I like that I can reserve a table on Opentable & get seated immediately, even though it looked like people were waiting outside. I like the conch fritters, personally. My friends did not love, but that's ok. I had Calypso Shrimp pasta, no tomatoes, and loved it! It had a nice kick to it, but not too spicy. I tasted the Jerk Chicken pasta, which I thought would be spicy & it wasn't. Mine had more spice & I liked it more. K had the skirt steak but it needed more seasoning! Oh, the firecracker shrimp appetizer is good too. On another visit, I had the Cuban sandwich, which I asked for mayo instead of mustard. Basically, I want a ham sandwich panini, but that's just me! I would get it again. read more

Good 'ole faithful. That's the term I use to describe Bahama Breeze. This place never gets old, and never let's me down! The day I discovered their White Satin drink was the day our union became official, LOL! The White Satin is smooth and silky. Made with Parrot Bay Coconut Rum, Cointreau, Coconut Milk and Ginger. Got your mouth watering, huh?? But don't take my word for it, go and try it out for yourself. Their Skillet Simmered Jerk Shrimp appetizer is a dee-licious!!! It's large shrimp in a garlic-thyme butter with warm Cuban bread for dunking. If you're into spicy food, this one takes the cake. I think I shed a tear or two. Love the Caribbean atmosphere and the sweet sound that play throughout the restaurant. They also have live bands on the weekend which adds to the Caribbean vibe as well. It's definitely a laid back, kicking it with your friends, down to earth kinda place. The servers also add to the great times that I have when I dine in. If you ever want to get a taste but can't stay, call in your order. That process usually takes around 20 minutes for me when I'm ordering for 3 and under. read more

I would have given this place one star, but the food was good so I upped it to two. However, they really need to tighten up on who they hire. Our waitress, Shi, was horrible! She was not friendly and not attentive to our needs. She would start walking away from the table before we were even finished making a request or say something like "ya'll aight" as she walked past our table but did not stop to hear our response. Most of the time I could not understand what she was saying because she spoke really low and did not annunciate. We also received our main course prior to receiving our appetizer. By the time we had gotten our appetizer, we were just about done with the main course. The food was good, but the experience was horrible and overshadowed the good food. read more

I love the food here. I ordered the jerk chicken pasta, and it was amazing. The pasta was tender and very creamy. The jerk chicken was moist and very flavorful. My family thought that the dish was a little spicy, but I didn't notice. It just tasted good to me. Kristina, our server, was friendly and personable. She checked on us frequently and anticipated our needs. Based upon the service and quality of food, I would definitely return and recommend this restaurant. read more

I think this is like the only Bahama Breeze in the area for miles. It can get really crowded but the service is always consistent. At night time during the week, it is not as crowded and after 10 PM everyday it's half off appetizers! Our waitress was really nice and checked on us often. I had ordered the Spinach dip and chips and the coconut shrimp. It was good. The shrimp was breaded nicely with coconut and had a honey mustard type sauce that came with it. The spinach dip was creamy and flavorful. Also, the prices was just right. Got both for $10 during the half off apps. The vicinity itself is pretty huge and there is plenty of seating. They were practicing social distancing seating which is great! Overall, Bahama Breeze is a pretty awesome place in the Duluth area, try it out! read more

Visited here yesterday because I had a taste for good drinks. This place normally never fails when it comes to this area. Last few times I went, service wasn't the best but I decided to give it another try. There was plenty of parking available and there was no wait when I arrived. Everyone was very friendly. Each person I encountered was courteous and spoke to me. The waitress was very friendly. She came back and checked on us frequently (for the most part). She had insight when we asked what she recommended. As always, the Beef Empanadas did not disappoint. I ordered those as an appetizer. I also order Jerk Chicken Pasta with extra jerk seasoning. It was absolutely tasty and seasoned just right. I asked for extra jerk for more zap and zing. LOL! Overall, the experience was a good one. I will return. AGAIN... the drinks did not fall short. I was pleased. read more

While living in Atlanta back in the mid-90's I had visited Bahama Breeze once (not long after they first opened). I was not impressed. We were in the Atlanta area for a little getaway and I discovered this place was still around. After reading reviews we decided to give it a try. Turned out to be a good choice. It was Saturday night, and they were very busy. We put our name on the wait list (roughly 45 minutes) but then asked about sitting at the patio bar. To our surprise we were able to be seated immediately. That was a great choice, because our bartender / server, Mike, was excellent! Very friendly, helpful and fun. Dinner was very good as well. We had Jerk wings and jerk chicken pasta. Both were very tasty, and everything was hot. Good portion sizes left us full. I would certainly go back for another visit. read more

