for about 25 minutes to get my ish! I called it in 20 min before even getting here! I asked for extra pineapple... didn't get that. My total was $8.26 and I gave the chick a $20. It took her over 10 minutes to bring me my change, and she only brought back $11.... I guess she decided to keep the spare change. I didn't even have the energy to ask sh*t. Never again. read more

With a place like this, you need to go with a group of people to enjoy the relaxed, beachy atmosphere. I wished that they had installed a pool for those hot months. Anyway, we were a group of 13 and orders were taken & no mistakes at all! Amazing. We were a group of noisy, some already tipsy bunch and our server Rom was sharp & on the ball. Thank you for putting up with our noisy bunch. We were there to celebrate a birthday. I ordered a crab & shrimp stack, caesar salad and lobster & shrimp quesadilla and a seafood paella. Went this evening for a friends birthday dinner. Out of the seven years I've lived in Georgia I've never been to this establishment. I must say I was very skeptical despite he good reviews I'd head from others. Some of the pictures on yelp made the food seem not so appetizing, but it was actually good‍. I gave this place four stars because the place could use some remodeling and my table could have have been a little cleaner .... but the food and service as good. I just had the pleasure of having the best waitress I've ever had in my entire life. Her name is Felicia, and she is the kind of person who prevents fires from starting as a post to some waiters and waitresses, who are just walking around trying to put out fires. She brought things to my table before even asking, rather... by just knowing that I would need them. She also frequently checked on me, but not in a nuisance way, but more as an assuring customer satisfaction. Excellent dinner experience and I thank Felicia for making it so. read more