I had a great experience tonight, our server Alex made me feel comfortable even though I may not have been dressed for dinner. Her recommendations were wonderful and my drink was delicious. Great prices and if you go for happy hour your appetizers are half off! Large outdoor parking lot and plenty of seating either at the bar, dining room, or patio. read more

The staff were extremely friendly! I was greeted as soon as I entered the building and was immediately seated. I ordered several items to sample. I started off with the coconut shrimp and that was delicious the sauce was not sweet as I'm used to a sweeter sauce. We ordered 2 of these as these was superb. The artichoke dip was a little water for me but the table enjoyed them. Unfortunately on my entree there was a top of a marker in my black beans. The manager walked over and was very apologetic about the situation. The grilled chicken and mash were delish. I wish I could have tried the empanadas for dessert. We only ordered 1 round of drinks as the drinks were okay. I had the Long Island and should have made it top shelf. My friends ordered a frozen drink margaritas. read more

Seated immediately for lunch with co-workers. Drink order taken immediately and order taken promptly. One co-worker suggested the Lobster & Shrimp Quesadilla and it sound so good we all decided to try. No one was disappointed. I also decided to try the Bahamanian Seafood Chowder instead of a salad. Again not disappointed. I would definetly consider coming back if in the area. read more

This was my first and last time going to Bahama Breeze. The thing with Darden restaurants is that they are usually a hit or a miss and this was definitely a miss. The only reason i went to Bahama Breeze is because I was celebrating a family member's birthday. We got seated fairly quickly for a party of about 15. The waiter was awesome to a point. His personality was great, but his waiter skills could use a tiny bit of improvement. He took forever to order everyone's order. We had actually finished our appetizers and then realized that we haven't actually ordered our main entree yet. After he finally took our order, we had to hand him our menus because he didn't grab them of his own even though the table was clearly cluttered from the appetizer plates, menus, silverware, cups, etc. Fast forward to when the food came out, my order came out wrong. I ordered the coconut shrimp tacos and fish tacos came out. I wouldn't be so upset about except for the fact that I ordered first. Since my order was wrong m, my waiter graciously offered me a free drink or dessert. I chose the free drink. Eventually my food came out and the tacos were cold. The best thing about my plate was the rice and beans. I should've just ordered that. I am giving Bahama Breeze 2 stars because of the rice and beans ONLY. Unfortunately I won't be back even though there are a lot of "Caribbean" options I would've like to try. read more

SPECIAL PLACE in my heart. We get in & ask for a certain table - and even though the area is closed off, they still let us sit there. ALREADY HOSPITABLE. #LovesIt. Bartender took us, and HE IS THE NICEST GUY! 7 feet tall full of easy-going awesomeness. Totally helped us with what to eat, and hooked us up with drinks. After all the years that I have been eating at Bahama Breeze, I can't believe I had never reviewed it before. I love this place. This is my to-go place when we need to fulfill our cravings. It's a nice setting, spacious, wonderful service, and most importantly, all the delicious foods and drinks this place has to offer. I love how they had always kept things consistent and always take advantage of their Happy Hour. It's always a bonus when they send us coupons because there's no restrictions on using it during Happy Hour. If you want good foods and entertainment (yes, they have live Carribean music outside), this is the place to be. read more

The food is good and the service was good, however the behavior of the manger concerned me. Our seats were near the kitchen. I witnessed the manager with his mask off talking to kitchen staff. But it wasn't just that, he was talking extremely loudly and carrying on (to the point he was yelling and laughing, you could hear him across the restaurant), touching his nose and mouth, whilst standing over the food prep area and the CLEAN dishes used for serving food on. I can only imagine the respiratory droplets that were flying. He then grabbed a plate off of the line. Whether it was his personal dish or for a customer, I do not know, but it was disappointing to watch. And it obviously sends a message to his kitchen staff that they can wear their own masks improperly. Picture doesn't lie. read more

I will keep this short. When with friends who suggested the spot. It was packed and parking was crazy. When I arrived, the host was not helpful. I had to just look around to find my group. Once I did, I waited for about 15 mins or so before the server took my drink order. It would be another 30 before I actually got my drink, and then my food order taken. Meanwhile the rest of our group arrived, ordered, got food and drinks. I ordered shrimp tacos with a slight modification. Simple. Order was wrong. In essence, I arrived by 752, I was got my meal by 9ish. Over a whole hour to get tacos. Mediocre ones at that. The server was nice but scattered. Kept forgetting things and none of u got water for the first 60 mins. Three people asked, and got water around 930. Our reservations were at 730. Saving grace for the night: I enjoyed my drink - Bahamarita. The company of friends was great and made me over look the shortcomings of the food, serve, and noise. read more

I now remember why I stopped coming here. 1- sanitation. The bar tender had a lot of dirty glassware. Dumped the liquid and placed them in the rail of the bar upside down. No big deal. But when she cleaned them all she put them right back in the same place as the dirty ones (still upside down) for them to dry with out cleaning the area. That's gross before covid. 2- she had her air pods in and was talking on the phone about getting her hair and makeup done. If the company allows it ok but I see no good customer service from that. read more

Hit or miss with this place if your a drinker this is not the place because they make their drinks according to we love our customer and want to control their lives menu. I have been to this Bahama Breeze several times. I would give it 3.5 stars. The is a wide variety on the menu and food is good, not amazing but good. Service is usually pretty good as well. The atmosphere is pretty cool, although it can get pretty crowded so can be a bit noisy. My wife and I are relocating to the Atlanta area from Las Vegas. We have been to Bahama Breeze in Vegas and the Chicago areas multiple times. We were delighted to know that this property was open for dine-in service. We were waited on during our visits by, Porsche, Mercedes, and Paris. All were very polite, professional, and engaging. The service was excellent as were all the dishes we tried. The property was clean and everyone seemed to be in good spirits. I also noticed that the prices were a bit lower than the other locations we've visited, but the overall quality was still the same..a great bonus. Visit this property and try the coconut shrimp, or the salmon, or black bean plantains. All were delicious. We'll definitely be back! read more

My experience here is a-ok. I remember on the day I came here that I wanted to go somewhere else, a place with preferably cheaper food, but my sister insisted. Overall my time at Bahama Breeze was not super at all. The Bahamas theme was cool and our waiter was really nice to us! She totally persuaded me to choose a good smoothie and I wanted the option with alcohol. My sister got the virgin edition of the drink because she was gonna drive me home. This is the ridiculous part! The bartender comes to our table, gives us our drinks, and leaves. We had been drinking our smoothies for about 4 minutes and our waiter asked, "Did you two switch drinks?" I said, "No, not at all." She then told us that my sister has been drinking the alcoholic beverage the whole time and I had the virgin version. WHAT? If we didn't know, that would've been horrible. Anyway. The food was ok and pricy. I got the shrimp linguini because of pasta. The Cajun flavors were not that great. The food did not feel like it was the price. My sister also ordered a medium rare steak that looked well done. He best thing I ate here that I recommend to everyone is the beef empanadas. I LOVE them! They were flaky on the outside and moist in the middle. Best thing I ate there. All I will say to conclude is that the staff is very nice, yet unorganized, and beef empanadas are highly recommended. The food did not feel like it was worth their prices. read more

The drinks were the intro to the disaster of service to follow. It's understood they were shorthanded due to the COVID environment. 30 min wait to be seated. No problem. The waitress took our drinks and appetizer order. The alcohol-based drinks were too sweet and mine had extra sour mix as well. Unpleasant, but pretty. We choked them down expecting the food to improve the experience. She takes our food order and I requested that the seafood not be overcooked. I cannot eat it when it's hard and dry. 30mins after serving the drinks she claims she will check on the status of our app. 20+ mins later, people seated after us have gotten their apps and orders delivered by more than just their waiter. Keep in mind no one has checked on us, asked about our drinks or apologized about the wait time. She finally arrived with our cold dip and stale chips app. 5 mins after that, she brings out our main dishes and they're also luke warm and dried out. I was a bit irate but tried to remain composed as I explained my observations to the manager. They actually brought to go containers. No thank you. Cannot eat it here. Will not take out your trash for you. I was offended. Prior to this visit, I had never had a bad experience at a Bahama Breeze. As a veteran, I've been to quite a few around the country. Lack of people will never excuse this manner of service. The extra star is for the manger, the beer my brother ordered after choking down his extra sweet cocktail and the frozen drink my sister enjoyed. I do not suggest you go here until they are fully manned by happier waitresses. Ours had more time to stare at us standing next to the bar than serve our food in a timely fashion. We saw that as well hun. Didn't want to get you fired mentioning that to the manager, but hoping it will get you better trained for the next table of people you choose to prejudge. I'm a big girl with injuries who eats well and was raised by a 5 star caterer. Hospitality and food service was extremely important in the home. Never assume you know who you are serving. The server was very attentive and the drinks came out very fast. Both drinks were strong and made perfect. The spinach dip needed more cheese and less spinach. The calamari was cooked perfect but the portion was much smaller than the menu picture and pricey for the size.
